Michiel Huisman has been cast opposite The Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco in new HBO Max thriller series The Flight Attendant.
The 38-year-old actor, best known for playing Daario Naharis in Game Of Thrones, will star in the new series based on the novel by Chris Bohjalian.
In the show, Huisman will play charming and wealthy businessman Alex who has some bad luck in Bangkok. He joins Cassie (Kaley Cuoco) after she wakes up in the wrong hotel with a dead man – with no recollection of what happened.
The show is set to launch alongside the new streaming service in the US next spring, with it unknown whether it’ll be released in the UK.

Alongside Game Of Thrones, Huisman also starred in Netflix’s The Haunting Of Hill House, Orphan Black, and Nashville.
The show is part of HBO Max’s line-up of original shows, alongside the likes of Crime Farm produced by Nicole Kidman, an animated series of Gremlins, and romantic comedy anthology Love Life starring Anna Kendrick.
The Flight Attendant also marks one of Cuoco’s first roles following The Big Bang Theory, alongside a voice role as Harley Quinn for a new DC Universe animated series.
The Flight Attendant is expected to release on HBO Max in spring 2020 in the US.

Emma Corrin has floored fans with her uncanny similarities to Princess Diana while she was spotted filming scenes for season 4 of The Crown.
The actress was recently seen on the set of the Netflix drama alongside her onscreen husband Josh O’Connor, who plays Prince Charles.
While filming new scenes in Malaga, Spain, the 23-year-old looked the spitting image of the late Princess Diana.
She was spotted wearing a pink polka dot dress paired with a statement fascinator — nearly identical to the fashionable look the late royal wore during her 1983 tour of Australia with Charles.
The costume even had the same belted waist and ruched neckline as Diana’s ensemble.

The Crown fans got their first look at Emma as the Princess of Wales last week, when she was spotted filming another scene set during their Australian tour — their first royal tour with their son Prince William, who was nine months old at the time.
Emma looked strikingly similar to the Prince Harry and William’s mum as she sported a white button-down dress, white flats, a matching white purse and the same blonde bob as Diana.
The star’s previous credits include roles on Grantchester and Misbehaviour alongside Keeley Hawes and Keira Knightley.

Speaking about being cast in the Netflix drama, Emma said: ‘I have been glued to the show and to think I’m now joining this incredibly talented acting family is surreal.
‘Princess Diana was an icon and her effect on the world remains profound and inspiring. To explore her through Peter Morgan’s writing is the most exceptional opportunity and I will strive to do her justice.’

Tobias Menzes will take over Matt Smith’s role of Prince Phillip, while Helena Bonham Carter is the new Princess Margaret, replacing Vanessa Kirby.
The Crown season three drops on Netflix on 17 November.

Lamar Odom has become the latest star eliminated from Dancing With The Stars.
The NBC Basketball player fell into the bottom two opposite Queer Eye’s Karamo Brown after failing to impress with his Vienesse Waltz.
Partnered up with Peta Murgatroyd, the pair performed to Kiss from a Rose by Seal, only earning a score of 20 from the judging panel.
The song itself seems to be a little cursed for the dancing show, seeing as David James performed to the same track this weekend in the UK version of Strictly, only to fall in the bottom two as well.
However, while David managed to save himself and Anneka Rice was eliminated in his place, Lamar wasn’t so lucky with Karamo beating him to the punch.
Karamo performed a Tango to Old Town Road (Diplo Remix) by Lil Nas X with Jenna Johnson.
As Lamar, who stands at 6ft 10in tall, hugged his 5ft7in partner, all the judges voted to keep Karamo and Jenna for being the strongest couple in the competition.

Speaking afterwards, he told ET Online: ‘I feel all right. I feel good. The sun will shine tomorrow. I’ll wake up, work out, move forward.’
Admitting that he would’ve liked to have continued, he added that he thought his 2015 accidental overdose – where he ended up in a coma – left memory damage that effected his ability to learn the moves.
‘My cognitive memory … just memorizing the dance routine was difficult at times, but I felt like I got better every week,’ he said. ‘It’s so crazy because I felt like this was my best dance tonight.’
Lauren Alaina, Sailor Brinkley-Cook, Hannah Brown, James Van Der Beek, Kate Flannery, Kel Mitchell, Ally Brooke and Sean Spicer join Karamo in holding their place in the competition.
Dancing With The Stars airs Monday on ABC in the US, with dances available on YouTube internationally shortly after.

