Lorraine Kelly was welcoming guest Mika onto her show this morning when a live gaffe seemed to suggest that the ghost of the late, great David Bowie gate-crashed the daytime talk show.
The Scottish presenter and the pop star were discussing their mutual love for the Ashes To Ashes hero when, at the very mention of his name, the lights in the studio went haywire, turning off and then turning a dark shade of green.
‘Oh! Hello!’ Lorraine exclaimed. ‘That’s quite spooky. We mentioned David Bowie and look what happened.’

‘Nobody did that,’ the presenter said. ‘That just happened!’
Fans watching the segment live are also convinced that they witnessed something supernatural take place.
lol, the ghost of David Bowie decides to turn off some lights in Lorraine Kelly's studio this morning. #Lorraine
After the supposed seance Bowie superfan Lorraine admitted it was ‘the great regret of my life’ to never meet the icon.
Perhaps her dreams just came true…
Very spooky indeed.

When talking about the spat on the Victoria Derbyshire show, lawyer Phil Sherrell, who works for the firm Bird and Bird, explained what Rebekah’s next move could be.
He said: ‘The question here is what does the person reading that tweet and Instagram post think she is saying?
‘Is she saying it is Rebekah? Or is she saying it is Rebekah’s account? When I read that, although the end bit talks about it being the account, there’s a couple of uses of the word “person” beforehand, I think there’s a good argument that is saying it is Rebekah, or at least very likely it is Rebekah.

She is carrying out a forensic investigation (Picture: David Fisher/REX)
‘At that point, Rebekah has a claim. But where does that take her? That takes her to court where we will establish if it’s true or not.’
He went on: ‘Everything on the internet is traceable to an individual, so we will be able to find out one way or another whether this was someone using Rebekah’s account without permission, or if it was her with the data behind it.’
Victoria asked: ‘So you can pinpoint exactly how you can find out who has had access to your account?’
To which Phil replied: ‘Yes, Rebekah will be able to go to Instagram and ask “which time and date my Instagram was accessed,” they will say for example, “10am on this Monday and someone accessed your account using this broadband account, say BT.”‘
He added: ‘So then we will go to BT and ask for the address that had that account, so we will get an address and get down to a person in a house.

Coleen has accused Rebekah of selling stories (Picture: Getty Images)
‘And it’s true, with everything on the internet, if you look hard enough you can find out who it is.’
She said: ‘There has been so much information given to them about me, my friends and my family – all without my permission or knowledge. After a long time of trying to figure out who it could be, for various reasons, I had a suspicion.
‘To try and prove this, I came up with an idea. I blocked everyone from viewing my Instagram stories except ONE account.’
She continued: ‘Over the past five months I have posted a series of false stories to see if they made their way into the Sun newspaper. And you know what, they did! The story about gender selection in Mexico, the story about returning to TV and then the latest story about the basement flooding in my new house.
‘It’s been tough keeping it to myself and not making any comment at all, especially when the stories have been leaked, however I had to. Now I know for certain which account/individual it’s come from.
‘I have saved and screenshotted all the original stories which clearly show just one person has viewed them. It’s…… Rebekah Vardy’s account.’
‘If you thought this was happening you could have told me and I could have changed my passwords to see if it stopped.
‘Over the years various people have had access to my Insta & just this week I found I was following people I didn’t know and have never followed myself.’
She said she was ‘so upset’ over the scandal and was struggling to deal with the stress of it all while pregnant.
The star added: ‘I’m disgusted that I’m even having to deny this. You should have called me the first time this happened.’
A spokesman for Coleen later insisted: ‘It is irrefutable that the leaks came from one account, and one account only.’

The issue became a topic of discussion on ITV’s This Morning, where hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby asked Danielle Lloyd and Lizzie Cundy on the matter.
Despite Rebekah denying the allegations, Danielle believes she is responsible – after claiming she’s had past troubles with her.

