Bradley Walsh is joined by his top celebrity guest players yet in The Chase this weekend with Ferne McCann, Dan Walker, Mark King and Ruth Davidson, who he managed to make slightly uncomfortable with an awkward question.
Naturally, when a politician puckers up the courage to face the ITV quiz, they’re going to get a grilling from Bradley.
But when the 59-year-old asked the Scottish Conservative Party Leader if she was ‘in or out’ you can interpret that in a number of ways, and none of them are favourable.
‘Well hopefully we’ll get plenty of money in the bank,’ Ruth squirmed, dodging the question.
Bradley assured; ‘No, you know what I mean.’
Actually, it turns out none of knew what he meant, least of all Ruth who replied: ‘I was in, always in.’

Ferne McCann tries her luck on The Chase this weekend (Picture: ITV)
‘I’m out,’ said Bradley. ‘I’m talking about the Hokey Cokey.’
This weekend the fab four will try to build as much cash as they can as they take on either Jenny Ryan, Shaun Wallace, Mark Labbett, Anne Hegerty or Paul Sinha.
We’ll be watching, as will Love Island’s Jordan Hames no doubt after he’s been romantically linked to I’m A Celebrity favourite, Ferne, who admitted she’s taking a guy’s approach to dating right now – by dating five of them.
‘I’m sick and tired of lust. Maybe an older man because I’ve always gone for younger guys,’ the mum-of-one explained to OK! Online. ‘I’ve only ever been a single mum so I don’t know any different and I don’t need help.’
The Chase Celebrity Special airs tomorrow night at 7.30pm on ITV.

Stars send letter to BBC demanding rethink over Naga Munchetty’s ‘racist’ Trump row
A group of more than 40 broadcasters, presenters and actors have penned a letter to the BBC in support of presenter Naga Munchetty.
Earlier in the week, the 44-year-old BBC Breakfast host was reprimanded by the company’s Executive Complaints Unit (ECU) for linking her own experience with racism to discriminatory tweets sent by US president Donald Trump.
One of the largest of these was a letter from a group of ‘prominent Britons of colour’ which was published in The Guardian.
Titled ‘You can’t be ‘impartial’ about racism – an open letter to the BBC on the Naga Munchetty ruling,’ the post is co-signed by stars including actors Lenny Henry and Adrian Lester, journalists Afua Hirsch, Krishnan Guru-Murphy and Charlie Brinkhurst-Cuff and comedian Gina Yashere.
‘We, the undersigned group of people of colour who work in the media and broadcasting in the UK, strongly condemn [the ECU’s] finding and assert that it amounts to both a misunderstanding of the BBC’s editorial guidelines, and a form of racially discriminatory treatment towards BAME people who work on programming,’ they wrote.
Naga spoke about her own experiences with racism to co-host Alex Walker (Picture: BBC)
‘While we stand in support of Munchetty, the consequences of this decision are widespread with implications for the entire media landscape in the UK and those who work within it.
‘The scope of its effect is already evidenced in the unprecedented number of BAME media figures who have openly and publicly voiced their condemnation on social media,’ they continued.
In a set of demands laid out at the end of the letter, the group wrote that they wanted the decision to be overturned, for the BBC to tell their journalists they don’t expect them to be ‘impartial’ in the face of racism and for the ECU and Ofcom to ‘address their own levels of diversity and increase transparency as to how they reach their decisions.’
Alongside these 40+ BAME media figures, one unlikely broadcaster to come out in support of Naga was Piers Morgan, who accused the BBC of trying to gag her.
‘Since the BBC will gag my breakfast show rival @BBCNaga from saying anything about this, allow me: it’s bloody ridiculous,’ he shared.
‘Her words were powerful & necessary. Shameful censorship.’

