So naturally, Kelvin was feeling exhausted by the end of the evening so snuggled up to his wife, Eliza Marsland, once he got home.
In a cheeky Instagram selfie, a topless Kelvin smiles at the camera with Eliza laughing under the covers next to him.
‘Wow. What a night,’ Kelvin captioned the snap with a heart emoji.
Hours before his big debut, Eliza had shared a sweet message of support for her husband as he prepared to take to the Strictly dancefloor.
Alongside another – fully-clothed – selfie of them together, Eliza wrote: ‘I’ve spent a lifetime watching you on dance floors at 3am, usually half naked!
‘I can’t wait to watch you tonight on the ultimate dance floor hopefully still half naked! Good luck darling @kelvin_fletcheryou got this!’
Kelvin and his professional dance partner Oti Mabusa wowed the judges with a samba and received glowing reviews, with a high score of 32.
Shirley Ballas hailed the dance ‘electrifying’ while Craig Revel-Horwood said: ‘God works in mysterious ways… it was amazing.’
Sharing a kind message of support for Kelvin, Jamie said in an Instagram post: ‘We’re off to support the guys and girls, we can’t wait for it and we are supporting you all.
‘You are going to kill it, I will be sitting in the audience and I can’t wait.’
Strictly Come Dancing returns on BBC One next Saturday.

Linda saves the day in the cricket and becomes hero of the day. She never does anything by halves – her determination to learn every arcane rule about the game is admirable – but seems to grate on Alistair, who moans that she’s asking too many questions, until she points out Darrington’s no ball and overturns the umpire’s wicket against Ambridge, winning them the game. She’s now set on becoming an umpire herself – which I think is a brilliant idea but seems to horrify Alistair. Fickle as the wind, that one.
Oliver and Tracy‘s relationship is going from strength to strength and it’s a beautiful thing. They go out for a supper club night and it’s the first time he’s laughed so much since Caroline died. It was all thanks to Tracy, giving him stories about getting it on with fireman and her dodgy son setting fire to the garden shed.
Ian has called a truce with ‘druggie’ Freddie Pargeter because he’s getting someone he likes even less in at Grey Gables. Arch enemy no.1 Hugh from Lower Loxley is coming to take over in the kitchen – sorry, not take over, stand in – and Freddie has offered to spy for Ian.
Meanwhile over at Home Farm Adams quinoa has dried out too slowly and has got too high levels of some long word chemical or another and now has to be sold as birdseed! Adam’s furious and tries to blame Brian but Bri hits back that he took his eye off the ball with letting the gas in the drier run out.
Before he had the bad news about the quinoa, Pip managed to collar Ada and soften him up by giving him some baby clothes of Rosie’s, before apologising to him for springing the rewilding project on the partner meeting. Adam takes pity on Pipand says he’ll table the rewilding projects at the next meeting. Good thing he hadn’t just heard about the quinoa or he might have sent her packing.
Eddie comes up with the worst plan of all time, to get his own son fired by Martin Gibson. If anything is going to send Will further off the rails, it’s your dad plotting to get you fired. Luckily, Martin Gibson doesn’t know that Will has been taking his daughter on midnight patrols of the game park, and tells Brian that he’s got no reason to fire Will because Will is a good worker. It’s the only nice thing anyone said about Will in years.
Ed takes son of Peppa to market to sell him but he only makes £1000. Ed should really be playing the long game, as Eddie suggested, and have thought about keeping son of Peppa for breeding. Instead he took the quick buck and gave it straight to Emma for the kids. She wouldn’t take any for herself – she still has the tea shop and the chicken factory, but she’ll find it a bit harder to fit all that in with the kids full time. Looks like Susan and Neil are going to be roped into some serious unpaid labour. Still, that’s what grandparents are for, isn’t it?
Tommy Shelby (Cillian Murphy) has found a friend in a very high place in tonight’s Peaky Blinders finale – and joins forces with Winston Churchill in his battle against Oswald Mosley (Sam Claflin).
As Tommy prepares to assassinate Mosley in the middle of a rally, Churchill seeks out the South Birmingham MP to see what’s going on with his involvement in the British Union of Fascists.
Seemingly discovering that Tommy is only there to scope out Mosley and take him down from the inside, Churchill gives him his blessing.
Sitting in the Westminster chambers, Churchill bonds with Tommy over their time at war and tells him: ‘I have no doubts that there was once a time in Flanders when you were under the ground, and I was above it, both working to the same end.
‘We are in the same exact situation here in Westminster. Do what you have to do, Mr Shelby. And if you need anything, call me.’
Churchill seems to be particularly curious with the goings on of the Peaky Blinders – but not necessarily in a bad way.
He even seems impressed when he quizzes Tommy on the death of Inspector Campbell (Sam Neill) back in season two… and Tommy reveals it was actually Aunt Polly (Helen McCrory) who killed him.
Will Tommy’s plan work out? (Picture: BBC)
‘I really must come up to Birmingham some day and spend an evening with your family,’ he told him. ‘They sound interesting.’
Oh, Winston – you don’t even know the half of it, love.
Tonight’s episode will see Tommy and the Shelby boys try and take down fascist leader Oswald Mosley once and for all
Peaky Blinders season 5 concludes tonight at 9pm on BBC One.