Harry Redknapp revealed that Ian Wright was being paid £1m to go on I’m A Celeb
Former King of the Jungle Harry Redknapp has claimed Ian Wright will be in this year’s I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here – and he’s being paid £1 million.
The footballing legend, who appeared on the ITV show in 2018, accidentally let slip the secret during one of his guest appearances in Nottingham.
The star, who is currently touring the country with his show ‘An Evening With Harry Redknapp’ appeared at the Royal Concert Hall in Nottingham on Monday night.
Fan Luke Pawley, who attended the event took to Twitter shortly after his appearance to reveal Harry’s slip-up.
He tweeted: ‘Just got home from seeing @Redknapp in Nottingham. Interestingly, he let slip that Ian Wright has been paid £1m to appear on this year’s #ImACeleb.’

Luke later told Metro.co.uk how Harry revealed the news.
He said: ‘He was asked why he went in the jungle and said, “Well they paid me half a million quid, so that helped. Ian Wright’s going in this year and they’re paying him a million”.’
And while the full line-up hasn’t been confirmed just yet, there has been lots of speculation surrounding who could be entering the Australian jungle.

The latest star to be rumoured for the show is singer Nadine Coyle.
The former Girls Aloud star is the latest celebrity hotly tipped to be headed into camp and show bosses are allegedly thrilled to have her on board – hoping she’ll spill all on her old bandmates, including Cheryl and Kimberley Walsh.

A source claimed: ‘Nadine is a big name and ITV was keen to get her. It’s no secret there’s no love lost between [Nadine and Cheryl] and Nadine is refreshingly honest about what went on [in Girls Aloud] from her perspective.

Everyone’s favourite zombie-fighting buddies, Daryl and Carol, finally got reunited in the premiere of The Walking Dead season 10. But is the show’s endgame on the way, and could the two survivors actually leave together?
Carol (Melissa McBride) finally returned to the zombie apocalypse after months away at sea, and it was pretty clear from the off that both she and Daryl (Norman Reedus) are now tired of fighting.
After the loss of Henry, who was murdered by the Whisperers leader Alpha (Samantha Morton), we saw the series stalwart consider running away, with her best friend joining her.

‘You ever wonder if this is all there is?’ Carol asked Daryl. ‘Just run into people, kill each other until whoever’s left says enough?’
‘No more fighting,’ Daryl replied. ‘Just get on the bike and go. See who’s left.’
If audiences are wondering if the two could actually leave the show, they maybe should be legitimately worried. In the past few seasons, the AMC hit hasn’t held back when it comes to the exits of its main stars. Andrew Lincoln’s Rick Grimes – The Walking Dead’s head honcho – has left to kickstart his own movie series and we’re coming ever closer to Danai Gurira’s last scenes as Michonne, which will apparently come with ‘massive’ consequences.

Norman has already spoken out on the possibility of Daryl and Carol leaving the road, especially now since the war-weary duo have been pulled back into conflict with the Whisperers.
The actor told Entertainment Weekly: ‘Life is so hard sometimes, especially on that show for those characters. They say, “What if we did this?” They’re kind of daydreaming about stuff. We’re kind of window-shopping opportunities. I think it’s what you would do. You’d be, “Meh, I just wish things would be different right now.” So it’s two friends doing that. Sparking a little openness to them.’

Speaking exclusively to Metro.co.uk to promote her photo series with Rankin, she told us: ‘People’s thoughts were extreme. Some of them were really on to it. Coming to the end of series five, some of them were clued up but the majority of people didn’t predict the ending.
‘The amount of theories were brilliant. People were [thinking], “It’s an object because it’s got H on top of the building”. It was just one extreme to the other, it was great.
‘I’m really proud of the show, that it can have that kind of effect and give people a bit of entertainment, along with being able to create their own theories and things aren’t spoon fed to them.
The 36-year-old also revealed that people behind the scenes got in on the action, and began suspecting everyone.
She joked: ‘Everybody suspected everybody! Even some of the SAs that are in the show, and have been in the show for quite a few years, are going: “I wonder if it’s her or him”.
‘I was just rolling with it.’

‘I have no information. I’m not doing that to be difficult, I don’t know a thing,’ she continued. ‘So I’m currently just waiting in the wings, we’ll see what happens.

‘I don’t know anything, though. I genuinely don’t. I wouldn’t have a clue.’