Lewis Hamilton is seen championing veganism for new documentary The Game Changers, alongside Arnold Schwarznegger, Jackie Chan, and James Cameron.
The documentary follows elite Special Forces trainer James Wilks as he searches for the truth about meat, protein, and the rise of plant-based eating in professional sports.
In a clip from the documentary, five-time Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton explains how his shift to a vegan-based diet has helped him feel his best in years.
‘We all want to feel great,’ Lewis says. ‘We all want to look great and have more energy.
‘The most important thing is about having the right fuel in your body. I can’t remember feeling this great in my whole 32 years of my life.’
Lewis recently opened up about his personal struggles with his weight in a post on Instagram, writing: ‘My weight fluctuates every week with all this travelling. One week I bulk up and then other weeks I lose muscles and put on fat.
‘Can honestly say I’ve never been 100% happy with my look, that’s why I just keep working at it.’
He added: ‘I have days I can’t be assed but then the days I can are so rewarding. Just want to let you know that whilst you are perfect just the way you are, if you want change only you can do it.’
The Game Changes will be available on Apple TV and other major platforms on 1 October.
The 38-year-old replaced Dame Darcey Bussell on the current series of the BBC competition, making her debut last Saturday.
And, during an appearance on spin-off It Takes Two, she told Zoe Ball and Rylan Clark-Neal she still has treats in store for the audience.
‘There is more inside but you have to just quietly step in,’ she explained when asked about her stint.
When Rylan joked that she hasn’t quite been that quiet so far, she insisted: ‘That was quiet guys!
‘There’s still more to come because I think there’s still more fantastic dancing, and I think the closer we get as a panel, then we’ll have a lot more fun, I think.’
Motsi made her Strictly debut last weekend (Picture: PA)
And how does she think the dancers have started off?
‘I sat there and thought, “What is going to happen now because everybody is so good!”
‘They all have a lot of pressure because they all started so strongly. Of course we expect that level to stay so we aren’t disappointed.
‘So they need to work, it’s on them, they know how the game works.’
Oti and Kelvin soared to the top of the leaderboard (Picture: BBC One)
Motsi also took a second to give sister Oti a shout-out of sorts, explaining Kelvin Fletcher and Michelle Visage surprised her the most.
She might have to get in line after his epic Samba basically broke the internet.
The Emmerdale actor soared to the top of the leaderboard on his debut, with a whopping 32 out of 40.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes confirmed the new, explaining: ‘There’s a long way to go in this series but someone will have to pull something pretty spectacular out of the bag if they’re to pip record-breaking Kelvin Fletcher to the post.’
Bring. It. On.
Strictly Come Dancing continues on Saturday, at 6.40pm, on BBC One.

Richard Madeley reaches peak Alan Partridge with Gangnam Style (Picture: Channel 4)
Richard Madeley reaches peak Alan Partridge in tonight’s episode of The Circle.
The Good Morning Britain presenter has had fans in stitches after entering the Channel 4 show, and it looks as though he won’t disappoint in an upcoming challenge.
Dressed head-to-toe in a motion capture suit, the 63-year-old has to perform as his 27-year-old alter-ego, Judy, for the rest of the contestants.
And this includes him attempting to take on the Gangnam Style, as well as the iconic twerk.
Before busting a move, that the other players will see through a generic avatar on their screens, the father-of-two takes a moment to admire his costume.
Stroking his chest, the star laughs: ‘Forty years in journalism and broadcasting, and the very pinnacle has arrived.’
But, despite giving it his best go, it seems his fellow players aren’t impressed by his morris dancing skills.
Richard caused quite a stir in the apartment after catching the eye of Zoey Ball’s son, Woody.
Sizing up Richard’s fake profile, Woody – who is hiding his famous heritage from the other players, declared she’s ‘pretty fit’.
Woody is already crushing on Richard’s fake profile Judy (Picture: Channel 4)
Meanwhile, Katie, who is pretending to be her son Jay, is completely taken in by Judy, who brags on her profile she’s met a ‘real-life astronaut’ and dropped out of uni.
‘She sounds nice. She’s definitely real… I can just tell,’ she smirked.
But Tim isn’t as convinced as the others, as the cat lover has already started to grill Judy on her profile.
‘Judy! Amazing profile,’ he said: ‘I long to know, which school? Which uni? Which astronaut?’
Will the players realise Judy is not who she says she is, or will Richard leave the show unscathed?
The Circle airs weeknights at 10pm on Channel 4.