But his inclusion in the show has allegedly meant him giving up his spot on the ice-skating ITV rival, and so Ben Hanlin, who appeared on magic series Tricked, is stepping up.
‘He fronted three series of ITV2’s Tricked but he hasn’t been on telly for a while now,’ a source told The Sun. ‘To say he’s excited is an understatement. He can’t wait to bring some magic to the show.’
Metro.co.uk has contacted Dancing On Ice reps for comment.
Team Dancing On Ice has been teasing who could possibly be joining the show over on their Instagram, with small clues leaving fans eager for the big reveal.
One seems to indicate that Joe Swash, fresh from ending his stint on I’m a Celebrity Extra Camp, will be trading the heat of Australia’s Gold Coast for the ice rink.
Other clues so far have included a footballer, what appears to be a commentator, an afro hairstyle, and a medal.
A man holding a joker playing card is who fans are assuming to be Ben, after initial suggestions thought BGT’s Richard Jones would be taking to the competition.
Dancing On Ice returns in early 2020 on ITV.

Saturday night’s show saw all 15 of this year’s Strictly Come Dancing duos take to the floor to show the judges what they could do – with routines ranging from jive and cha cha to Viennese Waltz and samba.
And while some were left celebrating after nabbing big scores in only their first week, others may have reason to be concerned with the first elimination looming next Sunday night.
So just who triumphed atop the leaderboard and who was left floundering?
Here’s what you need to know…
Who was top of the Strictly leaderboard in week one?
Top spot on the leaderboard in the first week went to former Emmerdale star Kelvin Fletcher, who wowed both judges and audience with his samba with dance partner Oti Mabuse.
That gave him the highest score for a first show dance in five years, Claudia Winkleman later confirmed.
‘I am talking about that spine, that hip rotation, that ooziness in your body,’ said new judge Motsi Mabuse.
Kelvin was a late addition to the cast after replacing Jamie Laing (Picture: BBC)
‘I enjoyed it I loved it, oh my God,’ she added before Shirley called it ‘electrifying’ and admitted she was lost for words and praised him for being in touch with his feminine side and ability to work with his body.
Kelvin finished just a point ahead of CBBC’s Karim Zeroual, who also won rave reviews for his cha cha with dance partner Amy Dowden.
Who was bottom of the Strictly leaderboard in week one?
Sadly, Olympic rowing champion James Cracknell failed to shine in his first week on the dancefloor, scoring just 11 points for his tango with partner Luba Mushtuk.
He finished just behind comedian Chris Ramsey, whose cha cha with Karen Hauer won him 13 points, and TV veteran Anneka Rice, who picked up 14 for her cha cha with Kevin Clifton.
Here’s how the scoreboard eventually shaped up…

