Shirley Ballas was getting her box ticked on the show (Picture: BBC)
Shirley Ballas tried to get her flirt on Strictly Come Dancing on Saturday as she gave celebrity contestant Karim Zeroual some rousing feedback.
Karim and his partner Amy Dowden performed a foxtrot to Frank Sinatra’s The Way You Look Tonight.
Their performance went down a storm with the pair topping the Week Two leaderboard with 32 points from the judges.
Karim’s dancing went down very well with judge Shirley, who praised the presenter for ‘ticking her box’.
Host Tess Daly asked Shirley if the TV presenter was ‘ticking your boxes’.
Getting to her feet, she teased: ‘Oh my darling you are ticking my boxes’ while seemingly moving her hand towards her crotch. Cue laughter.
Her fellow judges Motsi Mabuse and Bruno Tonioli got the giggles, and Shirley appeared to be a bit embarrassed by the comment, later placing her head in her hands.
Karim seemed to enjoy the compliment (Picture: BBC)
Karim didn’t seem to mind either, laughing along with the rest of the studio.
Bruno was also full of praise, telling Karim: ‘Week two, exceptional. You’re not just elegant, you have an agile physicality. A bit like a young Gene Kelly and I mean it.’
Motsi said: ‘I thought that was Hollywood, pure class, quality, on top of the board kind of dancing. That was magnificent. Keep it up.’
Meanwhile Craig admitted the dance was so beautiful he was ‘going to cry’.
‘You, dear boy, are definitely one to watch. Brilliant,’ he added.
Hopefully Karim’s journey on the show can continue, as one celebrity will be sent home for the first time this series during the results show.
Saturday’s show was plagued with signal issues as viewers complained on social media that their TV kept cutting out.
Apologising on air, Tess said: ‘We do apologise to any viewers there who may have experienced any transmission issues. Very sorry, we are a live show.’
Strictly Come Dancing continues tonight at 7.15pm on BBC One.

While week two of the show was playing out live on TV, a message was sent from Bruno’s official Twitter asking fans what they thought of the episode.
The now-deleted tweet read: ‘Phew!! What a show tonight and what did you think of the performance and comments tonight…’
In response to the post, likely sent in error by Team Bruno, viewers kindly asked the judge to wait until the episode was over.
‘Still watching it Bruno, give us a chance,’ one joked.
Another said: ‘It’s not over yet, thought it was a live show?’
‘Not finished yet so can’t comment,’ read a further reply.
A further tweet was sent later on (at the correct time) welcoming his new followers on Twitter.
(Picture: Twitter)
Bruno posted: ‘Massive thank you for all your comments tonight will reply to all – welcome to all my new followers (where have you been!)’.
And he was right back to work giving criticism short shrift, responding to a fan griping that Strictly had become ‘the Bruno show’.
The judge replied: ‘I wish it was the Bruno show’.
One follower complained: ‘Will you please stop waving your arms about’, and Bruno fired back a simple: ‘No’.
Good to hear – we wouldn’t want him to.
Saturday night’s show ended with TV presenter Karim Zeroual at the top of the leaderboard for his foxtrot with professional partner Amy Dowden.
Bruno was full of praise, telling Karim: ‘Week two, exceptional. You’re not just elegant, you have an agile physicality. A bit like a young Gene Kelly and I mean it.’

Britain’s Got Talent fans think they’ve worked out how magician Ben Hart performed his disappearing £20 note trick on The Champions.
Ben, 28, returned to the Britain’s Got Talent stage to perform for judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams.
After speaking briefly about what magic means to him, he showed off a trick with a £20 note he asked Amanda to sign.
Ben, who finished third on the show earlier this year, folded it into a butterfly and made it float between his hands and around the stage which was dotted with lampposts.
He later folded the note again and pushed it inside his closed fist, opening his fingers to reveal that it had vanished.
Of course he had to give Amanda her money back, and to everyone’s surprise the note turned up inside a light bulb in one of the lampposts.
While no one could explain how it turned up there, some viewers on Twitter claimed they have figured out how the money vanished.

A few claimed that Ben had used a ‘plastic thumb’ pushing the note inside it, while one said they ‘nearly dozed off’ watching his performance.
Simon was equally unimpressed with Ben’s effort and gave him some harsh feedback, accusing him of ‘playing it safe’.
‘Let me be brutally honest with you Ben. When you are competing with the rest of the world, having gone through the show this year, you’ve got to up your game, you didn’t in my opinion,’ he said.
‘In fact, it was not as good as what you did I think a few months ago. You have amazing imagination Ben, for whatever reason you played it safe tonight.