Ofcom is investigating BBC over Naga Munchetty’s Donald Trump comments (Picture: Getty)
Ofcom is assessing BBC for upholding a complaint against Naga Munchetty, after she condemned a racist comment from Donald Trump.
The move comes after Labour MP Chi Onwurah filed a complaint with the regulator, stating BBC ‘censored’ the host.
An Ofcom spokesperson confirmed the news in a statement to Metro.co.uk, which read: ‘We have recently received complaints relating to this programme and we are assessing the content against our own broadcasting rules.’
If the broadcaster is found to have breached the rules, a formal investigation will be launched.
‘Every time I’ve been told as a woman of colour to “go home”, to “go back to where I’ve come from,” that was embedded in racism,’ she said.
Donald Trump caused outrage when he suggested four congresswomen should ‘go home’ (Picture: AP)
‘Now I’m not accusing anyone of anything here but you know what certain phrases mean.’
While she received praise for highlighting her own experiences with racism, the BBC’s Executive Complaints Unit (ECU) has stated they’re upholding an official complaint about the incident for breaking impartiality guidelines.
‘The ECU ruled that while Ms Munchetty was entitled to give a personal response to the phrase “go back to your own country” as it was rooted in her own experience, overall her comments went beyond what the guidelines allow for,’ a spokesperson said.
After the move caused outrage, the ECU released a new message to further explain their actions, stating that while Trump’s comments were ‘widely condemned as racist’ and Naga was ‘perfectly entitled to give a personal response’, she crossed a line when talking about Trump directly.
Naga highlighted the underlying racism of the comment from Trump on air (Picture: BBC)
‘Our editorial guidelines do not allow for journalists to then give their opinions about the individual making the remarks or their motives for doing so – in this case President Trump – and it was for this reason that the complaint was partially upheld,’ they wrote.
#IStandWithNaga soon started trending after the ruling (Picture: Rex)
Titled ‘You can’t be ‘impartial’ about racism – an open letter to the BBC on the Naga Munchetty ruling,’ the post was co-signed by stars including actors Lenny Henry and Adrian Lester, journalists Afua Hirsch, Krishnan Guru-Murphy and Charlie Brinkhurst-Cuff and comedian Gina Yashere.

‘The scope of its effect is already evidenced in the unprecedented number of BAME media figures who have openly and publicly voiced their condemnation on social media.’

David Attenborough working on new documentary (Picture: Getty Images)
David Attenborough is 93-years-old but the iconic nature guru is not slowing down just yet.
No, after the success of his groundbreaking Netflix documentary Our Planet, the much loved star is set to return with another series: Life In Colour.
This time, the father-of-two will look at how animals use colour in their lives through high-tech cameras that were built especially for the programme.
The BBC have revealed that the star aims to show ‘a world of colour normally invisible to human eyes’ – and it sounds truly fascinating.
However, despite fans being eager for the upcoming release, it seems we all need to sit tight as it won’t be dropping on our screens until 2021.
But we’re sure it’ll be worth the wait.
It’s about animals and colour (Picture: Getty Images)
Earlier this month, David was presented with the TV Choice Lifetime Achievement Award, at the prestigious ceremony in London.
The national treasure has entertained millions over his career, which has so far spanned 60 years.
When collecting his gong, the reporter enthused: ‘Indeed. What I do isn’t always entertaining, and sometimes people hear things they don’t like!
‘But this is an honour and a great pleasure.’
He recently had a new research ship named after him (Picture: Getty Images)
TV Choice said of the winner: ‘Still working, learning and making programmes Sir David Attenborough isn’t just a British hero, he’s a global icon.’
This week, David was celebrated once again as a polar research ship was named after him.
The star joined both Prince William and Kate for the naming ceremony in Cammell Laird shipyard in Birkenhead, Merseyside.
He said: ‘It’s no news to any of you that the world is facing great, great problems and the most aware of that are the young people of today, who will inherit this world.
‘Great problems require great research and facts in order to solve them.
‘That’s what this astonishing ship will be here to do, to find out the facts and find the science with which to deal with problems that are facing the world today and will increasingly do so tomorrow.’
Life In Colour is expected to air on BBC Two in 2021, while it’s said Netflix will retain global rights.

The Made In Chelsea star revealed he was still emotional over his exit – following a foot injury.
And it seems he’s still in pain, after he was seen making his way into the BBC studios sporting a cast on his leg.
The 30-year-old appeared on the panel for Strictly spin-off It Takes Two to discuss the second week of the show.
And, when host Zoe Ball revealed her ‘heart was broken’ over the situation, he joked: ‘I cry every morning!’
Same here, hun.
But he isn’t bitter about the way he left the show, and was full of praise for Kelvin’s antics on the dancefloor.

