On the subject of her joining Strictly, Emma said: ‘I absolutely love watching Strictly every weekend and I can’t believe that I’m getting the chance to be on this series
‘I know it will be such an amazing experience from start to finish. I can’t wait for the dancing and the fabulous outfits!’
How many children do they have?
They had their first child, The Honourable John Alexander Ladi Thynn, on 26 October 2014.
A second, The Honourable Henry Richard Isaac Thynn, was delivered via a surrogate on 30 December 2016.
Upset viewers flocked to Twitter to complain that their TV kept cutting out, begging the broadcaster to fix the problem.
‘PLEASE #Strictly fix whatever tech issue you’re having!!!!,’ one begged.
‘My BBC1 signal keeps cutting out WHAT IS GOING ON? #strictly,’ another questioned.
An unimpressed fan posted: ‘Interesting #Strictly issues tonight. Relieved to hear from a friend watching on a different platform that it’s not just me. Must be either from the studio or a BBC One TX issue, then?’

Addressing the issue, she told the camera: ‘We do apologise to any viewers there who may have experienced any transmission issues.
‘Very sorry, we are a live show.’
Thankfully the issues were sorted out before AJ Pritchard and Saffron Barker took to the dancefloor.
The pair have had a tough few weeks, after they became the first duo to spark Strictly curse speculation.

Side note: It’s week two, guys!
They had the rumour mill spinning after pictures emerged of them looking close during rehearsals, with the YouTube star wrapping her arms around the dancer’s neck.
‘AJ and Saffron are great friends and have been training really hard for their performance on Saturday evening – this is clearly only what these pictures show,’ her rep told Metro.co.uk.
‘They are loving the competition and cannot wait to perform their Cha-Cha to the Nation.’
So that’s that then.

Tonight, we’ll be presented with another round of dance routines from the contestants, and after last week, we’re pretty excited to see what they have to offer.

Strictly Come Dancing professionals meet the stars’ families (Picture: BBC)
Strictly Come Dancing saw the professionals meet their celebrity partner’s families in tonight’s episode.
While AJ Pritchard enjoyed a Sunday lunch with Saffron Barker’s mum and dad, Karen Clifton was filmed meeting Chris Ramsey’s wife and children.
And despite it all appearing quite cute and innocent, viewers appeared to make the same joke over on Twitter about the dreaded Strictly curse.
‘I wish strictly would stick to rehearsals for the pre dance VT. Having Karen go round to their house to basically have her hang out with his wife is unbelievably transparent. #Strictly,’ one wrote while another added: ‘Yep we got it Karen gets on with wife.’
Someone else referenced the controversy that surrounded the show last year after Katya Jones was picture kissing Seann Walsh, despite the pair being in relationships at the time.
‘Getting Karen to meet Chris’s family early, after the problems they had with last year’s comedian?’ they questioned.

As another pointed out: ‘I can hear the producers going “and in Week 2, everyone meets the celeb families, which they absolutely won’t destroy with tabloid affairs.”.
And it seems even more fans felt the same: ‘They’re all playing the family card pretty early this year #scd #strictly.’
‘I like this new “meeting the family” stuff on #strictly,’ one viewer confessed before laughing: ‘At least the kids get to know their new step parents before the s*** hits the fan.’

It seems as though the Strictly curse has already started after Saffron and AJ were pictured looking pretty cosy.
However, it turns out the influencer has no time for talk that the pair are becoming an item.
When contacted by Metro.co.uk, a spokesperson for the star said: ‘AJ and Saffron are great friends and have been training really hard for their performance on Saturday evening – this is clearly only what these pictures show.
‘They are loving the competition and cannot wait to perform their Cha-Cha to the Nation.’
Last year saw the likes of Dianne Buswell and Joe Sugg get together, while Kevin Clifton is now in a relationship with his former partner Stacey Dooley.