The BBC star star was joined in front of the camera by fiancé Jonny Owen, whom she starred with in This Is England and Svengali.
Speaking about why they decided to take part, she explained: ‘Me and Johnny don’t really do photoshoots together for any reason in particular, we’ve only done one before. This just made sense.
‘There was a reason for it, because we’re away for work quite a lot. It’s something we know a lot about, we spend a lot of time in hotels and away from home.
‘It’s just something positive, there’s nothing negative about it, it’s about love and loyalty and travel and things that mean a lot to us and actually help us to enjoy the times when we’re away from each other or away from home. So that’s why we did it.’
Jonny also revealed the photographer made them feel ‘so comfortable’ on set – but there was one thing that shocked him about the final photos, which they both saw blown up at the launch party at the beginning of the month.
‘When they blow pictures up of your head, you can’t believe how big your ear is,’ he added. ‘They’re very unforgiving when they’re that size.’

Rick and Morty’s latest season will be its shortest yet (Picture: Adult Swim)
Rick and Morty season four is nearly upon us, but the show’s creators have shared some bad news with fans – the new run will be the shortest yet at just five episodes.
Previous series of the show have clocked in at around either 10 or 11 episodes each, so news the number has been cut in half hasn’t gone down well with some fans, especially considering the comedy’s been off-air now for two years.
Fans are also wondering how they can possibly stretch out all five episodes in as long a time as possible – because you never know, it may be another two year wait for season five.
Although the creators have owned up to the shorter stint, calling the new episodes ‘half the season you deserve, all the season we could handle’.
Despite the shocking turn, acolytes of the show are already second-guessing what kind of brain-bending twists they’re in store for.
Rick and Morty season four will air in November while seasons one to three air on Channel 4.

Karen Hauer has revealed that the entire Strictly Come Dancing team ‘united’ and rallied around Katya Jones in the wake of the Seann Walsh snog scandal last year.
The pro dancer, who is currently partnered with Chris Ramsey on the show, revealed that after Katya and Seann were caught in a clinch, everyone involved protected them.
Including Katya’s husband Neil Jones, another pro on the show who Katya has since separated from.
Speaking to new! Magazine, she said: ‘Of course. When things like that happen, we unite. People like to think we go against each other, but it’s never like that backstage.
‘The worst thing would be to turn against each other. We’re all a team and always have been.’
Karen has her own unique experiences about working with an ex seeing as she and ex-husband Kevin Clifton parted ways in March 2018, but continue to work on the show together.
It’s something that Karen doesn’t regret as she confirms she’s still bonded through dance with her ex.

‘We’ve been working together for the past couple of years regardless, so for us it’s always been the same. We still love dancing together,’ she added. ‘I respect him a lot. I love to see him happy.’
Katya and Neil are now competing against each other for the first time in this year’s series, with Neil getting his first dance partner in ex-footballer Alex Scott.
Having to insist she wasn’t drunk after falling again in a prat fall, Katya was backed up by Neil, who was accused of laughing at her as it happened.
‘So every is clear, no one was [laughing] at @mrs_katjones fall on Saturday,’ Neil wrote on Twitter.
‘We were [laughing] at the fact she styled it out and still made @mikebreakfast finish the routine and then we all said [she should] fall when she got into Claudia’s area so she did as a joke and that’s why we were [laughing] again…’
It all makes *a little* more sense now…

Louis Walsh will be back on the judging panel for this year’s special series, X Factor: Celebrity.
And it seems he is more than happy to return to the popular show, as he was full of praise for his pal Simon Cowell, and dished out the secrets behind his success.
When chatting about what fans can expect, he gushed over the music mogul and claimed the singing competition is only as great as it is because of Si.
The 67-year-old continued: ‘He’s a songs man and sees the market. He saw that with Robson and Jerome, with One Direction, Leona Lewis, II Divo, Susan Boyle, Five, Westlife – the list goes on.

‘I think what we’re doing this year is a brilliant idea and everyone is going to love watching these celebrities. The show feels more exciting,’ he explained.
‘There’s no boot camp, no six chair challenge – it feels slick this year. It’s been the best show on TV for a long time and has just had a little rebranding.’

Back in 2018, the Irish star announced his departure from the show following the 14th series.
‘I’ve had a fantastic 13 years on The X Factor but the show needs a change and I’m ready to leave,’ he said at the time.
Meanwhile, Sharon was dropped from the singing contest not soon after she launched into a rant in 2018 where she branded the show ‘f****** karaoke.’