The finale of the series has been considered most beloved episode (Picture: Getty/NBC)
The Big Bang Theory’s final episode, The Stockholm Syndrome, has been voted the best episode of the show’s entire run.
According to IMDb, viewers really did think the show went out with a bang as we said goodbye to Sheldon (Jim Parsons), Leonard (Johnny Galecki) and the rest of the gang.
The Stockholm Syndrome, the 279th episode overall, saw Sheldon and Amy (Mayim Bialik) finally get their highly fought-for Nobel prize, Penny (Kaley Cuoco) and Leonard get pregnant, and even unlucky in love Raj (Kunal Nayyar) get to spend an evening with Sarah Michelle Gellar.
In emotional scenes that left viewers blubbing, Sheldon made a rare unselfish act and thanked his best friends, completed by Howard (Simon Helberg) and Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) for putting up with him when things got difficult.
Even the elevator got fixed after 12 years.
It ended on a frame of the gang back together on the sofa, eating and fighting over Chinese food, just like old times.
It won over IMDb voters by a landslide, earning a 9.6 on their ratings scale.
Tied in second place were two episodes far more on brand for the group, with 2008’s The Bath Item Gift Hypothesis tying with The Change Constant, the penultimate episode of the show that set up the final.
The Bath Item Gift Hypothesis saw Sheldon panicking over Christmas gifts for Penny, seeing as he wanted his to match up worth-wise with hers.
However he’s left dumbstruck when Penny gifts him with Leonard Nimoy’s signed and used napkin.
As a result, she was given hundreds of dollars of gift baskets he’d bought to measure up, and then the rarest gift of all…actual affection from a hysterical Sheldon.

Changing the name to Carla, Mayim will star as Jim executive produces the show.
The Big Bang Theory is available on Netflix and airs on E4 in the UK.

The star was contracted on Neighbours for two years (Picture: Channel 5)
Fans freaked out after ex-Neighbours star Bonnie Anderson enthralled the audience with her vocals on Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions.
The 25-year-old made an appearance on last night’s show and left jaws agape by the end of her performance.
Bonnie went on tour with Olly Murs before diving into the acting business, so her enchanting vocals shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone.
The actress graced fans when she put on a soulful performance of You Say by Lauren Daigle.
During her pre-performance video, the star explained: ‘Neighbours is a new thing to me, being on set, it’s really special – it kind of makes me feel like “Woooo!” I get to be Karl and Susan [Kennedy’s] niece, it’s just awesome.’
Excited fans took to social media to express their happiness in seeing the Australian soaps actress – who played Bea Nilsson on Neighbours – appearing on their screens.

‘Absolutely stunning voice, she did you proud and I loved we got to see Her journey as I only knew her from Neighbours, well done @BonnieAnderson_,’ one fan tweeted.
‘OMG how did I not know @BonnieAnderson_ was going to be on @BGT. Adore her as an actress and a singer and her performance was amazing,’ another fan tweeted along with two heart eyes emojis.
Bonnie unluckily wasn’t sent through to the final as she lost out to American comedian Preacher Lawson and father-son team Stavros Flatley.
Everyone else was sent home.
Bonnie joined the cast of Neighbours in 2018 and was a big hit with the show’s fans immediately.
The star played an apprentice mechanic but is known for always singing.
Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions airs on Saturdays at 7.30pm on ITV.

And while the show may have seen some early front-runners emerge, others could well be facing the prospect of being the first celeb to leave the dancefloor when the eliminations begin.
That happens on Sunday nights of course – but the show’s absent from the Sunday schedules this week.
Just where is it – and when will we be bidding farewell to our first couple?
Here’s what you need to know…
Why is there no Strictly Come Dancing tonight?
Karim Zeroual and Amy Dowden were among the highest scorers of the first show (Picture: PA)
The reason for this one is pretty simple – there’s no Sunday night show tonight because the eliminations don’t begin until next weekend.
While all 15 couples took to the floor for their first performance with their pro partners on Saturday night, they’re given a week’s grace period at the start of the series.
That means everybody gets to perform a minimum of two routines before the public gets to cast their vote on who they want to keep in the competition.
It also allows two weeks’ worth of judges’ scores to be combined – which means those who might have finished down the bottom of the scoreboard in week one have a second chance to try and impress both the panel and the voters in week two.
When is the first Strictly elimination?
The first elimination show is next Sunday night on BBC One at 7.15pm – with the voting lines open at the end of next Saturday night’s show at 8.50pm.
The results will be made up of viewer votes together with the combined scores of the judges over the fortnight’s worth of shows.
The couples in the bottom two will perform again in their bid to remain in the competition, with the panel then voting which of the two they want to save – and the losing couple becoming the first to depart the dancefloor.
Currently Olympic rowing champion James Cracknell is the bookies’ favourite to leave, with Ladbrokes offering odds of 6/4 on him being first out after he scored just 11 points for his tango with pro partner Luba Mushtuk on Saturday night.