Watching a teaser of the Emmerdale actor and Oti rehearsing for their Waltz – to What The World Needs Now – he couldn’t get over the soap star’s skills.
‘He’s like a professional dancer,’ Jamie exclaimed, while Charles Venn and Sue Pollard nodded in agreement.
Kelvin and Oti have been tipped to win Strictly (Picture: BBC)
Kelvin soared to the top of the leaderboard after his debut last Saturday basically broke the internet – as well as everyone watching on at home.
He managed an impressive 32 out of 40, which isn’t too shabby for someone who ‘had just one hour to decide on the competition’.
Discussing his chances, Ladbrokes spokesperson Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: ‘There’s a long way to go in this series but someone will have to pull something pretty spectacular out of the bag if they’re to pip record-breaking Kelvin Fletcher to the post.’
We can’t wait to see what that might be…

As well as Dylan McDermott, the 46-year-old will be starring alongside a string of A-listers including the likes of Samara Weaving, Maude Apatow, Joe Mantello, Laura Harrier and Jake Picking.
And if that wasn’t enough to get you excited, Darren Criss, Jeremy Pope and David Corenswet are also featuring as well as executive producing the show.
While not much is known about the highly anticipated hit, Murphy did once describe his project as a ‘love letter to the Golden Age of Tinseltown.’
And we’re already sold.
The first season will be set in the 1940s and is expected to take the streaming platform by storm in 2020.

Ryan has also launched his latest project The Politician (Picture: Getty Images)
Until then we have Ryan’s latest work, The Politician to look forward to, which dropped onto Netflix today (27 September).
The plot centres around Payton Hobart, played by Ben Platt, who has known since he was seven-years-old that he would become US President.
Before he can do that however, he must navigate the troubled and treacherous waters of Saint Sebastian High School, be elected student body president, and get into Harvard – all without compromising his own morals.
In addition to Ben Platt, Gwyneth Paltrow is also fronting the cast as Hobart’s mother, who’s ultra-priveledged and hell-bent on getting her son into Harvard.
American Horror Story alum and all-round legend Jessica Lange is playing Payton’s grandmother.
The show also features an impressive lineup, including Zoey Deutch, Lucy Boynton, Bob Balaban, David Corenswet, Julia Schlaepfer, Laura Dreyfuss, Theo Germaine, Bette Midler, January Jones, Dylan McDermott, Rahne Jones and Benjamin Barrett.
Hollywood is set to land on Netflix in 2020 while The Politician is available to stream now.

Gogglebox viewers fume as Ellie and Izzi Warner remain on show (Picture: Channel 4)
Gogglebox viewers were left fuming after Ellie and Izzi Warner returned to the show following their controversial #MeToo comment.
The pair fell under fire last week when discussing what an adult version of the playground game ‘tag’ would consist of.
Ellie admitted that she had recently played a modified version, which involved herself and her friends grabbing each other’s ‘boobs or bum’ and calling out ‘me too’ when caught.
Following her comment, fans called for the pair to be fired, and were shocked to see the duo return for another week.
‘Surprised #Gogglebox deemed it acceptable for that Ellie to come back after her #MeToo joke! Vile human being,’ one angry Twitter user wrote during tonight’s episode.
Another added: ‘Why are Ellie and Izzi still on #Gogglebox after their awful #MeToo comments last week? It’s disgraceful. @Channel4 Get rid of them!’
‘Please get rid of Ellie and Izzy with their over reactions #Gogglebox,’ someone else said while others were in agreement: ‘Hey….. it’s #Gogglebox time, let’s see who the Leeds Sisters upset tonight!’
However, not everyone was bothered by the sisters presence: ‘Glad to see Izzy and Ellie still on after the stupid complaints last week #Gogglebox.’
Izzie also fell into her fans’ bad book last week when she suggested Boris Johnson should have ‘shoved his k**b in her gob to shut her up’ after being questioned by a woman.

The siblings are yet to address their controversial comments, however they have since liked a tweet addressing online trolls.
It read: ‘Awful reading horrible comments about @ellieandizzi on here! Anyone who knows Ellie knows shes not got a bad bone in her body.
‘Saying her comments are wrong yet bullying her online? Prob same people who were tweeting how #OddOneOut was amazing for showing effects of trolling!’
Me Too is the movement against sexual harassment and assault which went viral in 2017 to demonstrate how common sexual assault and harassment is, particularly in the workplace.