Jon Snow may have been reluctant to sit on the Iron Throne but his twin brother might have lapped it up, according to Game of Thrones fans who have uncovered what may have been a second King of the North.
The Game of Thrones finale skimmed through Jon’s (played by Kit Harington) inner turmoil to overthrow Daenerys Taragryen (Emilia Clarke) after learning he was in fact the rightful heir to the Seven Kingdoms as son of Rhaegar Targaryen.
And in the books of George RR Martin, creator of Westeros, the fifth book introduced Young Griff as another long lost son of Rhaegar, which has sparked speculation on Reddit that Jon had a twin.

‘Could Jon Snow and Young Griff be fraternal twins?’ they wrote.
‘My theory is that Young Griff is not who he claims he is, but instead is Lyanna and Rhaegar’s son.
‘When Ned entered the Tower of Joy he found a bloodied Lyanna but instead of only finding Jon alone he also found Young Griff. He took Jon to The North since he was the Northern-looking one and left Griff with Howland Reed.’

South Park’s never been one to shy away from controversy – but the ever-popular adult cartoon series might just have taken things to another level with its latest episode.

One involves Stan’s dad Randy getting caught attempting to sell weed in the country and getting sent to a work camp which bears a resemblance to those Beijing has been using in Xinjiang Province to hold up to a million Chinese Muslims for political indoctrination.
Matters are further complicated when he runs into Winnie The Pooh who is also imprisoned there.
A second plot sees Stan, Jimmy, Kenny and Butters forming a metal band who become popular and attract the attention of a manager who wants to make a film about them – although the script keeps changing in order to allow the film to be distributed in China.
Why has the episode been banned in China?
The episode appears to have fallen foul of Chinese authorities over its portrayal of Chinese censorship, and how Hollywood tends to shape its content to enable it to be shown in the country.
The appearance of Winnie The Pooh is also controversial, given that the loveable cartoon bear has also been banned in China after people became comparing him to president Xi Jinping in memes.

Those searching for South Park on China’s social media site Weibo have been given a message saying ‘no relevant results have been found’ – while the show also apepars to have been removed from other local video websites including Youku, iQiyi, le.com and Bilibili.
While search engine Baidu still shows results for South Park, they are mainly related to old news stories.

Katie Price’s ex-boyfriend Charles Drury appeared to fuel rumours that he’s appearing on the winter series of Love Island.
Rumours started circulating after the newly single builder posted a couple of cryptic posts to Instagram.
A source told The Sun Online: ‘He was approached last year but was seeing someone at the time – but now he’s single, producers called him up and asked him to re-audition for the show.
‘Nothing’s signed yet and he’s not even sure if he wants to do it but they’re keen to meet him. Katie will be furious when she finds out – he’d have girls falling over him, and he’s bound to talk about what dating Katie was like if he makes it into the villa.’

It’s said that the builder, who had moved into Katie’s Sussex home, is fuming after he carried out jobs around the house.
A source said: ‘Katie wanted Charles to come to the house and talk things out – she’s been begging him not to leave and to take her back.
‘But he’s still fuming over her cheating on him and embarrassing him so told her he’s not interested. That’s when she asked him to sign an NDA (non disclosure agreement) saying he wouldn’t speak about her in public or tell his mates anything about their relationship,’ they added to The Sun Online.

Martin Bashir may be known for his documentaries – but he’s about to take on a whole new task as a singer on Celebrity X Factor.
And if you’re wondering what gave him the inspo for a singing career, he’s revealed it’s all down to the Fresh Prince himself, Will Smith.
The 56-year-old will be trying his luck against the likes of Megan McKenna, a band of Love Islanders and Ricki Lake to be named celebrity champion…most of which have some kind of background in music.
So speaking about why he decided to take on the challenge, he said: ‘Some years back, whenever we were driving long distances, I would put a song by Will Smith called Getting Jiggy With It onto the CD player and start singing.
‘They’d say, “Please Mum, tell him to shut up”. I think they found it embarrassing.’
So is he prepared to leave his family cringing again? And, more importantly, is he going to be bringing those sweet, sweet, rap skills to the audition room?
‘Well it depends on how embarrassing the performance is!,’ he said. ‘If it’s an absolute disaster and I go out in the first round, they will probably say something like, “You’re stupid. You should never have done it”.’