Speaking on the show, Danielle said: ‘I wasn’t as shocked. Because I’ve had run-ins with Rebekah before over similar things, so I wasn’t as shocked.
‘Obviously like everybody else you read it and you think, “Oh my gosh,” but I wasn’t as shocked seeing who it actually allegedly was.’
Asked whether she believes Rebekah is responsible, Danielle replied: ‘It’s definitely come from Becky’s account so who was it?
‘I think she did it. Sadly I really do. I think it’s a shame because she probably never thought she was going to get caught out.’

Asked for what reasons, Danielle said: ‘It’s obviously not the money, I think it’s the press issue. I think she thought maybe if she was feeding the press stories, she would maybe get more headlines for herself. I honestly don’t know.
‘I could never do that to somebody.’
Lizzie believes Coleen must have evidence to believe she’s responsible to out her in such a public way, adding: ‘It doesn’t mean you’re guilty just because you have friends who are journalists. I do a radio show with one but it doesn’t mean you’re doing that.
‘I think Coleen had to find the truth and I don’t think she would have gone to the measures of going and outing her unless she had concrete evidence.’
After making the claims live on air, Rebekah has since denied Danielle’s accusations they had ‘similar run-ins’ with a particularly scathing tweet.
‘‘Danielle Lloyd making false claims on @thismorning that we have had “similar run-ins” is utter boll**ks,’ Rebekah wrote.

Jon Snow’s murder of Daenerys Targaryen was one of the most talked-about moments of season 8 (Picture: HBO)
Game of Thrones’ final season cut one scene that could have been pivotal to fans’ understanding of one of the show’s most controversial moments: Jon Snow (Kit Harington) murdering Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke).
Jon decided to kill his lover and aunt when she basically committed genocide and obliterated King’s Landing with her dragon, Drogon, after she had sworn to take the city peacefully.
But now, fans are able to glimpse concept art from the planning of the finale for the first time, revealing that another scene leading up to this moment had been cut.

In both versions of the scene, Jon meets Drogon outside the palace (Picture: HBO)
The book The Art of Game of Thrones reveals that the show’s head honchos axed an entire sequence that would have seen the secret Targaryen heir journey through the destroyed King’s Landing before meeting with the Mother of Dragons.
The sketches, signed off by the show’s production designer Deborah Riley, would have shown us a conflicted Jon journey through the ruins of the great city – before meeting the Unsullied army for a final time.
Seeing the former Night’s Watch Commander so conflicted about his decision to kill his lover – and coming face to face with her most loyal protectors – may have well helped fans to process the tragic decision that was to come.
‘As Jon heads into the Red Keep, struggling with a choice only he can make, he comes upon a huge pile of snow that reveals itself as a sleeping Drogon,’ the scene’s caption reads. ‘Recognising Jon Snow, Drogon allows him to pass through the door that leads to the throne room… Unsullied soldiers guard below.’

A storyline involving Tyrion Lannister killing his nephew Joffrey was also cut (Picture: HBO)
Fans will know that the King in the North’s meeting with Westeros’ last dragon was kept in the show, and provided a useful bit of foretelling for Drogon’s destruction of the Iron Throne after his mother’s murder.
Game of Thrones seasons one to eight are available to stream on NOW TV.

A luxury house in Devon sparked outrage with Grand Designs viewers last night, with some branding it ‘grotesque’ while others said it was the ‘saddest episode ever’.
Both locals and viewers took to social media following the show to share their views on Chesil Cliff House which is located in Croyde, North Devon.
Even by presenter Kevin McCloud’s standards, he admitted this £3.2m home was something ‘very special’.
Image may be NSFW. Clik here to view.
The house sparked anger from viewers and locals (Picture: Channel 4)
The unique location at Down End Point boasts panoramic views across Croyde Bay to the north as well as to Saunton beach and Braunton Burrows to the south.
The luxury home features a huge circular tower based on a lighthouse design and will also boast a spectacular ‘glass edge’ infinity swimming pool, a home cinema and a sauna and steam room.
Owner Edward White described the house, which he borrowed £1.8 million to convert, as a little boy’s dream, but his wife had a different view, labelling it a ‘nightmare’.