Giles Wood and Mary Killen didn’t hold back on Gogglebox (Picture: Channel 4)
Gogglebox’s Giles Wood left Mary Killen shocked as he made a bizarre dig at The Circle’s Katie.
On the latest instalment of the show, they were settled in and watching the series premiere of the new reality TV show.
However, when Circler Katie revealed she was taking part on the show as son Jay, the couple were left baffled.
‘Does this exist in a moral vacuum, Mary?,’ Giles asked. ‘Which reflects the times we live in…’
But he was left seriously unimpressed when Katie showed her wide range of slang, in a bid to seem down with the kids.
‘She’s obviously never heard of the word “milf”,’ he savagely remarked.
Katie might be glad that she’s not on The Circle with Giles Wood… (Picture: Channel 4)
His wife was shocked by his dig, replying: ‘Giles! How do you know?
‘Oh, you’ve been drinking, of course.’
But while Mary was less than impressed, his savagery had some viewers at home in stitches.
Flocking to Twitter, one wrote: ‘Giles hollering she’s never heard of the word milf are what #Gogglebox is all about.’
While a fan said: ‘Word I never ever thought I would hear Giles say “MILF” #Gogglebox.’
‘Giles talking about a milf, I’m DYING! #Gogglebox,’ a Twitter user joked.
The armchair critic’s comments come a week after viewers called for co-stars Ellie and Izzie Warner to be sacked from the show, when they made a controversial #MeToo joke.
Ellie told her sister she had recently played a modified version of the playground game ‘tag’, which involved herself and her pals chasing each other around and grabbing each other’s ‘boobs or bum’ and calling out ‘me too’ when caught.

It premiered on NBC over in the states, and not only has it been absolutely killing it with the ratings – having made the ‘highest daytime debut’ in seven years, but her covers of popular songs have made her undisputed queen.
From Britney to Christina, and Dolly Parton to The Jonas Brothers, there’s seemingly nothing Kelly can’t sing (yes, this is a double negative, but it was needed to underline the point, okay?).
Here are some of her best covers:
‘9 to 5’ by Dolly Parton
This one is a classic, and Dolly Parton is a hard one to nail. Kelly did it effortlessly in a cover ahead of her show’s debut. Unlike the other covers, this one was a pre-recorded video segment, resplendent with Clarkson and co. dressed as construction workers, waitresses and other workers.
It was a bop when Dolly sang it, and a bop when Kelly covered.
‘Ain’t No Other Man’ by Christina Aguilera
Taking on a song by the owner of one of the best vocal chords in the industry is no easy feat.
Kelly wasn’t phased, and she nailed the cover, hitting every high note.
We stan.
‘Think’ by Aretha Franklin
Aretha Franklin is a certified legend, and Think is an undisputed favourite. Kelly’s cover could have butchered the 1968 soul song, but thankfully she didn’t.
‘Til The World Ends’ by Britney Spears
Kelly covered the club banger with a slower, chilled vibe that the audience (and we) were feeling.
Donning in a zebra-print dress, the 37-year-old effortlessly sang Britney’s upbeat number, giving the pop princess a run for her money.
‘Sucker’ by The Jonas Brothers
Part of Kelly’s talent is her ability to change her voice to suit lots of different genres, be it soul, pop or rock. Which is why, if anyone was to cover The Jonas Brothers’ song Sucker successfully, it would be her.
In one of her shows Kelly opted to cover the boys’ comeback single rather than comb through their past hits, and the audience (and viewers) loved her for it.
The Jonas Brothers’ music video features the three of them serenading their respective wives, and Kelly, ever the charmer, serenaded an elderly audience member.
Aww.
‘Chandelier’ by Sia
The year 2014 was when Sia released Chandelier and it was everywhere; on the radio, in shows, bars, clubs…cafes.
It was an ear-worm that managed to find its way to Kelly Clarkson, who gave it the cover it deserved.
‘Bad Romance’ by Lady Gaga
This list can’t be complete without a Lady Gaga tune.
Need we say more?