Ross definitely attracted his fair share of ladies (Picture: Getty; NBC)
It’s 25 years since Friends first aired – and one of the first things we learned in the pilot episode was that Ross Geller (David Schwimmer) was a hopeless romantic.
Mourning the ending of his first marriage in the coffee shop with his pals, life seemed to give him a heck of a helping hand when his teenage crush Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) runs into the coffee shop in a wedding dress.
Alas, it still took him 10 years (and a hell of a lot of detours) for him to finally start a life with her and their daughter Emma.
So what happened to the girls he met along the way? Where would they be now?
Here’s our verdict on where they would be at these days, and how connected they would be to Ross…
Susan and Carol will still be together and now living in London (Picture: NBC)
Carol Willick (Anita Berone/Jane Sibbett)
Carol was Ross’s first wife, who left him shortly before the events of the pilot episode.
It turned out that she was a lesbian, and after finding love with Susan Bunch (Jessica Hecht), she decided to end her unhappy marriage for a new life.
The pair remained inseparable ever since, and throughout the show’s 10-year run they were one of the few couples to stay the course throughout, getting married and raising Ben, Ross’s biological son.
Actress Jane reckoned that the couple moved to London after the show ended and spend their days worrying about Ben.
We see the holistic couple running a store somewhere and have loads of casual famous friends like Cara Delevingne just dropping in to say hi.
Bonnie would be embracing her true self after shaving off her hair (Picture: NBC)
Bonnie (Christine Taylor)
Bonnie is known for being ditched by Ross in season four after she decided she wanted to go back to her days of a shaved head, saying it was easier for her to handle than the blonde tresses she had now.
Encouraged by Rachel, who literally wielded the razor, Bonnie surprised the group with her new hairstyle while they were holidaying together at a beach house.
Ross broke up with her in the same episode, in order to get back with Rachel.
We reckon Bonnie will have fully embraced her free-spirited life by now, moved to Los Angeles to be closer to the beach and ended up either in a nudist colony, or teaching hot yoga in the suburbs.
Elizabeth and Ross romance was doomed from the start (Picture: NBC)
Elizabeth Stevens (Alexandra Holden)
There were a lot of things wrong in Elizabeth and Ross’s relationship – starting with the 12 year age gap and the fact she was a student at the college Ross worked at.
They split when Ross, shock horror, came to the realisation that she was too immature for him, thanks to a number of water balloon fights.
We reckon that after her rowdy college years, under the protective eye of her father, she became the suburban housewife she was fighting not to be, but actually kind of enjoys it.
Elizabeth is now happily married, with three kids and a dog, and is praying to god that video from Spring Break is buried having never made it to the internet.
She’d hate to have to talk about it to the snobby moms at one of the PTA meetings.
Emily couldn’t get over Ross saying Rachel’s name on their wedding day (Picture: NBC)
Emily Waltham (Helen Baxendale)
Emily, aka wife number two for the paleontologist, ended her marriage before it even began to Ross, kicking him in the crotch and storming off moments after their wedding.
To be fair, he did say someone else’s name at the altar.
Despite Ross’s efforts to try and make it work, New York, and Rachel, was just too much to ask of him to give up, and that was the end of that.
Emily only really wanted to be loved, and settle into an adult like that she felt she was entitled to.
We reckon she succeeded, and is now married with a child or two, living in a big house in Surrey to someone with a very middle class name – like Benedict or Cuthbert.
Ross and Rachel were always endgame on the show but the reality might not have been that easy (Picture: NBC)
Rachel Green (Jennifer Aniston)
This is the big one. She’s his lobster, the mother to his daughter, the love of his life since the beginning of the series.
She even got off the plane for him.
But will they have survived 15 years after they finally decided to give love a chance and ended the show on a high note?
We reckon she will still be making her name in fashion though, and will now probably have her own Upper West Side apartment and living life like the Miranda Priestley of Ralph Lauren.
Friends airs on Comedy Central and streams on Netflix in the UK.