The American drag queen made an appearance in tonight’s episode where he showered his buddy with support.
In the short VT before Michelle’s dance, the icon waltzed into the rehearsal studio where he cheered the 51-year-old on from the sidelines.
‘It’s always heart-warming being with my best friend, even if it’s for 10 minutes,’ the contestant gushed before Ru made his grand appearance.
‘I saw your Cha Cha,’ he confessed before an excited Michelle asked: ‘And?’
Beaming from ear-to-ear, the TV personality answered: ‘It’s perfection, what’s your second dance?’

Mike Bushell just ate a banana sideways on Strictly Come Dancing (Picture: BBC)
Mike Bushell sent Strictly Come Dancing viewers into total meltdown after he got his banana out at the end of his performance.
No, that’s not a euphemism, the BBC Breakfast presenter had an actual banana in his pocket during his American Smooth with Katya Jones.
And that wasn’t even the strangest moment of the dance.
The 53-year-old then proceeded to chomp down on the fruit – sideways.
Yes, seriously.
Mike peeled the skin of the banana, and ate it as if he were devouring a burger, while Katya sat on the floor and watched him.

His performance with Katya earned the pair just 14 out of 40.

Ben Hart made his return for Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions (Picture: Dymond/Thames/Syco/REX)
Simon Cowell wasn’t impressed with the return of magician Ben Hart on Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions, believing he ‘played it safe’.
The 28-year-old magician auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent earlier this year, where he made it through to the final and finished in third place behind Colin Thackery and Marc Spellmann.
In a swift comeback, Ben returned to compete against acts from across the world on Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions, although his twenty pound note disappearing act didn’t exactly go down a storm with Simon.
Speaking after his performance, Simon said: ‘Ben, first of all, thanks so much for coming back.

‘Let me be brutally honest with you Ben. When you are competing with the rest of the world, having gone through the show this year, you’ve got to up your game, you didn’t in my opinion.
‘In fact, it was not as good as what you did I think a few months ago. You have amazing imagination Ben, for whatever reason you played it safe tonight.
‘I’m not voting but I don’t think that’s enough to get you through to the final.’
David Walliams, however, wasn’t exactly in agreement with Simon, replying: ‘What a load of absolute rubbish.

Ben did a special trick with a twenty pound note and a light bulb (Picture: Dymond/Thames/Syco/REX)
‘The thing that makes him so brilliant is he’s so subtle and he draws you in. He’s not coming out singing and dancing and kicking his legs with fireworks attached to his ankles, he draws you in because he’s a true artist.
‘He made me believe in magic and I don’t even like magic that much. But I love this guy.’
There’s a bunch of past Britain’s Got Talent acts on the latest show, including Collabro, Bars And Melody, and Alex Magala.

Alesha Dixon awarded Twist And Pulse her golden buzzer on Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions.
The UK street dance duo, comprised of Ashley Glazebrook and Glen Murphy, were runners-up on the fourth series of Britain’s Got Talent back in 2010, losing out to winner Spellbound.
Nine years later, the duo have been given a second chance at coming out on top after judge Alesha Dixon sent them straight through to the final.
The pair performed an excellent routine mixing body-popping moves with doses of humour, even having a special romantic breakdown to Enrique Iglesias track Hero.

The golden buzzer felt slightly delayed too, with Alesha waiting to hear comments from fellow judges David Walliams, Amanda Holden, and Simon Cowell before making the decision.
‘It’s so refreshing to see you back on the stage,’ Alesha said. ‘You’re like straight out of a computer game, I could just watch you forever. Love it.’
After hitting the golden buzzer, Twist And Pulse were suitably surprised by the delayed push – leaving the pair gobsmacked.
‘I am literally feeling crazy,’ Ashley said. ‘We’ve been waiting nine years for a moment like this.
‘Alesha we can’t thank you enough. Legend in the building.’
The pair follow Simon Cowell’s golden buzzer act Stavros Flatley, Kseniya Simonova picked by Amanda Holden, Ant And Dec’s choice Alexa Lauenburger, and David Walliams choice Paddy and Nicko.
They’ll be joined in the final by daredevil duo Bello and Anneliese Nock, US comic Preacher Lawson, dance act MerseyGirls and illusionist Darcy Oake.
Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions is available on ITV Player.
In the last show before the final, it was between Collabro, Bars And Melody and Alex Magala for the final spot – with Twist And Pulse landing Alesha Dixon’s golden buzzer.
After Collabro finished in third place, hosts Ant and Dec announced Bars And Melody had topped the vote from super fans in the audience, sending them through to the final.
The duo themselves were surprised by the result, with Charlie Lenehan saying: ‘I just want to say, I really didn’t think we would win that. Thank you guys so much.’
Pointing to Alex, Charlie added: ‘Bro, you’re incredible and I love you.

