Hollyoaks unleashes mega trailer showcasing 56 classic soap storylines in 198 seconds – but how many do you remember?

Twenty years worth of Hollyoaks storylines have been crammed into a 198-second video and the results speak for themselves.

The Channel 4 soap, which celebrates its 20th anniversary next week, has unleashed a mega trailer showing 56 of the greatest ever Hollyoaks storylines in just over three minutes’ worth of footage.

From bomb explosions to murders to shootings to affairs to disastrous marriages to van doors falling from the sky – Hollyoaks has it all.

It’s the perfect way to catch up on the goings-on in Chester leading up to the special anniversary episodes, which will reveal the identity of the gloved hand killer, next week.

Hollyoaks turns 20 next week, with the exciting episodes kicking off on Monday October 19th.

Arab graffiti artists decorated Homeland set with tags accusing show of racism

Homeland’s latest episode featured hidden graffiti messages accusing the show of racism, painted by Arab artists.

The group were hired to add authenticity to scenes set in a fictional refugee camp – but now they have revealed they used the opportunity to write messages including: ‘Homeland is racist’.

Walls on the Berlin set also featured the slogans ‘Homeland is a joke, and it didn’t make us laugh’, ‘#blacklivesmatter’, ‘Homeland is NOT a series’ and ‘Freedom… now in 3-D!’.

He was already winning the internet with his string of victories and his unique smiles but Jeopardy contestant Matt Jackson made everyone fall in love with him even more with a surprisingly honest gesture. 

The player has taken the long-running U.S. quiz show by storm of late, bringing in a lots of extra attention from viewers as he stormed to a 13 victory spree.

As fans became besotted with him, he showed an even nicer side when he came clean to the show’s judges that he had gotten an answer wrong which they had just assumed he had mispronounced.

EastEnders to air a special hour long episode for dramatic Halloween storylines

EastEnders fans are in for a spooky Halloween treat as the BBC soap is treating them to a bumper edition of creepy Walford action. 

The hour long episode, which will air on Friday 30th October from 7:30pm, is tipped to be unmissable too, with a number of long running storylines set to come to the forefront with new developments.

Viewers have recently enjoyed the return of Kathy Beale to Walford and, while details of the storylines involved in the Halloween special remain under wraps, it seems a given that her plotline will be somehow involved.

Additionally, producer Dominic Treadwell-Collins has previously suggested that Halloween would be a big time for Stacey Branning.

Just when you thought The Jeremy Kyle Show couldn’t possibly get any more far-fetched, it’s only gone and outdone itself.

Because not content with having actual living, breathing humans on Thursday morning’s show, events took a turn for the seriously weird as one guest showed up with her dead mother-in-law’s ashes in tow.

Awwwww! Vin Diesel shares adorable text from his seven-year-old daughter on TV

This might just be the most adorable clip we’ve seen all day – and it comes courtesy of Vin Diesel.

The actor – who’s returning to screens later this month in The Last Witch Hunter – revealed to Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show that his seven-year-old daughter Hania sends him text messages on set.

Except he couldn’t resist the opportunity to play the doting dad and share one with the audience.

‘My seven-year-old daughter has an iPhone now,’ he explained, ‘and she just texted me this, if I can read it to you.’

He went on to melt audience hearts by reading: ‘Hi, daddy. I love you so much, I am so proud of you. I miss you so much, I believe in you that you will make an awesome movie. I love you so much, I miss you so much.’

Travelodge asked 2,000 British adults who their favourite puppet was as part of their new ad campaign.

The big winners are hardly surprising: Sooty takes the top spot, Kermit the Frog takes runner-up and Gordon the Gopher comes third.

There are game show fails. And then there’s this little effort from a recent edition of US favourite Wheel Of Fortune.

The episode in question – which aired in the US on Thursday – left its contestants with a fairly straightforward puzzle to solve in one particular round.

First Dates was a bit on the awkward side thanks to a row over who should pay the bill.

Despite getting on well initially, glamorous Elle, 30, and fireman Mark, 38, were at loggerheads after she handed him the £136.99 bill and expected him to cover it.

Viewers hid behind their cushions as she told him: ‘Oh, you need to pay the bill… Of course I’m giving it to you. I never pay the bill on dates. Why would I?’.

‘Why wouldn’t you?’ the dad-of-three replied.

Twitter can’t get over how much Rylan Clark and Conchita Wurst look like each other

2014’s Eurovision winner Conchita Wurst was the special guest on ITV’s This Morning – and no-one could get over how much she looked like Rylan Clark.

You have to admit, the resemblance is uncanny.

In the lead up to Conchita’s appearance former X Factor contestant Rylan couldn’t get over his excitement at meeting the Queen of the Euro, with Eamonn Holmes at one point asking Rylan: ‘Can’t you act professional?’

‘I can’t, I love her!’ Ryan exclaimed.

Twitter also was shocked by the similarities, although at one point Eamonn told Conchita that she looked like ”a cross between Zayn Malik and Kim Kardashian’.