Kelvin Fletcher and Oti Mabuse lit up the dancefloor in the first Strictly live show (Picture: BBC)
Kelvin Fletcher has emerged as the one to watch after the first week of Strictly Come Dancing 2019, thanks to his sensational samba routine.
The former Emmerdale star was a late arrival to the series after replacing Made In Chelsea star Jamie Laing – but is now the bookies’ favourite to win after delivering a routine with pro partner Oti Mabuse which Shirley Ballas called ‘electrifying’.
But just why did he step in for Jamie – and what score did he get to send him to the top of the leaderboard?
Here’s what you need to know…
Why did Kelvin Fletcher replace Jamie Laing on Strictly?
Jamie Laing took front row in the audience on Saturday night after having to drop out of the competition (Picture: BBC)
Kelvin Fletcher stepped in to replace Jamie Laing after the reality star suffered an injury which forced him to drop out of the competition.
Jamie had been all set to partner Oti in the show, having been paired up with her on launch night – but quit just days later after injuring his foot during the launch show’s group routine.
Although he was seen on that show, he was later seen explaining that he was unable to continue after his foot was put into a surgical boot.
‘I’m absolutely devastated that I’m unable to continue in the competition, I was so excited to hit the dance floor!’ he said.
‘I would like to wish the lovely couples all the very best and hope they enjoy their time on the show to the fullest.’
Kelvin scored four eights from the judges for his samba efforts (Picture: BBC)
‘So it was a really strange feeling because I almost felt guilty about being excited and being really chuffed to do it because you know some poor guy there was absolutely gutted that we was injured and couldn’t do it.’
Kelvin and Oti topped the leaderboard on Saturday night with a whopping 32 points from the judges – the highest score in a week one show in five years.
‘I am talking about that spine, that hip rotation, that ooziness in your body,’ said Motsi
‘I enjoyed it I loved it, oh my God,’ she added before Shirley praised him for being in touch with his feminine side and for his ability to work with his body.’
Kelvin’s now favourite to take the Glitterball trophy according to Ladbrokes, with spokesperson Jessica O’Reilly saying: ‘Kelvin’s sexy samba wowed everyone on Saturday night, leaving us with little option but to slash his odds of winning all the way down to just 6/4.’
Strictly Come Dancing continues next Saturday night on BBC One at 6.40pm.

Jameela hints the end is going to be heartbreaking (Picture: TV Promos/YouTube; Rex)
Jameela Jamil has warned The Good Place is going to break your heart by the time she show ends on season 4.
The actress, who plays Tahani Al-Jamil on the show, has warned that the ending will be unexpected…and even teases it might not be the happy ending everyone’s wanting.
Speaking ahead of the show’s return on 27 September, she said: ‘I think this is the coolest way we could’ve said goodbye to this show and said goodbye to our fans.
‘I don’t think anyone’s going to see this ending coming. I definitely didn’t. I was like “it’s going to be a reality TV show in the end!” I was coming up with all sorts of stupid ideas, and I didn’t see this coming at all.’
‘It’s going to be so thought-provoking and so emotional,’ she warned. ‘It’s so heart-breaking, but it’s a huge message about not taking things for granted, and how we measure our happiness that I think will really resonate across the world.
‘I feel so sad to be saying goodbye to this show but I couldn’t think of a classier way that he could’ve orchestrated this.’
What the fork is that supposed to mean?
Season four kicks off with the Soul Squad restarting the experiment that changed their lives with four new people – as the Bad Place goes out of their way to make sure it doesn’t work.
Bringing four people into the afterlife that are deliberately set up to make the main team’s life hell, Chidi (William Jackson Harper) made the brutal decision to have his memory wiped of everything, including girlfriend Eleanor (Kristen Bell) to stop the risk of him spilling the truth to his ex.
This is before they even bring in the two people destined to cause trouble for Jason and Eleanor.
Tahani has her own problems to deal with, as a gross gossip blogger who ripped her image and self-esteem apart making his way into the Good Place too.
Holy shirtballs, there’s a lot to unpack when the show returns.