However, it seems no one watching on at home was too impressed with the decision, as upset viewers flocked to Twitter to question the result.
One fumed: ‘As much as his act scared me to death, I was hoping Alex would go through to the final! #BGT.’
‘Proof that you can never trust the public to vote #bgt #BGTChampions,’ another commented.

Alex auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent back in 2016 and has appeared on numerous editions of the show across the world, even winning Russia’s Got Talent in 2014.
Bars And Melody and Twist And Pulse are the last acts through to the final, joining dog act Alexa Lauenburger, daredevils Bello and Annaliese Nock, illusionist Darcy Oake, sand artist Kseniya Simonova, MerseyGirls, dancers Paddy & Nico, comedian Preacher Lawson, and Stavros Flatley.
Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions concludes next Saturday on ITV.
Gunther actor James Michael Tyler hasn’t spoken to Friends co-star Jennifer Aniston in 15 years (Picture: NBC/Getty)
Gunther’s relationship with (and crush on) Rachel Green (Jennifer Aniston) was a hit with Friends fans throughout the show’s 10-year run.
However, James Michael Tyler – who played the Central Perk boss – revealed he hasn’t spoken to Jennifer Aniston since the sitcom came to an end, back in 2004.
‘I haven’t seen Jennifer since the wrap party, honestly. It’s been 15 years since it ended,’ he said.
‘That was a time of our lives when we were lucky enough to be able to work together for 10 years and have that sort of chemistry.

Gunther was madly in love with Rachel Green (Picture: Getty)
‘She lives in another city. I’m not going to go and hang outside her house and wait for her to come outside and say hello. That would be kind of weird!’
Gunther would most definitely approve, though.
But James insisted he’s not taking the snub personally, telling the Daily Star Sunday: ‘It’s nothing personal. Actors move on. It’s been a long time. I’m married and other people are married. Things change.’
Which is fair enough.
James was originally cast as an extra on the show, before Gunther became a surprise hit with fans thanks to his quiet pining over Rachel – despite the fact he barely spoke.
Image may be NSFW. Clik here to view.
James revealed there was a plot to have Gunther and Rachel live together (Picture: NBC)
‘It never went through but they were going to have Rachel move in with Gunther,’ he told us. ‘I remember reading the first draft of that script and thinking, “Oh man, they’re never going to make this work.”
‘It just didn’t read, even to me. I was not ungrateful that it didn’t work. Through no fault of Jennifer or myself or the writing, it just felt contrived and everything else that happened in the series, and continues to be, was quite organic.
‘I remember looking at Jen too and we didn’t think it was right,’ James added. ‘Whatever it was for, we didn’t need that storyline.’
Friends is available to stream on Netflix UK.

Alec Baldwin returned to Saturday Night Live as President Donald Trump to kick off the sketch show’s 45th season.
In the opening of the new episode, the president made panicked phone calls some of his friends with clout as he worried about being impeached.
The cold open referenced the whistleblower scandal as Trump spoke to Kanye, played by Chris Redd, Kim Jong-un, played by Bowen Yang, and Liev Schreiber, who was playing himself.
In the sketch, the president hits up his ‘urbans’, Kanye and Don King, played by Kenan Thompson, and offers to get people out of jail in exchange for their help.
Kanye tells Tump: ‘I don’t think we can be fam no more fam.’
Don King adds: ‘This whole impeachment thing is hurting our brand.’