And it’s even been reported that the 57-year-old has started to work with the team behind the axed series.
A source told the publication: ‘Craig is huge in the US. In terms of being outspoken and encouraging debate he could give Jeremy Kyle a run for his money.
‘ITV have been working on the show over the summer with bosses hoping it will get the green light for next year.’
It’s said he’s already filmed a pilot (Picture: Getty Images)
They went onto claim that a pilot for The Craig Ferguson Show has already been filmed, with the new host chatting to contestants about current issues in the news.
The Jeremy Kyle Show was pulled off air following the tragic death of the guest Steve Dymond.
At the time Carolyn McCall, ITV’s CEO, announced: ‘Given the gravity of recent events we have decided to end production of The Jeremy Kyle Show.
‘The Jeremy Kyle Show has had a loyal audience and has been made by a dedicated production team for 14 years, but now is the right time for the show to end.
‘Everyone at ITV’s thoughts and sympathies are with the family and friends of Steve Dymond.’
Jeremy Kyle was taken off air earlier this year (Picture: ITV / Rex)
Since then it has been announced that Jeremy will be making a return to the network with with The Kyle Files next year, as well as a pilot for another show.
ITV’s director of television, Kevin Lygo told Sky’s Kay Burley: ‘No, I doubt he will [return to the same slot]. I can’t imagine what we would do. I have spoken to him about it, of course, and I think he feels as well that whatever he does next, it shouldn’t be in that 9.30am slot.
‘We have an ongoing commitment to The Kyle Files which is his style of journo thing which will be ready next year sometime.’
He added that Jeremy may also be fronting a new format, which they are currently working on, explaining: ‘We are piloting something with him and we will just have to have a look because he is a consummate broadcaster and it would be absolutely wrong to apportion blame of the show against the presenter of it.
‘We don’t hold him in any bad way. We will look to find another show with him but I think it is unlikely it will go in the same slot.’
Metro.co.uk have reached out to both ITV and Craig’s reps for further comment.
Donning a motion capture suit, the This Morning star was forced to show his best dance moves, including an epic twerk, a terrible robot and a bizarre dab, in a bid to win treats for his co-stars.
And we can never, ever unsee it.
Richard’s fellow Circlers were left having to guess what moves he was whacking out, and he didn’t make it easy for them…
His first task was to attempt a robot, which went as well as you’d expect.
The dance managed to raise eyebrows, with Brooke suggesting ‘Judy’ might not be the 27-year-old nutritionist tutor they’ve all been led to believe she is.
We can never unsee Richard Madeley twerking on The Circle (Picture: Channel 4)
Well she’s definitely right about that, as ‘Judy’ is actually a 63-year-old male TV star…
‘The robot? What kind of 27-year-old doesn’t even do a decent robot? Everyone knows the robot. Judy, I’ve got my eyes on you girl,’ she asked.
His unique version of a dab didn’t go any better, with Woody suggesting it was more like a ‘BO checker’.
Not giving up, Brooke added: ‘There’s no way a 27-year-old wouldn’t know a dab.’
Somehow Richard’s twerking was a surprise hit with his fellow circlers – as well as those watching on at home.
Viewers couldn’t quite believe their eyes, flocking to Twitter to react to the scenes.
‘Richard Madeley twerking is the TV highlight of 2019 #TheCircle,’ one commented.
Georgina was all of us on The Circle (Picture: Channel 4)
‘This is the greatest thing Richard Madeley has ever been a part of #thecircle,’ another said.
‘Richard Madeley dancing is like watching a drunk uncle attempting to dance at midnight at a wedding @C4TheCircle #TheCircle,’ an unimpressed follower commented.
‘OMG Richard dancing has me actually crying. #TheCircle,’ a fan added.

The Circle Viewers left divided after Sy is blocked by Tim and Sammie (Picture: Channel 4)
Sy is the second contestant that has been blocked from The Circle, and we can’t deny we’re disappointed.
The farmer was chosen to leave his apartment by the two influencers Tim and Sammie.
And despite being let down by the news, the reality star appeared excited to return to his beloved pigs.
Sammie announced the decision to the group, by saying: ‘Me and Tim are so grateful to be in this position, thank you all for putting us here.
‘We’ve come to a decision.’
He added: ‘The reason is we feel as though we are not as well connected to this person as the others…’

He said he wouldn’t do anything differently (Picture: Channel 4)
After a tense moment, the fake single mum concluded: ‘The person we have decided to block is Sy.’
The cameras then panned to Sy who held his head in his hands.
‘Ah man, s***,’ he sighed, before adding: ‘Ah f***. I tried. That’s a shame.’
Talking about his experience on the game, he added: ‘I wouldn’t have done anything different, oh well back to farming.’
Tim seemed saddened by his choice when opening up to the camera.