‘I’m not voting but I don’t think that’s enough to get you through to the final.’
But the other judges strongly disagreed with Simon, as David said: ‘What a load of absolute rubbish. The thing that makes him so brilliant is he’s so subtle and he draws you in. He’s not coming out singing and dancing and kicking his legs with fireworks attached to his ankles, he draws you in because he’s a true artist.
‘He made me believe in magic and I don’t even like magic that much. But I love this guy.’
Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions continues Saturday at 8.30pm on ITV.

Richard is about to stir up trouble as his time on The Circle comes to an end (Picture: Channel 4)
In the meantime he gets an insight into what the gang really think of him, in a game called ‘Dick Pics’ – which as you can guess, is about guessing famous Richards.
(If you thought it was something dirty, shame on you.)
When Richard’s face comes up, the rest of the gang struggles to figure out who exactly he is…with Georgina thinking that him and Judy were actually puppets.
Will he be able to rise to the challenge?
Richard Madeley has to make the rest of the team turn against Judy (Picture: Channel 4)
Richard has definitely been keeping himself busy while on the show – with everyone in agreement him twerking in a virtual reality capture suit possibly one of the best highlights of 2019.
Despite worries from fans when he first joined, it seems that everyone in the Circle is oblivious to the idea that Judy isn’t who she said she is – so they’re about to get a shock when his true identity is revealed.
Guess we’ll find out soon enough.
The Circle continues tonight at 10pm on Channel 4.

Dancing On Ice 2020 has added magician Ben Hanlin to the line up.
Ben is the tenth celebrity revealed to be taking to the ice when the new series kicks off.
He will compete against eleven other famous faces in a bid to lift the Dancing On Ice trophy.
The 33-year-old joins Michael Barrymore, Maura Higgins, Kevin Kilbane, Lucrezia Millarini, H, Lisa George, Perri Kiely, Libby Clegg MBE and Joe Swash in the class of 2020.
On joining the show, Ben said: ‘Can I ice skate? Barely. But I did say to the producers “if I’m going to do this, can I try to do magic on ice?”
‘I will try and attempt to put magic into the show if I can. We start tomorrow! On the ice for the very first time.’
Ben is known for his daring magic stunts and teamed up with former The Only Way Is Essex star Joey Essex for a Halloween special last year called Ben Hanlin’s Live and Deadly: Drowned.

The pair took part in a dangerous underwater stunt live on TV which saw the guys chained together and shackled to the floor inside a tank that slowly filled with water.
They were in training for the performance for five days with Joey confessing at the time he ‘nearly died’ when the water filled up too quickly.
He also fronted a TV show called Tricked in 2013, performing for celebrities and members of the public alike.
In the series, he pranked boy band Blue into believing that he and member Simon Webbe were in a caravan that rolled off the edge of a cliff.
Dancing On Ice will return with a new look judging line up after Jason Gardiner quit earlier this year.
He was replaced by actor John Barrowman who joins Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean and Ashley Banjo on the panel.
This Morning duo Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby return as hosts.
Dancing On Ice returns to ITV in the new year.

Ben thinks YouTubers deserve more credit as modern day celebs (Picture: PA, Twitter)
YouTuber Saffron Barker has stormed Strictly Come Dancing for the past two weeks – with her fellow social media stars backing her all the way.
Ben Phillips, who frequently appears in pranks with his brother Elliot, reckons that for competitions such as I’m a Celeb, Strictly and Dancing on Ice, show bosses have been missing a trick by not tapping into social celebs sooner.
Now, following the success of Joe Sugg in the 2018 series of Strictly, Ben reckons it’s the perfect opportunity for others to embrace it – and even reckons Saffron has what it takes to win this year’s series.
Speaking exclusively to Metro.co.uk, Ben said: ‘So I know Joe Sugg did it last time but I feel like Saff’s a little more down with the kids, she’s more…I don’t know how to explain it. She’s more on trend with brands and YouTube in general.’
‘At the moment Strictly’s going for social media stars, which is good because they’re one of the first shows to recognise the power of social media stars and how it can completely turn it around,’ he continued.
‘It’s proven itself and the social media stars who are, let’s say more evolved in the market than Love Island stars, who you know, have 50-100 thousand followers.
‘These people [YouTubers] are already in their millions and won the hearts of people. So it’s a ten times better move if you ask me, full stop.’
But despite a secured fan based bringing in ratings and votes every week, Ben added that there was more to it than meets the eye – and it doesn’t guarantee a win.
‘Obviously, there’s millions in a dedicated fan base,’ he added. ‘However I think it’s down to Strictly and whoever they’re taking on board.
‘I guess you could say that, again, flicking back over the summer like Love Island, you have Tommy and Molly-Mae who were the favourites to win, but didn’t win, even though he’s Tyson Fury’s brother – still didn’t win.’
Tommy and Molly didn’t come with the fanbase bosses assumed they would (Picture: Rex)
However, he added that unlike Love Island, the celebs involved are more in control with their own social media sites and plugs for getting votes every week. Which, if you’re reaching out to millions with a click of a button, could give you an advantage over ‘traditional’ celebrities who might not have that.
That’s before new fans are made by their presence on the show.
‘Obviously more viewers can come to the show and decide not to like Saff. They could’ve still decided not to like Joe,’ he conceded. ‘But at the same time, it’s down to the creators or the influencer how much they want to push their social media to the limit, because they can burn themselves out as well.
‘Maybe they don’t even like Strictly, who knows? They’d watch it though obviously, because they like her.’
Ben’s comments come as the show gets ready to say goodbye to the first celebrity tonight – with James Cracknell in the danger zone after falling to the bottom of the leaderboard.
Will Ben’s predictions come true, keeping Saffron and partner AJ Pritchard around for another week? Guess you’ll have to tune in to find out.
Strictly Come Dancing continues tonight at 7.15pm on BBC One.