The Gogglebox sisters aren’t viewers’ favourites right now (Picture: Channel 4)
Gogglebox, the show about watching people watching TV, has somehow found itself involved in the #MeToo movement.
Two of the recurring stars of the show, sisters Ellie and Izzi, have drawn plenty of criticism and complaints for flippant jokes about the important movement – which went viral in 2017 as it demonstrated how common sexual harassment is in the workplace – which they made on the show.
Who are they, and what did they say about #MeToo?
Who are Ellie and Izzie Warner from Gogglebox?
The sisters have been a mainstay on the show since joining in 2015 (Picture: Getty Images)
They film their scenes for Gogglebox at her flat, and she has a son called Bobby.
The sisters joined the show back in 2015 and have been popular cast members since.
What was their #MeToo Gogglebox joke?
The Gogglebox sisters’ joke that caused such a strong reaction from viewers was playing on the #MeToo movement.
Ellie admitted that she and her friends have made up a game partly inspired by the movement about sexual harassment and assault.
The game involved her friends chasing each other, grabbing each other’s ‘boobs or bum’ and calling out ‘me too’ when they were caught.
The remarks spawned a big response on Twitter, with one person saying: ‘Can’t actually believe that woman on Gogglebox taking the p**s of the Me Too movement with her pals, chasing and grabbing each other’s breasts and shouting “me too” whenever they caught each other.’
Another added: ‘The two sisters on #Gogglebox are so annoying. Why are they still on the show? Who makes a game out of #MeToo? Ellie just come across as stupid. Both sisters think it’s clever to say such stupid stuff to get headlines.’
One viewer was left confused over the prop (Picture: BBC)
Strictly Come Dancing kicked off its 17th series in style on BBC One last night – but one particular prop on the stage has left one viewer with a lot of questions.
As Strictly co-host Tess Daly spoke to the camera, an eagle-eyed viewer couldn’t help but notice a certain prop in the background that resembled something quite naughty.
So of course, the fan took to Twitter to share their shock and confusion over this strangely-shaped object.
‘Wtf is that prop? #Strictly,’ they said, as they also posted a screengrab of the prop on the dancefloor.
However, upon closer inspection, it looks as if the prop was in actual fact, a fire hydrant.
‘Looks to me like an American fire hydrant,’ another replied.
Whatever the prop was meant to be, it clearly entertained some viewers.
As well as certain props being left on stage, fans have also been blown away by Emmerdale actor Kelvin Fletcher, who wowed the judges with his samba routine with partner Oti Mabuse.
‘Kevin Fletcher had me hot under the collar… HOLY S*** [sic],’ one fan said.
Another added: ‘Think I’ve just decided I’m team Kelvin Fletcher for the series #Strictly.’
‘Catching up on Strictly and holy f*** @kelvin_fletcher is amazing,’ one very impressed fan tweeted.
Kelvin and Oti have also topped the leaderboard, after receiving a staggering 32 out of 40 points – this has given them the highest score for a first show in five years.
Meanwhile, Olympic rowing champion James Cracknell is bottom of the leaderboard, scoring just 11 points for the tango with his partner Luba Mushtuk.
Strictly Come Dancing continues next Saturday (28 September) at 6:40pm on BBC One.