One viewer called the house ‘grotesque’ (Picture: Channel 4)
There had been setbacks from the start as lending was restricted by the banks and the project didn’t start until four years after it was originally planned.
Then there were changes in the plans, designs being altered and money running out before the project could really get off the ground.
And viewers were on Edward’s wife side when it came to optimism about the project.
One person said: ‘Is it just the recession that made banks say no or the building on the edge of a cliff face?’
Another noted: ‘I want to borrow £1.8 million to knock down a £1.4 million house and build another, on a cliff that’s falling into the sea.’

Another said: ‘Oh god, a £1.8 million loan to build A HOUSE! Surely common sense should win over blind ambition at some point…’
And it wasn’t just the project’s funding that people weren’t impressed with – the design was certainly not to everyone’s tastes.
One person went as far to say that the house was over the top and ‘grotesque’.
They tweeted: ‘From a Devon resident I have to say the property on the North Devon coast featured tonight is both grotesque and an architectural blight on the landscape. He clearly has no design aesthetic. Understated can deliver better than OTT design.’
One added said: ‘This guy with his cliffside compound is the worst James Bond villain.’

What do you make of the luxury house? (Picture: Channel 4)
Another said: ‘Finding this a rather uncomfortable watch! Watching 3 million pounds just being thrown around to build a house whilst I’m struggling to save enough money to even get on the property ladder!’
The showpiece of the build is the large rotunda-like lighthouse which features a ‘storm room’ viewing level at the very top.
And while Edward described this as a little boy’s dream, his wife said it was more of a ‘nightmare’ as the stalled project ended up plunging the pair deep into debt.
The triple glazed glass windows for the home cost £200,000 alone – way more than the average cost of a standard house build.
The couple decided to build a separate property on the site called The Eye which they ended up needing to sell to fund the rest of the project as costs spiralled.
Image may be NSFW. Clik here to view.
The house in Croyde wasn’t everyone’s taste (Picture: Channel 4)
But they were advised not to sell it while the lighthouse was being built as the ongoing works would devalue it, leaving them in a Catch 22 scenario.
The final visit from presenter Kevin was in September 2019 – eight years after they started and two years since Kevin’s previous visit.
But Kevin was greeted with disappointment as the project was nowhere near finished – with Edward admitting that funding problems have created what is viewed locally as an eyesore.
Edward admitted the costs to get to just this stage have hit around £3 million, with around £2 million needed to finish it.
But it was The Eye that captured the imagination of Kevin who was mesmerised by the view of the only building finished on the site – which cost less than a third of the unfinished lighthouse.
However, no one is allowed to live in it due to the building site next door posing a health and safety hazard – a situation Kevin described as tragic.
Edward revealed that he and his partner separated during the project which he said was likely to be down to him and his ambition for the project.
He still hopes to finish the project but believes it may be some time until he is able to do so.
Grand Designs airs Wednesday at 9pm on Channel 4.

Coleen, 33, has since been dubbed ‘Wagatha Christie’ after she hatched an elaborate plan to catch whoever was leaking her stories to the press.
Rebekah, 37, has denied that she’s the culprit and claimed someone hacked her account, but Nicola claims she is struggling to cope with all the memes and trolling she’s received.
Speaking on Jeremy Vine this morning, Nicola said: ‘I don’t know Coleen but I do know Rebekah and what she’s going through is what nobody should have to go through so publicly.
‘She’s got people saying they hope her baby dies inside her. She’s seven months pregnant, she’s had to take her daughter out of school.

She also doesn’t agree with all the memes that have arrived in their thousands since Coleen’s tweet.
Nicola added: ‘I think we’re quick to sit here and say social media, the bullying, it’s horrendous, young girls are having such bad anxiety with it.

Phillip Schofield has left viewers in bits after showing his disdain to the idea of a salad pasty, leading him to joke Jamie Oliver is ‘filthy pervert’.
Jamie, 44, joined This Morning hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield to cook some special vegetarian meals, including a pasty filled with potatoes, onions, mushrooms, and black pepper.
The veggie pasty had to pass the Schofield taste test, however, who deemed himself a pasty connoisseur: ‘Grew up in Cornwall mate, of course.’
Speaking about the pasty, Jamie said: ‘A lot of people that are trying to cut meat out or go a bit lighter, think they can’t have these delicious things. So a flaky classic pastry and then I’ve got the classic potatoes, onions, mushrooms, in here with lots of black pepper.’