James Cracknell underwent ‘rigorous mental health tests’ before being cleared to dance on Strictly (Picture: BBC)
James Cracknell was ‘tested more psychologically’ than other Strictly Come Dancing contestants before being allowed to compete on the show.
The 47-year-old as involved in a horrific bike crash in 2010, where he was hit by a truck in Arizona, US.
He suffered a serious injury to the frontal lobe of his brain which affected his personality and memory.
He revealed to the Mail on Sunday that he needed further tests ‘to make sure that I was OK to go on’.
James added: ‘They had to check I was well enough and able to cope with the hours that are required to take part, and also that I would be mentally strong enough to deal with the judges who, let’s face it, would have no choice but to judge me fairly and that might not always be nice.
‘I know I was tested more psychologically than some others, which I am grateful to Strictly for.’
James is dancing with professional dancer Luba Mushtuk on the show.
The pair previously appeared on This Morning to talk about their training together.

He explained: ‘Definitely in terms of how other people perceive you, and therefore you almost actually back off the social interactions.
‘It also questions was that behaviour me or is that behaviour related to the accident? Over time, that’s one of the reasons why I went back to study at the University of Cambridge last year, to show I can do that, to show I can do the boat race, and actually this is another way of learning a routine which happens most the time.’
On Saturday he and Luba took to the floor to perform a jive to Tutti Frutti by Little Richard.
James told Metro.co.uk: ‘We’re ripping each other apart but in a very nice way.’
Strictly Come Dancing airs tonight at 7.15pm on BBC One.

She exclusively told Metro.co.uk: ‘I actually started off daily vlogging so I used to film my life everyday and I shared so much, and that just happened so gradually and naturally because I started YouTube from blogging.
‘I did share so much. Looking back on it, I do think I kind of shared a little bit too much but at the same time, I don’t regret it because there are so many memories as well.’
Saffron pointed out: ‘Now, I’ve gotten a little bit older and I can do other things, I feel like it’s nice to have a bit of a personal life as well as the vlogging.’

Richard Madeley’s stint on The Circle gets even more epic tonight as he discovers the aubergine emoji for the first time and, judging by his reaction, has clearly never sent one.
But poor Richard is clearly not down with the millennial age as he struggled to correctly identify the aubergine emoji, typically used in saucy messages.
When confronted with the suspiciously-shaped vegetable, Richard worried about his lack of emoji knowledge and wondered: ‘What’s that, marrow, courgette, I should have done emoji homework?’
Oh, bless. This endearing yet somewhat awkward.
As the game went on, Richard managed to identify a few well-known Dicks – from Van Dyke to spotted – while he also guessed Cressida from Georgina describing a police woman.
Richard, who is pretending to be a 27-year-old woman named Judy, might have his cover blown though as Woody later wonders if ‘Judy is a very intelligent man claiming to be a girl’.
DAILY DROP! Can the Players identify Richard in a game of Dick Pics? 👀
Those cheeky Circle producers had a little fun when it came to Richard’s turn as he got himself – Richard Madeley.
‘When he’s not serving up breakfast he’s got his face stuck in a book,’ read the description.
After successfully catfishing his fellow contestants so far, Richard is played at his own game in a game of popularity.
The TV star is given 24 hours to get the seven other players to turn against him and get him blocked.
Although, it could be a little easier said than done though – considering Woody is already pretty infatuated with the newcomer, and Tim literally couldn’t hate anyone.
The Circle continues tonight at 10pm on Channel 4.

