Is Jacqueline in line to take part in X Factor? (Picture: ITV)
Ex-Eastenders star Jacqueline Jossa is reportedly thinking of trading the Vic for some vocal lessons after being approached for Celebrity X Factor.
The actress has allegedly been putting plans in place after leaving the BBC soap two years ago, and is now considering a vast career change.
‘She couldn’t keep it a secret and has been telling pals she’s so excited and can’t wait to show off her amazing voice,’ a source told The Sun Online.
Metro.co.uk has contacted X Factor for comment.
Her potential career move comes after the mum-of-two launched a performing arts academy for youngsters.
However, while she might be up for it, Jacqueline has some serious competition for a spot, and with months to go, it’s still all to play for.
Jacqueline reportedly wants to show off her singing voice (Picture: Rex)
The long-running ITV singing series is meant to be having a huge rebrand this year after falling ratings in 2018.
Instead, it’s been said they will be focusing on two separate series – a celebrity version of the show, and an all-stars version where previous stars return.
Robbie Williams and Ayda Field have also quit the show after only one series, leaving a massive gap on the judges panel.
Louis Tomlinson’s future on the show is also in doubt, after a difficult start to the year saw the sudden death of his sister amid a musical career relaunch.
As a result, while leaving the door open for him, Simon Cowell has said publicly that he feels Louis’s ‘attention’ should be elsewhere as he comes to terms with the loss.
The X Factor returns later this year.

Pua Magasiva, who played the Red Ranger in the mid-2000s rebooted TV show Power Rangers has died age 38.
Pua was found early on Saturday morning in a Wellington, New Zealand home and police have confirmed there are no suspicious circumstances.
‘There are no suspicious circumstances and the death will be referred to the coroner,’ the police said.
The actor, best known for his work on the TV show as well as long-running New Zealand soap Shortland Street, on which he had starred since 1994 as nurse Vinnie Kruse-Miller.
He left the show in 2006 but made his return in 2011 before leaving again in April 2018.
He then appeared in the 2003-2004 series Power Rangers Ninja Storm as Shane Clarke / Red Wind Ranger.
‘We are all absolutely devastated at the tragic news regarding Pua Magasiva,’ shared Shortland Street’s social accounts.
‘Pua was a much loved member of the South Pacific Pictures’ family for many years and our hearts and thoughts go out to Pua’s family at this time.’
In 2017, Magasiva pleaded guilty to a drink-driving charge.
He was sentenced to 80 hours community service and was disqualified from holding a driver’s license for 13 months; it was thought to be his third conviction for drink-driving.
He married his wife Lizz Sadler in April 2018 after the pair met on Instagram; he also has a daughter from a previous relationship.
Shortland Street actress Kerry-Lee Dewing posted a simple message on Instagram which read ‘RIP’ and a broken heart emoji while friend Cassie Roma said her heart was ‘so, so sore’.
‘Please, if you need help, reach out. I know it’s hard. We can all do hard things. Go well, Pua. Go well.’
Actor Jay Laga’aia said he was devastated: ‘I worked with him only a fortnight ago and thought how easy our young Polynesian talents thrive in this industry. My thoughts go out to his family.’
Game Of Thrones is losing a lot of players in the show’s final episodes (Picture: HBO)
Game Of Thrones has been known to throw some heartbreaking moments in our direction during its time on the show, but none of them will set off the chain reaction like the sudden death that happened in episode four.
Now, it’s officially war, with the brutal execution also marking the beginning of something more ferocious as the show goes all in on its final two episodes.
But there’s one person who’s a little bit bummed out they are missing out on the action – the person that was killed off in last week’s final moments.
Ready to see who it is? If not look away….now.
***WARNING: From now on there are spoilers and it’s your own fault if you ignore this***
Missandei’s death will trigger the war to end the fight for Westeros (Picture: HBO)
After Nathalie Emmanuel’s character Missandei met her maker with a public execution on the castle of King’s Landing, things go sour really quickly.
With Grey Worm not wanting to lose her, Nathalie admits that she wasn’t ready to go home either – and felt her character should’ve been given a more deserving ending.
Speaking to Making Game Of Thrones’ blog, she said: ‘We meet Missandei as an enslaved person in chains, and then she dies in chains. I really felt the weight and tragedy of that and what that meant — not just in the show, but in the world.
‘It felt like a punch in the gut.’
Grey Worm has nothing to lose now that Missandei has been killed (Picture: HBO)
Despite her death sentence, Missandei remained defiant until the end – and with one final word “dracarys”, she ignited a sense of war and fire in Daenerys and Grey Worm that can take down the whole of King’s Landing.
Then there’s that final tricky decision – who ends up on the Iron Throne?
With only two weeks to go we don’t have long to find out…
Game Of Thrones continues Sundays on HBO and Sky Atlantic