How his efforts pay off will be revealed soon enough – with the first round of auditions launching this weekend.
It seems whatever happened was a bit of a wake-up call for the journalist, who until taking part had never professionally performed.
‘It’s not as easy as you think. It’s hard,’ he said. ‘I’d never recognised how extraordinarily skilled singers are. I had no idea. I love music. I’d go to classical concerts, jazz, pop, whatever.
‘But this has been like an education because I had no idea.’

Big Mouth co-creator Andrew Goldberg has apologised on behalf of the show for ‘missing the mark’ in its explanation of pansexuality.
The Netflix cartoon, which takes a blunt look at young teens as they wrestle with their hormones, introduced a new character Ali (Ali Wong) in season three who proudly declared that she was pansexual.
When asked what that means, she rolled her eyes and said: ‘Bisexuality is so binary.’
‘Being pansexual means my sexual preference isn’t limited by gender identity,’ she added. ‘Some of you borings like tacos and some of you like burritos, and if you’re bisexual you like tacos and burritos.’
‘I’m saying I like tacos and burritos, and I could be into a taco that was born a burrito, or a burrito that’s transitioning into a taco, comprende? And honey, anything else on the f***ing menu.’
However, it’s come under fire for the scene not being representative of how people are able to come out, the lack of understanding during the attempt at representation, and the mislabelling and definition of pansexuality and bisexuality.
Goldberg, who co-wrote the show alongside Nick Kroll, posted a statement online apologising for the mistake and wrote: ‘We missed the mark here with this definition of bisexuality vs. pansexuality, and my fellow creators and I sincerely apologize for making people feel misrepresented.
‘Any time we try to delve into something as complex as human sexuality, it’s super challenging and this time we could have done better.’
‘Thank you to the trans, pan, and bi communities for further opening our eyes to these important and complicated issues of representation,’ they continued.
‘We are listening and we look forward to delving into all of this in future seasons.’

Stacey Solomon has revealed she’s set to chat with Simon Cowell about returning for The X Factor: All Stars.
This year the X Factor is replacing the traditional series with two special editions; a celebrity version and an all-stars series which brings back past contestants.
While the line-up for the celebrity version has been revealed, featuring Love Island supergroups and Megan McKenna, it’s still unknown which acts will be back for the all stars series.
One person we can probably rely on is Stacey Solomon, who has revealed she’s set to have talks with Simon Cowell about possibly returning to the show.

Asked by Closer magazine her opinions on Simon, Stacey said: ‘He’s really nice! He’s always been great to me.
‘They are doing The X Factor: All Stars series later this year, where they bring back past contestants. He said he wants to talk about it with me, so I think I’ve got to have a phone call with him soon!’
Stacey finished third on the sixth series of X Factor back in 2009, and has since gone onto appear on shows I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here and Loose Women.
But who could be potentially joining Stacey? Louis Walsh previously claimed Leona Lewis, Alexandra Burke, and Shayne Ward would all be returning, although the latter has since ruled himself out.
Ray Quinn has also been tipped to return despite his acting commitments to Hollyoaks.
The celebrity edition is set to kick off this Saturday, and judge Louis Walsh recently teased it’s more ‘slick’ than the traditional show.
‘I think what we’re doing this year is a brilliant idea and everyone is going to love watching these celebrities. The show feels more exciting,’ Louis said.
‘There’s no boot camp, no six chair challenge – it feels slick this year. It’s been the best show on TV for a long time and has just had a little rebranding.’
The X Factor: Celebrity kicks off Saturday 12 October on ITV at 8.35pm.
Because this time around it’s the celebrities who’ll be taking centre stage, with 14 acts – all featuring famous faces – lining up to show Simon Cowell and the judges what they can do.

X Factor: Celebrity brings some familiar faces back to the fold, with Louis Walsh and Nicole Scherzinger returning as judges alongside Simon Cowell.

Coleen Nolan has revealed that young men have been sending her penis pics online following her divorce.
Talking to Loose Women about people scamming others for their money, Coleen revealed that after the announcement she was splitting from husband Ray Fensome in February 2018, she was suddenly getting attention from people online.
Thing is, she saw right through it, and wasn’t impressed by those clearly attempting to get at her for fame and/or money.
She told the panel: ‘I am getting a lot of messages and pictures sent by very young men, showing me, what they’ve….”how much they’ve got”.’
When Gloria Hunniford asked her if she’d ever been tempted, she said: ‘Never! Like a) they’re all in their late 20s/30s. I want to go firstly, if I was Coleen Smith working in such and such a place, you wouldn’t be sending be these pictures, so you’re obviously [doing it for money/fame].
‘I just don’t believe them.’
She then added: ‘I just want to go to them, “I’m 54. I’ve got children as young as you, I’ve seen all that before, it’s not interesting.”
‘I just want to go for a nice meal.’