Strictly Come Dancing star Oti Mabuse took centre stage during the professional group dance of this series, and it was absolutely sizzling.
Opening Sunday night’s show, the celebrity dancers took a backseat to allow the pro dancers to them how it’s truly done and Oti, 29, led the way with the spotlight focused firmly on her.
Dressed in a hot pink dress with frills, Oti sashayed around with the male pro dancers including Graziano Di Prima, Giovanni Pernice and AJ Pritchard, to a spicy version of Daniel Bedingfield’s Gotta Get Thru This.
It’s safe to say Oti firmly stole the show and blew viewers away.
‘OMG! The passion is real. Who knew Daniel Bedingfield’s If Only I Could Get Through This was a flamenco Carmen vibe! Bravo Ole,’ one Strictly viewer wrote.
One particularly impressed viewer added: ‘Is it just me or was that one of the best, most intense pro dances in years @bbcstrictly?? I was totally enthralled, which is quite something atm with my attention span right now!’
An Oti superfan chimed in: ‘Oti should lead every group dance.’
That’s quite a flamenco (Picture: BBC One)
Applauding all the professional dancers, another said: ‘WOW! What an incredible dance by the @StrictlyPros @OtiMabuse @gorkamarquez1 @GrazianoDiPrima.’
Oti later reunited with her dance partner Kelvin Fletcher and confirmed they will dance to a Mary Poppins song next Saturday for movie week.
Earning oohs and aahs from the audience, Kelvin revealed: ‘I’ve got a three-year-old daughter and that soundtrack is on in our house constantly so it means a lot to me.’
While Sunday night’s episode started with a bang, it’ll end in tears for one dance couple due to the first elimination of the series.
Strictly Come Dancing continues Saturday on BBC1 at 6:40pm.

James Cracknell has become the first star to be eliminated from this year’s competition (Picture: BBC)
James Cracknell OBE has become the first celebrity to be eliminated from this year’s Strictly competition.
The champion rower found himself at the bottom of the leaderboard for the past two weeks and unfortunately for him and partner Luba Mushtuk, the viewing public didn’t do enough to save them.
Speaking to Tess Daly as it was announced he was going home, James said: ‘I definitely enjoyed the last three days of the last week as I got to grips with the steps and started to enjoy it.
‘I’m enjoying it anyway, the luxury of being with someone so good and learning off them,’ he added of Luba.
‘I’m a way better dancer than I was two weeks ago. Luba’s been amazing with being so patient with a couple of left feet.’
Luba, who was competing for the first time this year, said: ‘I would like to say a huge thank you with all my heart to make this journey so amazing. You inspired me every day and I hope you inspire many more other people to start dancing.’
James was placed in the dance-off against footballer David James, having to perform his Jive to Tutti Frutti by Little Richard again to try and keep his spot in the show.
David performed his Paso Doble to Spanish Gypsy by Espana Cani once again with Nadiya Bychkova – and the judges had to make the final call over who had to go home.
Unfortunately for James, the vote was unanimously in David’s favour, and he was sent packing after only one week.
‘Well for me in that dance off one couple improved beyond compare and that couple is the couple I would like to save, David and Nadiya,’ Craig Revel Horwood declared.
Motsi Mabuse also agreed that the couple’s second performance was stronger than their first attempt.
‘I have to save the couple that really showed to me how you apply and you work on the comments of the judges and deliver a performance that is almost night and day from one day to the other,’ Bruno said, also saving David and Nadiya.
As a result, Shirley’s choice was unnecessary, but when prompted she agreed she would’ve also chosen to save them.
Next week is Movie Week for the remaining dancers – so let’s see what films they’ll be taking inspo from this year.
Strictly Come Dancing returns next Saturday at 6.40pm on BBC One.