He said: ‘At this moment I’m just thinking this is very bitter, and I still think Jay is playing people.’
And it appears fans of the show agree, as they rushed to Sy’s side on Twitter.
‘Can not believe Sy got blocked!’ one wrote while another added: ‘Thought SY was a decent lad to be fair. Up for a laugh like.’
Someone else added: ‘Aw I actually feel for Sy, bless him. I think he’s just genuinely awkward and didn’t know what else to do.’
Others tweeted The Circle asking if they could vote for Sy to go back in.
However, it seems some viewers thought Tim and Sammie had made the right choice: ‘Sy was the right one to leave.. he didn’t bring much, I think Woody has more to give and want to see the girls more.’
The Circle continues weeknights and Sundays at 10pm on Channel 4.

Viewers were given the opportunity to pick between the 24-year-old, or Bournemouth-based Kevin, and decided to give Ella the opportunity to win the £100,000 prize fund.
Giving us all a glimpse into what we can expect, she told cameras: ‘I’m quite loud, I’m very confident, and I’m a laugh to be honest.
‘First look, I’m not going to be men’s cup of tea… I’m a bit bigger than everyone else. But I feel like, give me two hours, I’ll laugh them into bed.
‘I think I will be popular. I’m funny, kind, I’m a lot more than a f**king pair of t*ts.

Ella entered her flat at the end of the show – and will be playing the game as herself – but we’ll have to wait until Sunday to see how she settles in.
Her entrance comes just moments after Sy found himself blocked by influencers Tim and ‘Sammie’.
And we’re heartbroken for the poor farmer.
‘Sammie’ (aka James) announced their decision to the group, explaining: ‘Me and Tim are so grateful to be in this position, thank you all for putting us here.
Sy has been dumped from The Circle (Picture: Channel 4)
‘We’ve come to a decision… The reason is we feel as though we are not as well connected to this person as the others…’
After a tense moment, the fake single mum concluded: ‘The person we have decided to block is Sy.’
The cameras then panned to Sy who held his head in his hands, admitting it was a ‘shame’ he was having to make his way home.
Talking about his experience on the game, the farmer insisted: ‘I wouldn’t have done anything different, oh well back to farming.’
With Ella coming in to take his place, will she be any more popular with the Circlers?
The Circle continues on Sunday, at 10pm, on Channel 4.

If you didn’t happen to catch the show live, and see Richard Madeley dabbing while pretending to be a 27-year-old woman, this is what else you missed on the show.
Sy blocked by Sammie and Tim

Tim and ‘Sammie’ were voted as influencers again by their fellow Circlers, which meant they were given the opportunity to block one of their fellow players.
And, after a lot of deliberating between the pair, with ‘Sammie’ putting his heart on the line for ‘Jay’ (who is really single mum Katie) they decided to send farmer Sy packing.
‘Sammie’ (aka James) announced their decision in the Circle chat, telling the group: ‘We’ve come to a decision… The reason is we feel as though we are not as well connected to this person as the others…

Admitting it was a ‘shame’ he was having to make his way home, the farmer insisted: ‘I wouldn’t have done anything different…
‘Oh well back to farming.’
But not before he decided to stop in on Tim for a chin-wag, and scare cat Bey at the same time.
Getting right to the point, he asked the former monk why they chose to block him, with Tim explaining his love of farming got in the way of anyone getting to know him.
Harsh but kind of true…

Richard Madeley twerks

But who knew the TV presenter could twerk like the best of them?
Unfortunately, Brooke managed to smell a little rat with the competition, and suggested ‘Judy’ might not be the 27-year-old nutritionist tutor they’ve all been led to believe she is.
Well she’s definitely right about that…
Judging her co-star’s dancing skills, she remarked: ‘The robot? What kind of 27-year-old doesn’t even do a decent robot? Everyone knows the robot. Judy, I’ve got my eyes on you girl.’
Is the game up for Richard?
Woody opens up about dyslexia
Woody opened up about his battle with dyslexia in a private chat with ‘Sammie’, after he was left questioning why he was so unpopular with his co-stars.
The teenager started messaging the single mum, but when he ignored all ‘her’ chat about son Charlie, explained that he sometimes struggles to come across in the best way.
‘No wonder I’m last, I deserve that big fat seven,’ he said to himself, before telling ‘Sammie’: ‘I’ve been very wrapped up in learning the system and found it hard to get myself across.

‘I’m quite dyslexic and sometimes get very stressed out.’
‘I’m really sorry to hear about the dyslexia, and I wish you would’ve told me sooner because then I would’ve understood,’ ‘Sammie’ replied.
‘You do seem like a lovely lad and it would be great to have you as a little brother figure in here.’
Has a new friendship blossomed in The Circle?