Coleen’s revelation comes as the group discussed how women and men were being scammed out of thousands of pounds by people who are trying to take advantage of the emotionally vulnerable for cash.
In large part, the examples given were newly single, and were reeled in by the attention of someone new and exciting.

Vikings star Gustaf Skarsgård has basically confirmed Floki’s death, and we are more than shook.
The last time we saw the fan favourite was in episode 19 of season five, titled What Happened In The Cave.
After losing his faith in the Gods, the much-loved character went searching for answers in an Icelandic cave – as you do.
And after hoping he would find what he was looking for, he came across the Christain symbol of a cross and fell to his knees as he wailed out in disbelief.
His screams caused an avalanche, that barricaded him underground, and while viewers were left hoping he would somehow escape, it seems the episode had actually sealed his fate.
Taking to Instagram ahead of the final season, Floki star Gustaf revealed his excitement for the finale as well as teasing his character’s end.

He wrote to his 829,000 followers: ‘Who’s ready for season six? Floki might not have made it out of the cave but I’m as excited as the rest of you to follow the fates of all the other characters!
‘Hail King Björn! Premieres on Dec 4!’
Fans were quick to comment and refused to believe this was the last of Floki.
‘FLOKI IS ALIVE NO ONE CAN CHANGE MY MIND,’ one wrote in necessary capitals, while another added: ‘Floki can’t die!!! You gotta be kidding!’
Someone else said: ‘He deffo made it out the cave, don’t do that to us.’
Fan theories then started to circulate that the character would return to Kattegat with Ivar The Boneless, as another assumed that Floki would reappear as a God.
Earlier this week, fans were treated to a full-length trailer for the upcoming and final series of Vikings.
Floki is not seen in the teaser, however, he is mentioned as his settlers say they want to search for their leader.
Explaining his whereabouts, Kjetill Flatnose (played by Adam Copeland) says: ‘You can search all you want, you will not find him.’
Vikings returns to the History Channel and Amazon Prime on 4 December.

Good Morning Britain and Piers Morgan in particular are definitely not adverse to tackling controversial topics head on. But even Susanna Reid may have reached her limit this morning when Piers asked viewers if they’d had sex in Pizza Express.
This was, of course, all in the effort to aid the struggling food firm, which many fear is about to fold amid urgent talks with creditors.
The former Britain’s Got Talent judge seemed to take the news badly, openly lamenting the business’ fate and pleading with viewers to help him save the Italian food chain.

‘We can’t let Pizza Express go under,’ he pleaded. ‘Please, tell me your stories. Did you fall in love in Pizza Express? Did you get divorced in Pizza Express? Did you have a fight in Pizza Express?’
Things took a turn for the worst when Piers made another bizarre request, asking audience members to relay intimate acts they may have performed in the restaurant.
‘Did you have sex in Pizza Express?’ Piers asked, giggling as co-host Susanna looked on even more mortified than usual. The former newspaper editor couldn’t resist taking the joke even further, though.
‘Let’s not bring Boris into it,’ he added with a smirk.

Christopher Eccleston opened up on how being so open and honest about his mental health – including his struggles with a life-long eating disorder lead to a brief ‘wobble’.
Speaking to Lorraine Kelly this morning, the former Doctor Who actor opened up about how in talking so candidly about his experiences with anorexia and depression he compromised his mental health.
The star’s new book, titled I Love the Bones of You, chronicles his relationship with body image and his struggles with seeing his father suffer with dementia.

‘I did have a wobble, a couple of weeks ago definitely,’ he told the Scottish presenter. ‘The pressure of [the book] and the exposure of talking about it in this way. What have I done, monetised my personal life? How has it affected my mum and dad?’
However, for Eccleston – who fronts The A-Word on BBC One – there was one thing to keep him focused and healthy – his children.
‘But I think, because I’m a parent, Albert and Esme keep me very focused,’ he shared. ‘It caused a bit of a wobble a couple of weeks ago with some of the issues that are in the book. The intensity and doing things like this, talking about it on television … there is a pressure there.’