A contestant on the BBC hit-show The Apprentice has reportedly leaked they’re going to be in the final, despite the premiere not even airing yet.
According to The Sun, one unnamed contestant breached their contract by revealing to their friends that they made it into the final two.
The identity of the contestant is not yet widely known, as BBC bosses hope no spoilers are revealed before the live finale scheduled for December.
‘This is a worst nightmare for bosses as they try and build suspense before the first show airs on Wednesday,’ a source told The Sun.
‘The contestant has seriously annoyed a lot of people by not keeping this to themselves. You would have thought this will be weighing heavily on Lord Sugar’s mind when he ultimately decides who’s hired in the final.’
The Apprentice boardroom scenes actually last five hours (Picture: PA)
All 12 episodes have now been filmed and are ready to go for the premiere on Wednesday.
But if news of the finalist gains traction on social media, producers of the show may have to try to re-shoot some of the series to keep the ending a secret.
The full line-up for The Apprentice was revealed last week, as well as the fact the first episode was filmed in Cape Town, South Africa.
In the premiere episode, 16 candidates will be tasked with creating, setting up, and running bespoke tours around the outskirts of Cape Town – ranging from Safari tours to Vineyard excursions.
The opening episode will also run for an extended length, expanding by five minutes to a total runtime of 64 minutes for a special bumper premiere.
Contestants include athletes, a bakery owner and a librarian – all playing for the £250,000 prize money.
The BBC was approached by Metro.co.uk for comment but they declined.

World On Fire got off to a fiery start (Picture: BBC)
World on Fire – aka the newest TV show to keep us stuck to our sofas – got off with a bang last night and we’re ready to see just how Lois (Julia Brown), Nancy (Helen Hunt) and Douglas (Sean Bean) deal with the breakout of World War II.
Dealing with the border of Poland and Germany, as well as what’s going on in the UK, it’s clear that things are going to get worse before they get better.
But the show also left a lot unanswered, and ahead of episode two, there’s a lot we want to see happen.
Here’s five things we want to find out in the next episode….
Harry has a lot of explaining to do (Picture: BBC)
What’s going on with Douglas’ son/Lois’s brother?
Douglas’s son seems to have made quite the reputation for himself as a troublemaker and a rebel – which is just fine by his family but doesn’t sit particularly well with the police or anyone else around him.
At the beginning to the episode, as Douglas went to pick up Lois from the jail, the policeman claims that she is ‘going down the same route as his son’.
What exactly is he up to though?
He’s a pretty aloof guy, literally jumping in and out of windows at night, and Lois and Douglas seem to be letting him get on with it, but to what end?
Nancy is determined to see it through in the heart of war (Picture: BBC)
Is there more to Nancy and Webster than meets the eye?
Webster (Brian J Smith) is living the life in Paris at a swing club despite Nancy telling him not to – and in a telling moment she gazes at his photo about how similar they are that they’re willing to live in a war zone rather than return to America.
It’s a time of war and a dangerous time in Europe, but Nancy’s affection for Webster papers to be stemming from something slightly different.
Is there more to their close bong that we’ve been let on to.
What is Robina’s problem with Lois?
Robina (Lesley Manville) is not the nicest of people is she? An elitist with a sympathy for fascist leader Oswald Mosley (the real one, not the Sam Claflin Peaky Blinders one), she was never going to get on with Lois.
But for some reason she seems to have taken quite the exception to Lois, and not even in a ‘you’re taking my son from me’ kind of mother-in-law way.
Is she going to prove to be a bigger problem than just being a plain old snob?
Gregor’s loss could be the least of his problem as he confronts German troops(Picture: BBC)
What is Gregor going to do now he’s lost his father?
Poor Gregor (Mateusz Wieclawek), he was out of his depth protecting the border and despite his father’s best efforts to teach him the ways of being a soldier, he’s just not cut out for it.
But as Danzig fell, and Gregor was forced to watch his father be killed by German soldiers in front of him despite his search for peace, that’s enough to change anyone.
What is going to happen to him now and what does he plan to do?
What is Lois going to do when she finds out Harry’s married?
Despite telling him to move on, Lois was clutching on to the letters Harry sent her after he declared his love for her – that is, until they stopped.
So Harry is going to have some explaining to do when he returns home with a polish wife, Kasia (Zofia Wichlaz).
As well as that, how is he going to feel when he sees Lois again?
Kasia made a fateful decision that could seal her fate in Poland (Picture: BBC)
Will Kasia and Harry reunite?
Kasia made a fatal decision to stay in Poland at the end of the episode, and Harry was left devastated as he was trapped on the train with her brother heading to England.
Poland is now a war zone and the chances of survival are dwindling – will Kasia be able to look after her mother and what will the future hold for her while she’s there?
Is Douglas going to die?
As a peacekeeper in a time of war, it doesn’t bode well for Douglas, whose ideals just can’t be kept when bombs are being dropped around him.
Plus it’s Sean Bean, and he has a real habit of ending up being killed off in such a way that he sparks a chain reaction that could effect everything.
Will Webster and the saxophone player be found out?
The pair’s sexual chemistry is undeniable and while Webster may be fighting it, it seems only a matter of time before the pair give in to their feelings.
Webster is arrogant at the idea that he’s safe in Paris, but those around him are not sure of that at all, and he’s not heeding their warning.
World On Fire continues next Sunday at 9pm on BBC One.