The actor says: ‘I told you Mr. President, Ray Donovan is a fictional character. I’m Liev Schreiber the actor.’
After asking to talk to John Wick, Keanu Reeves’ fictional assassin, he then wonders if Liam Neeson is free to help him out.

The BBC has released the first trailer for The War Of The Worlds featuring an all-star cast.
Poldark star Eleanor Tomlinson and Rafe Spall lead the new three-part sci-fi series based on the classic novel by HG Wells, with support from Robert Carlyle and Sherlock’s Rupert Graves.
The story follows George (Rafe Spall) and his partner Amy (Eleanor Tomlinson) in Edwardian England as they attempt to defy society and start a new life together, only to hit the hurdle of an alien invasion.
Rupert Graves plays George’s elder brother Frederick, while Robert Carlyle is astronomer and scientist Ogilvy.

The series is directed by Craig Viveiros, who previously helmed mini-series And Then There Were None and episodes of BBC’s Rillington Place.
It was adapted by writer Peter Harness who previously explained how the adaptation will stay ‘faithful to the tone and spirit’ of the book, while delivering a ‘contemporary’ twist.

The alien invasion is here (Picture: BBC)
Peter said: ‘There is nothing cosy or predictable about Wells’ novel, and that’s what I want to capture in the show.
‘We have an incredible cast, a brilliant director and a wonderful crew – and I can’t wait for them to explode the terrifying story of the first alien invasion on to our screens.’
This new series joins an enormous list of The War Of The Worlds adaptations, ranging from 1938 radio dramas, musical albums, live concerts and movies, with the most recent being Steven Spielberg’s 2005 flick starring Tom Cruise.
The War Of The Worlds airs on BBC One in the autumn.
Motsi’s involvement with Strictly has reportedly made her a target for racists (Picture: BBC One)
Strictly Come Dancing’s new judge Motsi Mabuse has become the target of a racial hate group that has caused the show to up security, according to reports.
Motsi is the newest addition to the Strictly panel and while she’s going down a hit with viewers for her upbeat nature and criticisms, others are apparently using the show as a means to target her.
As a result, Strictly has allegedly upped its security in order to make Motsi, her sister Oti, and the rest of the cast feel safe.
‘Strictly rightly take the safety of their stars very seriously, and felt that the move was warranted. And they would rather be over than under cautious,’ a source told The Sun.
Security has apparently been upped in light of the threats (Picture: PA)
This isn’t the first time the dancing pro has been a victim of targeted attacks, with Motsi previously speaking out about racist trolls who come after her online.
She told Radio Times: ‘I’ve learnt the power of words. I’ve had the worst thrown at me.
‘Racism is very extreme and it has become worse in recent years. People are feeling, for some reason, “We can attack”.’
‘They write some bad stuff – they’re gonna “hit you with a baseball bat” and call me “monkey”,’ she revealed.
‘I’ve learnt to not look that deeply into what people say as it’s mostly a reflection of themselves.’
In the meantime, Strictly is continuing as normal in front of the cameras with the second week going off with only one technical hitch.
The first dance-off elimination from this year’s series will air on the BBC tonight.
As it stands, Karim Zeroual is at the top of the leaderboard, while James Cracknell sits at the bottom.
Strictly Come Dancing continues Saturdays at 6.40pm and Sundays at 7pm on BBC One.

Baga Chipz slept with Kavana on their mate’s sofa (Picture: Getty)
RuPaul’s Drag Race UK star Baga Chipz has revealed that they’ve got a number of famous exes – including former 90s heart-throb, Kavana.
Baga is about to appear on the first ever UK series of the drag queen extravaganza competition, and ahead of the series starting admitted they were expecting a call from former flames who have had their own brush with fame.
‘Kavana is a lovely guy,’ they told Daily Star Sunday. ‘We worked together years ago. We s***ed each other, basically. It was on his mate’s settee’
‘He’ll want a bit again. He can’t get enough of me,’ Baga added.
During the chat, Baga – real name Leo Loren – also said that they had a type for popstars, with another in the Baga (sorry…had to) but she would never reveal who.
They explained: ‘I’m not saying who it is because I don’t know if he’s come out as gay or not. And I’d never out someone. But I can say that he had a nice k**b.’
Baga will be joining nine other queens from this side of the pond – including Divina De Campo, Cheryl Hole and Vinegar Strokes – to go head-to-head for a crown and a cash prize.