Rod Stewart’s wife Penny Lancaster broke down in tears discussing his cancer battle (Picture: ITV)
Rod Stewart’s wife Penny Lancaster broke down in tears opening up about his cancer battle.
The 48-year-old appeared on Loose Women where she discussed the Maggie May singer’s health issues, after he underwent a secret battle with prostate cancer.
Speaking about the ordeal, she told the ITV panellists he had a string of tests before they were given the tragic news.
‘We got the shock news that it was cancer,’ she said. ‘We looked at the different ways of dealing with it, one was to have the gland removed, another was chemotherapy, radiation therapy.’
When asked if it was quite aggressive, she continued: ‘It was. A lot of these cancers can be living within you for many, many years and grow quite slowly, but with Rod, it was an aggressive one.
‘Instead of remaining in the gland, it left the gland and travelled to the outside tissues. So that was another scary moment where we had to have more invasive tests and scans to see if it was anywhere else in his body, which was the most frightening test of all.’

Tearing up, she told the ITV panellists: ‘But it hadn’t [gone anywhere].

As if we didn’t love him enough, H from Steps has shared another behind the scenes video of him rehearsing for the upcoming series of Dancing On Ice – but it’s not all smooth sailing.
Ian ‘H’ Watkins shared a clip to his Twitter account of him doing the dance moves to Tragedy while trying to rehearse for the show – although he falls over a lot in the process.
In the video the former singer can be seen doing the dance moves to Tragedy, which was one of Steps’ biggest hits (and yes we were doing the dance moves while writing this).

Even though there’s no music playing, you can’t help but laugh along with the star as he continues to fall over while attempting to do some knee slides along the ice.
The star keeps practicing while giggling to himself as he slides (not so gracefully) until the end when he successfully manages to ace the move, finishing with a twirl.
Professional skater Matt Evers has paired up with H ahead of the ITV competition returning in January, as the first same-sex couple, and today the singer shared a behind-the-scenes look to Twitter.

A source told Metro.co.uk last night that H had asked Dancing On Ice bosses whether he could be matched with a professional of the same gender.
‘After conversations with the Dancing on Ice production team, H enquired as to the possibility of being paired with a male pro skater,’ they said.
The insider continued: ‘Dancing on Ice were fully supportive of a same-sex partnership and as such this year H will be paired with Matt Evers.’

During the 2018 series, former judge Jason Gardiner backed the call for same-sex couples to join the rink.
‘I’m sure ITV would have no problem with embracing it,’ he said. ‘It would be great to have a same-sex couple.’
However, the panelist, who has now been replaced by John Barrowman, was quick to add that those in a same-sex partnership may have their work cut out for them.
Jason explained: ‘When you’ve got two men, generally you’ve got similar heights and weights.
‘That’s when it starts getting difficult. It’s very difficult to put somebody your own size above your head.’
The upcoming 2020 series of Dancing On Ice will see the return of Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean and Ashley Banjo to the panel, and This Morning duo Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby as hosts.
The star-studded line-up was confirmed earlier this month, with the likes of Caprice Bourret and Trisha Goddard donning their skates.
Dancing On Ice returns to ITV in January 2020.

The episode Band In China has caused a stir in the country (Picture: Comedy Central)
A South Park episode which got the show banned in China has been screened on the streets of Hong Kong in protest.
The show’s recent season 23 episode Band In China, which explores how Hollywood shapes its content to avoid offending Chinese government censors, led to South Park’s existence on Chinese internet being reportedly wiped altogether.
Following attention around the episode, pictures have been shared on social media of Band In China being shown on a projector screen in Hong Kong’s Sham Shui Po district as protests against China continue in the country.
Posting on social media, journalist and author Kong Tsung-gan, wrote: ‘Tonight in Sham Shui Po, @SouthPark episode Band In China shown on street to large & appreciative audience.