Dan Walker has been accused of being partly to blame for Naga Munchetty’s comments (Picture: BBC)
The BBC has accused Naga Munchetty’s BBC Breakfast co-star Dan Walker of being partly to blame for the presenter’s decision to comment on President Donald Trump and racism.
As the corporation continues to fight to rein in the ongoing crisis, Walker was accused by David Jordan, the BBC’s director of editorial policy and standards, of not being ‘helpful’ with his own comments.
‘It could be said that Dan Walker kind of led Naga Munchetty to the conclusion that she eventually made,’ Jordan said on Friday.
‘The ECU ruled that while Ms Munchetty was entitled to give a personal response to the phrase “go back to your own country” as it was rooted in her own experience, overall her comments went beyond what the guidelines allow for,’ a spokesperson said.

However, the move has been widely condemned, with #IStandWithNaga trending on Twitter while figures from across the media lent their support to the broadcaster.
Now Jordan has added that ‘Dan Walker’s contribution was not, as it were, helpful in the context’.
‘It could be said that Dan Walker kind of led Naga Munchetty to the conclusion that she eventually made,’ he added.
‘I don’t think we’ve singled anyone out. I’m afraid the Executive Complaints Unit deals with the complaints it gets, so some people say why isn’t Dan Walker being singled out in the same way,’ he continued.
‘The simple fact is we haven’t had a complaint.
‘They are obliged to deal with the complaints they have, not the complaints they might like to have.’

Titled ‘You can’t be “impartial” about racism – an open letter to the BBC on the Naga Munchetty ruling,’ the post is co-signed by stars including actors Lenny Henry and Adrian Lester, journalists Afua Hirsch, Krishnan Guru-Murphy and Charlie Brinkhurst-Cuff and comedian Gina Yashere.
After teasing the possibility of a movie shortly following its cancellation, Sherrie has since confirmed a movie is on the cards with filming kicking off in 2020.
Speaking to The Sun, Sherrie said: ‘I know it’s quite sad that Benidorm is gone but we are going to make a film and I assume there will be another tour. Benidorm will never die.
‘We’ll make it next year. We used to go out at the beginning of March and finish at the end of July and a film will only take eight weeks so it’ll be good.
‘It’s such a wonderful show and I love Joyce Temple Savage. I love everyone in it – we all keep in touch.’

Following its cancellation, the show hit the road for a special live tour which wrapped in April earlier this year.
It also means Benidorm joins the growing trend of British TV shows turning into movies, following the likes of The Inbetweeners, Downton Abbey, and, er, Mrs Brown’s Boys.
If you’re craving more Benidorm-style humour, creator Derren Litten has released new show Scarborough which is available on BBC iPlayer.
‘You could almost say that Aron Eisenberg was born to play this role, if nothing else he gave us all a wonderful gift, Nog,’ shared Emma Gazaway who created the petition.
‘Nog had, by far, the most interesting character arch [sic] in star Star Trek DS9, if not the whole Canon Trek universe.
‘We grew with him, and he with us. His advancement to an officer, as the first Ferengi in Starfleet on its own deserves recognition in the new series.
‘The friendship and joy that Aron himself brought us, deserves even more. Thank you Aron, thank you Nog. We love you.’

Eisenberg played Nog, a Ferengi, on the Star Trek spin-off Deep Space Nine between 1993 and 1999.
His wife confirmed his passing in a statement on Facebook, paying tribute to the actor, saying: ‘I love him dearly and will miss him eternally.’
She wrote: ‘It is with extreme regret and sadness to announce that my love and best friend, Aron Eisenberg, passed away earlier today.
‘He was an intelligent, humble, funny, emphatic soul. He sought to live his life with integrity and truth.’

She added: ‘He was so driven to put the best he had into whatever work was put before him.
‘He lived his life with such vigor and passion.’
Malissa explained that they had only got married recently, and planned to celebrate with their family and friends.’
CBS released the first trailer for new series Star Trek: Picard back in May, giving fans a sneaky glimpse at Patrick Stewart as an ominous voice begins to question why he left Starfleet.
The voice says: ’15 years ago today, you led us out of the darkness. You commanded the greatest rescue armada in history, then the unimaginable.
‘What did that cost you? Your faith. Your faith in us. Your faith in yourself. Tell us, why did you leave Starfleet Admiral?’