Co-creators Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato, admitted there were a number of moments that shocked him while filming, as Bailey said: ‘From the very first moment we started taping. We were like, “Good lord, this is going to be on the BBC?”
‘Cavalcade of filth, that’s what I would say. Flood of perversion.’
‘Every now and then Ru would turn and look at the camera and say, “You’re watching the BBC,”‘ Barbato added to Decider. ‘But sophisticated filth, that’s the thing.

‘They get away with it because they’re really loving creatures but they’re also really smart queens.’
Bailey continued: ‘The British have always had a love of double entendre, of corny puns, of deliberately bad jokes, and sort of bad taste and off-color humour is all a part of that. It’s ultimately is a celebration.’
RuPaul will be fronting the judging panel as ever, with right hand lady Michelle Visage and new UK judges Graham Norton and Alan Carr.
Celeb guest judges include Cheryl Cole, Andrew Garfield and Maisie Williams.
RuPaul’s Drag Race UK starts Thursday at 9pm on BBC Three and BBC iPlayer.

Chris has paid the price for his great score on Saturday night’s Strictly (Picture: BBC)
Strictly’s Chris Ramsey pulled out all the stops for his Charleston this week – as well as pulling out his shoulders, back and ‘a**e muscles’ in the process.
The South Shields star posted a photo of the numerous medical straps across his shoulders and back on Instagram after wowing the judges with the high-energy routine that saw him shoot up the leaderboard.
Taken in a hotel mirror, Chris revealed the extent of the pain he must have been in while performing live on Saturday – with lifts, cartwheels and high kicks during the high-energy routine.
Thankfully, the efforts paid off, with the performance to Out Of Our Heads by Take That earning a score of 26/40.
Next to the photo, the star wrote: ‘Thanks so much for all of your lush comments and support last night. I’ve worked flat out this week and my body is in bits! Pulled my tricep, shoulder and glutes (a**e muscles for the scientists among us)
‘I’m all strapped up like a real dancer!’
‘I haven’t done a cartwheel since junior school and I had to do about 200 this week,’ he continued.
‘Kids don’t get enough credit for just being able to knock them off out of nowhere… they are a nightmare when you’re a 33 year old lazy comedian! And the cartwheel lift is how I got my injuries.
‘Hopefully last night’s performance was the final cartwheels of my dancing career, and I can move onto something else if I’m still in the show next week… tune into the results show tonight to find out.’
‘Either way… I had a blast,’ he concluded. ‘What a night! Big love to @karenhauer for not farting while I had her legs round my head too. You da real MVP.’
Cheeky pro partner Karen couldn’t help but joke: ‘I did fart…’

His celeb co-stars weren’t much support either, with Emma joking: ‘Oh my god Chris… don’t wanna make things worse.. but that’s gonna hurt taking that tape off!!!!!
‘But worth recording it…as it will be hysterical to us!!! Loves ya.’
Whether Chris makes it through to the next round will be revealed on tonight’s results show.
After a disappointing first week that saw them come in second to last, Chris and Karen raked in the points last week and managed to land themselves square in the middle.
Strictly Come Dancing continues tonight at 7.15pm on BBC One.

Strictly Come Dancing fans are raging over Kelvin Fletcher’s score, accusing the judges of ‘under marking’ him.
The complaint seems to crop up every year when someone’s fave gets a less than impressive score, and this year it’s Kelvin’s turn.
The actor and his partner Oti Mabuse took to the floor on Saturday night with a waltz to the song What The World Needs Now by Burt Bacharach.
Kelvin and Oti scored 28 points in Week Two, a considerable come down from their 32 points on launch night.
But they can’t be too upset with that score, as they are still in third place on the leaderboard overall behind Karim Zeroual and Amy Dowden, and Michelle Visage and Giovanni Pernice.
New judge Motsi Mabuse said she couldn’t tell if it was a rumba or a waltz as there was ‘a bit of hip movement there’.
She added: ‘But once you guys got together you created such a beautiful atmosphere. I loved the atmosphere you created and the musicality was so beautiful.’