Maybe Tim will think twice about wearing a suit on the treadmill (Picture: Channel 4)
The Circle star Tim already stole the nation’s heart when he enjoyed a run on the treadmill wearing the most adorable suit in tonight’s episode – but then he tripped and we all melted.
It all unfolded when Tim, 58, was brought into a group chat with Jay and Sammie on Sunday night’s episode, as he tried to decipher whether he was being catfished or not.
The triangle was understandably confusing so it’s no surprise that Tim got distracted and tripped up while trying to send messages, even dropping his book as he slid backwards off the treadmill.
‘Oh bugger,’ he exclaimed before popping himself back on the machine.
Oh bless.
Viewers were both entertained by and concerned about the professor and took to Twitter in their droves to share their soft spot for Tim.
‘Tim dropping his book and falling off the treadmill i’m crying,’ one commented.
Sharing a similar reaction, another wrote: ‘TIM DROPPING HIS BOOK ON THE RUNNING MACHINE I JUST SPAT MY TEA.’
Concerned about Tim’s attire for the workout, another viewer wondered: ‘W-Why is he treadmilling with a suit on?! This is wrong!’
Another was equally worried about Tim’s health and safety practices and weighed in: ‘Tim is a LEGEND!!!!!!! #TheCircle But maybe should get off the treadmill before changing his glasses!’
Clearly amused by the incident, another said: ‘Tim tripping on the treadmill has made my Sunday.’
Guessing the inspiration for Tim’s vintage look, another fan tweeted: ‘Tim on a treadmill in a full Wind in the Willows suit is an absolute MOOD.’
Oh, Tim (Picture: Channel 4)
And pretty much summing up all our feelings, another said: ‘Tim is so precious I actually love him.’
Someone get the man some jogging pants.
During his conversation with Jay and Sammie, Tim theorised: ‘I think Jay’s mum is the person I’m talking to, I think Jay is a boy.
‘I think Jay is too sensitive and he knows exactly how to play all these girls.’
‘Sammie’ then replied: ‘Yeah that is my mum Tim, she’s my best mate. She’s a total legend, dunno where I’d be without her.’
Anyone else confused? No wonder Tim fell off the treadmill.

Woody was nervous to reveal his bisexuality (Picture: Channel 4)
The Circle’s Woody Cook decided to open up about his bisexuality for the first time on the show, during a heartfelt conversation with Georgina.
The 18-year-old, who is the son of Zoe Ball and Fatboy Slim, felt comfortable enough to discuss his sexuality with Georgina as they bonded during a late night chat.
‘Hey Georgina, feeling pretty crap from yesterday. Was dying to speak to you. I feel like from the beginning we’d get along well because you always make me laugh and we’re sort of in the same boat being the youngest on The Circle,’ Woody said.
The teen then nervously awaited Georgina’s response but he had nothing to worry about as the feeling was mutual.
Georgina replied: ‘Yeah I knew we’d get on being the youngest, I feel like you’re my cheeky younger brother. Have you got your eye on anyone?’
He then revealed casually: ‘Being bisexual on The Circle, I thought I was going to have loads of chat. But in actuality, being 18 scared everyone away. I’m embarrassed to say I flirted a bit with Judy but I don’t think it went down the best.’
Georgina was visibly shocked but admitted Woody’s sexuality was ‘not a big thing’.

‘He didn’t actually have to just open up the way he has so I don’t want to make a big thing of it because it’s not a big thing at all,’ she explained.
When she asked Woody for his coming out story, he was more than happy to oblige and revealed: ‘It’s a funny story really, I was at a party and was chatting to a girl who was gay and I was trying to get with.
‘I told them I was bi to impress them. The next day I woke up and realised drunk Woody was telling the truth.’
Georgina then joked: ‘You know what they say, drunk words, sober thoughts.’
Clearly relieved at having revealed his bisexuality to another Circle contestant for the first time, Woody later said: ‘I’m glad I sent that message because I needed to get it off my chest.’
The bonding moment marked the start of a blossoming friendship between Georgina and Woody, as she admitted: ‘He’s quite a cool character. I really don’t think I’ll be voting him bottom anymore. He seems interesting.’
The Circle continues weeknights on Channel 4 at 10pm.