It’s unclear who set up the screening, with the protests organised in such a way to protect participants involved.
South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker recently issued a comical statement in response to the online removal, which read: ‘Like the NBA, we welcome the Chinese censors into our homes and into our hearts.

Mariah Carey has shared her love for Stranger Things and Millie Bobby Brown (Picture: Getty/Netflix)
Stranger Things bosses had their prayers answered by none other than Mariah Carey, after the superstar blessed the show with her (and her kids’) support for star Millie Bobby Brown.
A tweet from the official Twitter account of the Stranger Things writers room asked one simple question: ‘Any Millie Bobby Brown fans in the house?’
Of course, the Eleven actress is quite popular with fans of the sci-fi show, so there was a big reaction. But one reply we think the writers didn’t bet on was from the Queen of Christmas herself, Mariah.
Stranger Things seasons 1-3 are available to stream now on Netflix.

The Love Me For A Reason singer sadly passed away from a heart defect back in 2009, aged 33.
And, during an appearance on Loose Women, Ronan Keating, Shane Lynch, Keith Duffy and Mikey Graham opened up about wanting to keep his memory alive between themselves.
Speaking about their final tour, Ronan told the ITV panellists: ‘I think it was something we all felt. After Stephen passed, the band really changed. It wasn’t the same band anymore, things changed.
‘We thought it was the right to come back, make another album and continue on. [But] it just felt different. The chemistry between us was different.
‘What was special was, when the four of us were together, we felt he was in the room and on the stage with us. We didn’t want that to go away so we kept that going.

Speculation has been spreading about Roman potentially appearing on the show (Picture: Getty)
Roman Kemp has refused to deny the rumours that he’s set to take part on this year’s series of I’m A Celebrity.
The Capital Breakfast presenter, who’s currently putting us all to shame as he travels around the country for the No Money Road Trip as he raises money for Global’s Make Some Noise, opened up on the recent rumours.
‘Listen, I get asked to do thousands of shows like that all the time, it’s just about focusing on what I’ve got right now,’ he admitted.
‘[The No Money Road Trip] is the biggest thing for me right now and there’s been such an amazing response, I can’t get over it to be honest.’
When asked if that’s a definite no for shows like I’m A Celeb at the moment, the 26-year-old laughed: ‘You’d have to see, you’d have to see.’
Safe to say, we’re not too envious of him right now.
Not mincing his words about just how difficult the challenge is, Roman explained about his 80-mile cycle the previous day: ‘I was just absolutely broken by yesterday. That was the hardest thing I’ve ever done.
‘For keen cyclists, that’s a decent ride but for someone who’s never ridden a bike with gears before, it was just horrendous.’

Meanwhile, Roman admitted he’s had to take some pretty extreme measures to keep his mum from seeing what he’s up to.
Chatting about getting a call from his parents, he said: ‘It was really nice, to be honest everyone else was getting emotional!
‘It’s just nice to hear from them. It’s my dad’s birthday today so I wanted to call him but I couldn’t. So it was nice to hear his voice.
‘They just think I’m an idiot to be honest. They’re like, “Why are you doing this?”. If I had my phone, I’d probably not be doing it because my mum would be going, “Stop, stop, stop”.
The star added: ‘I’ve actually asked the Capital guys if they can block my mum from the account so they don’t see what I’m doing!’
Brutal.

The Circle favourite Tim was an instant hit with viewers thanks to his eccentric personality and lovable demeanor, but now the theology professor has divided viewers by stanning Margaret Thatcher.
During last night’s episode, the contestants were discussing politics, when Tim shook all of Twitter.
‘I adore Mrs Thatcher,’ he said.
He also riled up millions when declared the former Prime Minister ‘got it right’.
In turn, viewers flocked to Twitter to share their dismay (and shock) at the dramatic turn of events.
Another added: ‘Please don’t ruin it for yourself Tim.’
Fans also made the point that Tim, a gay man, showing his support for the former Conservative leader didn’t exactly line up with her stance on LGBT+ rights.