She continued: ‘We didn’t officially announce that we had eloped on December 28th, 2018. We were hoping to have a big shindig in celebration of our nuptials, but had to wait to save up the money.
‘While, our marriage, on paper, was a short one. Our hearts had been married for far longer. I will be forever thankful for the time we had to love each other.
‘Five years felt like a lifetime, in the best possible ways. There will never be another light like Aron’s. The beauty that he was and the legacy he leaves behind is beyond words. I love him dearly and will miss him eternally.

Chase Masterson wrote on Twitter: ‘We are aching and sorry more than words can ever say. Rest In Peace, @AronEisenberg. We will always love you and Nog.
‘We love you, Malissa. You are family, and you always will be.’
The actor also had roles in TV series such as Star Trek: Voyager, The Secret World Of Alex Mack and Blade Of Honour.
Not only did the crowd fall in love with him immediately, his dance moves were highly complimented by the judges.

Kelvin must have felt exhausted shaking his hips as by the end of yesterday evening he was snuggled up to his wife once he got home.
Alongside another – fully-clothed – selfie of them together, Eliza wrote: ‘I’ve spent a lifetime watching you on dance floors at 3am, usually half naked!’
After they had a chance to finally rest, Elizabeth also shared a video of the couple getting coffee together, where she asked him: ‘How do you feel, darling?’
‘Good. Can’t quite believe what happened last night. Did the judges watch the same dance that I did, because it didn’t feel like it.’

Well, they must have watched the same dance considering even Bruno Tonioli had said it was the best opening Samba he’d seen in 15 years.
That’s a lot of Sambas.
After they showed off their killer moves, it was easy for them to top the leaderboard by scoring 32 points, which is impressive considering Kelvin only joined the show two weeks ago to replace Jamie Laing.
The soap star stepped in at the last minute after the Made In Chelsea personality hurt his foot.
Strictly Come Dancing continues Saturday at 6.40pm on BBC One.

Ovie’s doing his best Beast impression (Picture: ITV)
The Chase’s Mark Labbett has claimed that he’s a bigger draw for clubbers than most of the Love Island men thanks to his impressive work ethic.
Mark, who competes as The Beast on the ITV daily quiz show, has become something of an unusual fixture on the UK nightclub circuit, joining the ranks of reality TV contestants regularly hosting PAs or meet and greets with their fans.
But for the 54-year-old quiz champion, his work ethic and experience in the business is what gets him asked back, telling the Star on Sunday that he regularly outworks TV rivals half his age.
‘When I do nightclub appearances you start at 1am so the hours are anti-social,’ he said. ‘But I get in there and do the work.’
Not drinking when surrounded by, um, less than sober party goers, Mark’s ability to stay on task has made him a firm favourite among club owners and promoters.
‘I have an advantage because I rarely drink,’ the father-of-one continued. ‘I turn up to these events on time, sober, properly dressed and ready to work.

‘That puts me ahead of about 90% of the Love Island guys who will turn up the next week. They’re lovely, but sometimes they haven’t got the best work ethic.’
Mark’s private life has been the subject of public scrutiny this year after splitting from his 26-year-old wife Katie with the quizzer confirming that the couple had been ‘drifting for a while.’
However, in September Mark appeared on Loose Women and updated fans on the news that he was back together with Katie, adding that he still wanted to keep their family life private.
‘Like a lot of relationships you go through a rough patch and our priority is our son and we’re working our way through,’ he told the panel.
‘We try to be quite private, we’ve never done the glossy magazines. A tabloid offered us money for an exclusive and we politely declined. It’s not what we do.’
He continued: ‘You won’t find a pic of our son, nor am I gonna name him. If he wants to have social media when he’s older he can but I won’t do it for him. I want to embarrass him when he’s old enough to embarrass me back.’

Peaky Blinders’ dramatic – and record-breaking – fifth season comes to an end tonight, and things are looking dicey for Oswald Mosley.
The character of Oswald Mosley was a new addition to season 5, and he’s proven to be quite the foe for Tommy Shelby.
How accurate is Sam Claflin’s version of the real-life Mosley, and just who was he really?