There will be four other groups competing as well, and some members include Ben Foden, Jeremy Edwards, and CBBC’s Max and Harvey.
The brand-new take isn’t what we’re used to but we can’t wait to watch these celebrities step out of their comfort zone.
Kevin McHale already knows what he’s doing so we might as well give up (Picture: The X Factor/ITV)
Love Actually’s Olivia Olson is here to win (Picture: The X Factor/ITV)
That’s not all, reality star Megan McKenna, Glee’s Kevin McHale and EastEnder’s Jonny Labey will be pitted against each other in the Unders in the most unusual (in our eyes at least) showdown this year
As for the Overs?
We can expect journalist Martin Bashir, actress Victoria Ekanoye and even talk show host Ricki Lake.
Not going to lie, we’re convinced the entire show will consist of the contestants giggling away while Simon Cowell tries to get everyone under control.
Nicole Scherzinger and Louis Walsh are returning as judges this year along with Dermot O’Leary as host, so at least something is familiar.
The series is likely to be followed by a second X Factor series, X Factor All Stars – in which some of the most familiar faces from the previous X Factors return to battle it out.
‘The time feels right, and it will be a huge change,’ Simon Cowell previously told The Sun.
‘We haven’t exactly confirmed the dates or the order of the shows, but essentially there are going to be two versions of X Factor running this year. I think it’s going to be huge, it’s the best I’ve felt about this show in ages.’

Who was the first to be given the boot? (Picture: BBC/BBC/PA)
We’ve lost our first Strictly Come Dancing contestant of the series – so if you haven’t watch Sunday night’s episode yet, waltz right away.
Well, technically it’s the second afterJamie Laing’s injury – but the first to be voted off.
So who left Strictly?
Who was voted off Strictly last night?
James Cracknell OBE is the first celebrity to depart the dance floor in Strictly 2019.
When asked by Tess about her time on the show, James said: ‘Definitely enjoyed the last three days of the last week as I got to grips with the steps and started to enjoy it.’
He went on to say that he’s ‘a way better dancer than [he] was two weeks ago.’
He called his dance partner Luba Mushtuk ‘amazing’ and thanked her for being ‘so patient with a couple of left feet.’
Who was in the bottom two?
Cracknell went up against ex-England goalie David James.
Both couples performed their same routines from Saturday night; James and Luba jiving to Tutti Fruitti by Little Richard and David and dance partner Nadiya Bychkova performed their Paso Doble.
It was a clean sweep to save David with all four judges choosing to save him.
Craig Revel Horwood said that the couple ‘improved beyond compare’ and Motsi Mabuse felt it was a ‘stronger performance, stronger intention.’
Head Judge Shirley Ballas didn’t have to vote as Bruno had already voted to save David too, but she said she would’ve voted to keep him too.
Catch the remaining 14 couples next Saturday from 7.10pm on BBC One.
‘There’s nothing wrong that!’ said Piers. ‘There’s nothing wrong with what she said!
‘She didn’t even call Trump a racist, she just said if you say that kind of thing, it has a history of racism to it and you’ve got to be very careful about what you say.’
GMB joined the campaign for the BBC to overturn their decision against Naga Munchetty (Picture: ITV)
Susanna agreed and said it was ‘extraordinary’ that in a statement, the standards board that upheld the complaint agreed that Trump’s comment was racist.
They defended that Naga shouldn’t have ‘discussed Trump’s motivations’ behind the tweet as that breached impartiality.
Speaking directly about the explanation of the complaint, and the man behind the statement, he said: ‘Let me get this straight, Mr Jordan, from the weird, sinister, head of Editorial Standards.
‘You called it a racist comment! Are you going to uphold a complaint against yourself? If you call it a racist comment and one of your presenters call it a racist comment, it’s probably a racist comment isn’t it?’
Naga highlighted the underlying racism of the comment from Trump on air (Picture: BBC)
‘I’d last about three minutes at the BBC,’ he added. ‘Can you imagine being straight-jacketed in that kind of environment?’
Piers and Susanna’s moment of solidarity with their fellow journalist comes as a string of stars have come out to defend Naga and demand BBC rethink the complaint being upheld.
In a statement released by BBC’s Executive Complaints Unit, it was stated that while Trump’s comments were ‘widely condemned as racist’ and Naga was ‘perfectly entitled to give a personal response’, but she crossed a line when talking about Trump directly.
‘Our editorial guidelines do not allow for journalists to then give their opinions about the individual making the remarks or their motives for doing so – in this case President Trump – and it was for this reason that the complaint was partially upheld,’ they wrote.
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays from 6am on ITV.