Tim now faces a backlash against viewers (Picture: Channel 4)
‘How can Tim as a gay man say Margaret Thatcher “got it right”?’ one critic asked. ‘When section 28 went through on her watch?
Section 28 was a law passed by Thatcher’s government which made the ‘promotion’ of homosexuality illegal throughout schools and local authorities in Britain.
No Tim.. Thatcher was a terrible prime minister. Her stance on LGBT+ rights was disgusting. #TheCircle
Have seriously gone off #TheCircle with the amount of Thatcher sycophants in there. Tim especially. An educated, articulate, intelligent gay man who lived through that era, and he's a Thatcher fan-boy? The failure of the British education system laid bare to see.
Of course, some fans still supported Tim, and praised the 58-year-old for speaking his mind.
If you liked Tim but now don’t because he liked Thatcher then you need to have a long hard look at yourself in the mirror. You can like someone who has different political views to you #TheCircle
I don't care on the Tim Thatcher stuff.. no one is perfect, he is still the best by a country mile + at least he has been open and honesty throughout which is more that can be said for most of the others #TheCircle#Backstabbers

‘Life is good,’ the Dancing on Ice contestant grinned. ‘I’m very happy and I’ve got [my daughter] this weekend. I’m introducing her to my fella for this weekend for the first time and that’s a big step as well.’
Although Duncan did admit that while the relationship is still in the ‘very early stages’, he still seemed completely besotted.
In one post, taken from when the couple went on a holiday in the summer, the One Love hitmaker said that the positive response he got from pans upon uploading a loving snap made him ‘proud to be gay.’
Tonight, however, does see Duncan enter the First Dates Hotel, all in the aid of Stand Up to Cancer. Sitting with Lorraine this morning, Duncan admitted that the hunky potential partner we saw him sharing a meal with in a promo for tonight’s episode was ‘cute.’
While the chart-topper wouldn’t confirm or deny how his dinner date goes on the Channel 4 series goes tonight, he did say how visiting the dating resort was an invaluable experience for him, encouraging the star to be more open about his sexuality.
‘I’d never done anything like this before,’ he told Lorraine. ‘I always felt anxious about going out in front of the media with a partner. I got approached and got asked to do this for Stand Up to Cancer. I’m a huge fan of First Dates so to get to go to the hotel in Italy, I had to do it.’
Lorraine airs weekdays from 8.30am on ITV. First Dates Hotel airs tonight at 9pm on Channel 4.

A Bachelorette Australia contestant is under investigation for alleged breach of conduct from his employer after his appearance on the show (Picture: Facebook/Ten)
A contestant on The Bachelorette Australia is being investigated by his employers after he allegedly breached codes of conduct by appearing on the reality show.
Jess Glasgow, who appeared on the premiere of the latest series, is understood to now be under investigation by Noosa Council. The Aussie had revealed to the Bachelorette, Angie Kent, that he works as a councillor, but had ambitions to run for mayor.
In a statement, the current Mayor of Noosa, Tony Wellington, said that Glasgow’s appearance on the series was not ‘reflective of Noosa Council, nor the wider community’s values’.

‘Cr Glasgow did not seek approval from myself and I only found out about his involvement after the show had been recorded,’ the Mayor said according to news.com.au.
The councillor has already made a pretty solid first impression – as a classic reality TV villain. In the premiere episode, he revealed his lack of interest in spending time with the Bachelorette and said that, if offered the 24-hour rose, he would decline it.
Glasgow is now, however, making headlines for his conduct both in and out of the show. In an interview with Australian media personality Ben Fordham, Mayor Wellington also confirmed that Glasgow’s case will be referred to the Office Of The Independent Assessor.

In a separate interview with Sunshine Coast Daily, the contestant and councillor disputed the Mayor’s claims and said he had ‘approval and support’ to enter the dating competition.
‘I do not think I brought Noosa Council or Noosa into disrepute,’ he said. ‘It’s reality television. I did not say anything with malice or anything that was disrespectful.’