Who was Oswald Mosley?
The show so far has been pretty accurate about who Sir Oswald Mosley was.
He did rise to fame (or infamy) as the leader of the British Union of Fascists in the 1930s.
He inherited his ‘Sir’ title as he was the sixth baronet of a title that had been in his family for centuries – rather than being knighted by the King.

It was the comeback that Peaky Blinders fans have been waiting for – Alfie Solomons (Tom Hardy) is back in business!
The Jewish mobster was given a surprise visit by Tommy (Cillian Murphy) after surviving the gunshot in season four that was supposed to have killed him.
Setting up home in Margate with nothing but a maid, Alfie is definitely not the man he used to be – looking a little worse for wear with a huge scar on his face and seemingly blind in one eye.
Turns out that it was Alfie himself who tipped Tommy off to him being alive, thanks to sending him a letter on a hell of a lot of drugs to make sure that his beloved dog Cyril was OK.
But his smart-mouth hasn’t gone anywhere – telling Tommy that they were ‘both f***ed’ when it comes to going to hell.
On how he survived on the beach after the shootout, he simply said: ‘I was lying out there when the tide came in woke me up. I was looking around thinking f**k, if this is hell it looks a lot like Margate.’
He later joked: ‘I was shot in the face by some c*** – won’t bore you with the details.’
Tommy knows this though, but finally came to see his old pal after their shootout in order to help him gather the mob needed to try and take down a bigger enemy – Oswald Mosley (Sam Claflin).
Announcing his plans to assassinate Mosley at a rally, Alfie told him: ‘I hope you do a better job on him than you’d done on me.’

Their head-to-head remained, as always, a battle of their wits as they tip-toed between loving and loathing each other while Tommy tried to convince him it was a cause worth fighting for.
Eventually, Tommy wins him over, and Alfie supplies a Jewish mob to storm the rally to cover for the assassination attempt.
Naturally, viewers were glad to see Alfie make his long awaited return from the dead
HE'S ALIVE ALFIE'S ALIVE!!! I KNEW IT HAHA #PeakyBlinders
The king has returned, all is right in the world, no one else matters, King Alfie done been resurrected and this is the real business end of all business #PeakyBlinders
Jimmy laughed off the suggestion, and told Tommy: ‘He’s dead, and he’s Jewish. And I’d say as far as our boss is concerned him being dead would be less of an obstacle than him being Jewish.’
Guess Alfie and the Peaky Blinders are back in business after all…but in season six, they’ve got a hell of a fight on their hands if they’re going to defeat the fascist tyrant.
Let war commence.
Peaky Blinders is available on BBC iPlayer now, and on Netflix from 5 October.

Will we be seeing more Peaky? Here’s what you need to know…
Will there be a season 6 of Peaky Blinders?
It’s been a cracker of a series (Picture: BBC)
While the BBC hasn’t confirmed whether there will be a sixth season of the show, its creator Steven Knight pretty much has – as he’s previously revealed he is already working on both season six and season seven.
‘We are definitely doing series six and we will probably do seven,’ he told the BBC back in 2018.
‘After series four it went mad. We’ve talked to Cillian Murphy and he’s all for it, and the rest of the principal cast are in for it.’
He has also given some indication of what time period the next two seasons might take things to – saying that having started the series just after the end of the First World War he’d be keen to end it at the start of World War II.
‘My ambition is to make it a story of a family between two wars, so always I’ve wanted to end it with the first air raid siren in Birmingham (which was on 25 June 1940),; he explained.
When will we get to see season 6 of Peaky Blinders?
Given that series five is only just coming to an end we might have to wait a while for more – bearing in mind that we’ve waited 17 months for the fifth season, with the previous series ending just before Christmas 2017.
However director Anthony Byrne – who worked on the current series – recently confirmed to GQ that season six is set to go before the cameras early next year.
‘I’m reading the scripts at the moment,’ he explained. ‘I start properly on series six in early November, then we start shooting early next year is the plan.’

So bearing in that in mind it’s just possible we might get more Peaky before the end of 2020 – but we’ll just have to keep an eye on those schedules.
In the mean time, you can catch up with any series five episodes you’ve missed – as well as the previous four series – on the BBC iPlayer.