The new contestant just adds to the obstacles and plots the players must go through to win the £100,000 prize pot.
Richard Madeley started off the episode knee deep in the feels as he private messaged Georgina about her ileostomy bag before he began plotting ways to get blocked.
If you didn’t happen to catch the show, here’s what else you missed.
Richard Madeley and Georgina get emotional
Richard couldn’t keep it together (Picture: Channel 4)
Richard messaged Georgina – as Judy, of course – after noticing the ileostomy bag in her second profile picture.
Georgina, who initially seemed shocked to get a message invite from Judy, told Richard: ‘Yes that picture meant a lot to me. Having that ileostomy bag was a life altering time for me and that picture makes me feel super proud of myself and how far I’ve come.’
Richard slowly struggled to keep his composure and had to stop himself from talking to her like a ‘father figure’.
He bounced right back to his ‘Judy speak’.
He replied: ‘I thought so, and it shows how super confident you are. Basically I didn’t even notice. I just saw gorgeous you in a swimsuit. It was only later the lightbulb went on. I think you’re amazing, hun.’
And that was all it took for both parties to have a miniature breakdown over the conversation.
However, Georgina took the time to thank Judy for the messages and told him it meant a lot to her.
That only set Richard off more.
Tim trips on the treadmill after getting overexcited about talking to Jay and Sammie
And I oop (Picture: ITV)
We mean, it didn’t take much for the nation to fall in love with politician Tim, 58, this series but his sheer happiness in being invited into a group chat is making our hearts explode.
He dropped his book – which matched the rest of his clothes, by the way – and slowly slid backwards off the treadmill.
‘Oh bugger,’ he exclaimed before popping himself back on the machine.
During his conversation with Jay and Sammie, Tim said: ‘I think Jay’s mum is the person I’m talking to, I think Jay is a boy. ‘I think Jay is too sensitive and he knows exactly how to play all these girls.’
‘Sammie’ then replied: ‘Yeah that is my mum Tim, she’s my best mate. She’s a total legend, dunno where I’d be without her.’
Tim subtly throws jab at Nigel Farage during their dick pics game
The shade, it’s too much (Picture: ITV)
The Circle summoned the contestants to a game of Dick Pics, which got Georgina hot and heavy while Tim looked visibly nervous.
However, as the show couldn’t possibly be showing random men’s junk on national TV, the game focused on having the contestant’s guess famous people with ‘dick’ in their name.
The players could then help each other decide who the famous person is.
Tim, of course, got the first dick pic sent to him.
Before he got the picture he said: ‘Maybe I’ll be sent a picture of Mr Farage. He’s a prized dick.’
Unfortunately for him, he had a picture of the legendary Dick Van Dyke sent to him instead.
Better luck next time, Tim.
Woody comes out as bisexual
He was struggling finding love interests on the game (Picture: ITV)
Georgina was feeling rather nosy in last night’s episode as she started a chat with Woody to find out more about his life.
‘Just checking in and seeing how you were feeling, as I know how it feels to be 7th,’ Georgina wrote.
The 18-year-old, who spent a lot of the previous episode flirting with ‘Judy’ seemed unimpressed by the entire game.
‘Hey Georgina, feeling pretty crap yesterday. I actually was dying to speak to you. I felt like from the beginning, we’d get along well, cause you always make me laugh and we’re sort of in the same boat being the youngest on The Circle xx,’ he replied.
Woody was clearly nervous at what his new friend would respond with.
Georgina said: ‘I knew we’d get on being the youngest. I feel like you’re my cheeky younger brother. Have you got your eye on anyone?’
However, Woody suddenly went quiet as he had something on his mind.
He then revealed: ‘Being bisexual on The Circle, I thought I was going to have loads of chat. But in actuality, being 18 scared everyone away. I’m embarrassed to say I flirted a bit with Judy but I don’t think it went down the best.’
Georgina was visibly shocked but admitted Woody’s sexuality was ‘not a big thing’.
Ella enters the game
She chose a date with Jay (Picture: Channel 4)
Ella came in loud and proud, looking to prove she’s a ‘fun gal’.
Choosing to play as herself, Ella set up her profile, making sure everyone knew they could find her at a pub quiz.
It’s not The Circle unless they add a little bit of excitement every two seconds now is it?
Ella was given permission to ask a fellow player to go on a date in the hangout.
‘O m f to the f***ing g, ‘ Ella screamed. ‘Now let’s actually think about this date.’
She then proceeded to open up Tim’s profile, yelling out how much she wants to ‘meditate’ with him.
Same, Ella, same.
However, she finally settled on ‘Jay’ who is really Katie.