Shirley Ballas brought them up on their footwork, saying: ‘No disputing your talent, I want to say that first. But if you choose to start yourself on the stage, you need to use the correct footwork.
‘You definitely didn’t have the best frame of the night – I’m not disputing his talent I’m just trying to give the lad some advice.’
Viewers fiercely disagreed on social media, with one comment reading: ‘I’m sorry but poor Kelvin was undermarked and wayyy more critiqued than others. That man can dance!’
A further tweet read: ‘Are the judges watching the same thing as me!!! That was beautiful.’
One fan said: ‘Kelvin and Oti deserve more than 28 points’, while another added: ‘7-7-7-7:28 for Kelvin and Oti! That dance deserves more but whatever.’
Kelvin was brought in at the last minute to replace Made In Chelsea star Jamie Laing, who was forced to drop out after injuring his ankle in training.
Strictly Come Dancing: The Results airs tonight at 7.15pm on BBC One.

***Warning: Major spoilers for The Politician season one***
Ryan Murphy’s uber-colourful and twisted satire The Politician dropped on Friday and already fans have zoomed through the eight episodes like lightening.
Not going to lie, we were definitely in that group of people.
But episode eight of the show changed the game with a time jump that perfectly set up a whole new game for the already confirmed season two.
(It also explained why everyone looked like they were in their mid-twenties when they were supposed to be teenagers.)
So, to explain what the hell happened, and what to expect in season two, here are the essential things you need to know.
This is your last chance to look away before the super spoilers take over.
Fresh from the glossy Santa Barbara world the first seven episodes were set in, The Politician takes a turn and reveals that Payton (Ben Platt) is now living in New York.
Trading in his dream school of Harvard for New York University, he’s also developed a bit of a drinking problem and sings ballads in bars to earn some extra cash.
However, he has maintained contact with Infinity (Zoey Deutch) whose hair has grown back after she cut ties with her grandmother, and Sky (Rahne), his gender non-conforming former enemy.
Despite the three/four years that have passed, he’s also still haunted by River (David Corenswet), who has become his conscience figure.

James (Theo Germaine) has remained by Payton’s side and is his dorm roommate, while McAfee (Laura Dreyfuss) is trying to make a mark in politics but is railroaded as an overeager intern and considered nothing more.
Following the years of abuse from her grandmother via Munchausen’s by Proxy, Infinity is truly thriving, basically living a carefree life off the royalties of the book she made and the free stuff.
Ricardo (Benjamin Barrett) is in jail, actually probably living his best life as part of the drama club following his attempt to kill off Payton at the request of Dusty (Jessica Lange), who unfortunately for meme creators everywhere, seems unlikely to return in season two.

Standish and Gold now have a fight on their hands (Picture: Netflix)
Thankfully we have more than an adequate replacement in Hadassah Gold (Bette Midler), a shoot from the hip and take no prisoner’s politician’s aide to New York’s Senator Dede Standish (Judith Light).
Rude and abrasive, the pair have been an unbeatable duo for decades in the state, and have managed to hide Standish’s throuple marriage from the electorate.
Running unopposed for years, McAfee and James see their way back into the game, and recruit a few more old friends to pull their pal Payton up by his socks and throw him in the running.
With Astrid (Lucy Boynton) thrown into the fold, and Alice (Julia Schaefer) literally high-tailing it out of her wedding to get back to the life she actually wanted to lead, Payton is drawn back in and agrees to run for state senate.
Season 2 will most likely follow that race – and the dirty actual politics they will have to face in order to make it to the senate.
With Payton’s desire to be President back in the fold, could his ruthless ambition come with it? And is it a match for Standish and Gold?
Let the battle for New York commence.
The Politician is available on Netflix now.