Nina West has left the contest and we are furious ((Picture: VH1)
There’s never been a clearer Miss Congeniality on RuPaul’s Drag Race than Nina West.
Serving us looks, comedy and camp, Nina was the heart and soul of season 11, and had improved so much that fans thought she was a shoe-in for the final four. But, in this week’s episode, hearts worldwide were broken and tempers flared when Nina was sent home in a controversial lip sync against Silky Nutmeg Ganache.
Since her elimination aired, Drag Race fans have aired their disbelief and inundated Nina with support and praise. And, in classic Nina fashion, she is humbled and shocked by how beloved she has become.
Speaking to Metro.co.uk, the 39-year-old said: ‘It’s really weird that now, all these months later, to see the world seeing your experience that felt so gut-wrenchingly personal. I had a lot of time to prep for it and deal with it, but I’m actually shocked by the reaction, and really grateful for it.
‘When you’re in the thick of it, you see tweets, but I only see what’s happening on my social media. I don’t go looking for comments, I avoided that. Now it’s overwhelming, because it’s all over my feed, and it’s all over my Twitter and Instagram and Facebook. I was just blissfully unaware of how much of an impact I was having. I knew there was people who liked me, but I wasn’t prepared for this.’
And nobody has taken Nina more under their wing than the United Kingdom. Nina represents an old school, classic, camp drag that has become a rarity on recent series of Drag Race, and speaks to the drag UK and Ireland audiences know and love – the comedic queens whose make-up may not be fishy, whose silhouette may not be hourglass, but who can entertain, goddammit.
Nina accepted critique every week (Picture: VH1)
As we told Nina how much of an international treasure she had become amongst British drag bars and fans, she literally screamed.
‘Let me tell you, that is so crazy! That is so nuts to me. I noticed two weeks ago I was trending in the UK. I was like “how is this even a thing”? You can’t believe how exciting this is to me. I’ve always dreamed of going to the UK and England… it’s crazy the reaction. I can’t wait to get there. The British fans have been the best.’
Nina, real name Andrew Levitt, has been doing drag for 18 years, auditioning for Drag Race nine times, and is far from an Instagram queen. Despite her style of drag earning her plaudits including the 2008 Entertainer of the Year title, it is now an anomaly in Drag Race, where fish is the catch of every day and cinched waists and couture often take precedence over campy performances and belly laughs. But amongst all the look queens, Nina didn’t feel like she had to change who she was.
She said: ‘I didn’t feel like I had to change, but I did feel that pressure. I knew pretty quickly, around episode two, episode three that my looks were not elevated enough. But then also, I kind of leaned into that a little bit. That’s who I am, I have the personality, and I can sell what’s on my body. But what I’m wearing is so pivotal to my drag.
‘As an artist, I tell stories through my outfit and it helps me create that character, that’s what I connected to. I felt that pressure, but I couldn’t succumb to it, or change it, because that’s not who I am. It would have been inauthentic of me, and that’s how it would have read.’
Nina is easily Miss Congeniality (Picture: Getty Images)
On Drag Race, Nina did change – but for the better. In a refreshing change from strops being thrown during critiques, Nina was seen soaking up advice like Monet X Change’s sponge, smiling and listening as Michelle Visage told her to work on her padding or her blending. This resulted in some killer looks, like that sublime kaftan look and the jaw-dropping red and white polka dot ensemble. Meanwhile, other queens gave the stink eye as they were told their looks hadn’t quite hit the mark – something Nina is baffled by.
‘I’m like, hello? If someone is telling you from a place of love how to make yourself better, why wouldn’t you listen to that? People don’t know how to take critique or give critique, everybody wants to be patted on the back. I’m being doing this long enough to know – 18 years, I’ve been doing drag – if someone gives you the opportunity to be better, why wouldn’t I want that? Girls would kill to have advice from Michelle Visage. As harsh as people think she is, it’s coming from a place of love. She’s like, “listen girl, this is what will make it better”. I don’t get people who go on the show and have the attitude of “my drag is already perfect” – then girl, why are you there? This is an experience for you to be better. At the end of the day, only one of us is going to win, you might as well make the best of it and be better.’
Nina is leaving Drag Race with elevated drag, a new knowledge of silhouettes and a huge fanbase – which is giving her the confidence to follow a long-held dream.
She said: ‘I’m releasing pre-order for two EPs – one’s a comedy EP called John Goodman, and it’s all about me being a giant man in a dress. And then I’m really excited to do something really different, because it’s been a long time goal of mine to have my own kids’ show, and my own Mrs Doubtfire-esque brand. So I’m releasing a children’s music album.
‘I recognise it’s going to be controversial. Some people are going to have a hard time with someone who is dressing in opposite gender clothing talking to children about things like drag. But it’s also really important. We live in such a crazy world where kids are told they’re not good enough, they’re told that if they’re different in any kind of way, whether that’s their skin colour, or their gender, or their gender expression, it’s wrong. It’s important to lift people up – kids especially, who are innocent and really are the future. It’s important we lead with love. Forever and a day I’ve wanted to step into that territory and I just can’t wait to do it, I hope people connect to it.’
And as for Nina’s pilgrimage to the UK? ‘I’m gonna come over there, I’m gonna meet an adorable British man and get married.’

Everyone, that is, except Gogglebox’s Jenny Newby, who managed to predict the name correctly – in scenes the show creator insists were genuine.
The Channel 4 star, who owns a caravan near Hull with her friend Lee Riley, told the camera: ‘I think they might call him Archie.
‘I think Archie would suit him lovely.’
Fans at home quickly took to Twitter, with some accusing the show of setting it up, whilst others claimed the episode had been recorded after Meghan and Harry revealed their child’s name, and then edited to appear as though they were watching it live.
One Twitter user fumed: ‘It’s so fake now… there’s no way in hell none of them knew about the baby’s birth or the name before they watched the news?
‘It was 2 separate events, 2 days apart, and they’re all wearing the same clothes?’
Impossible though it may seem, she Jenny guessed correctly (Picture: E4)
Another said: ‘That clip of Jenny “guessing” the name was clearly recorded after the name was made public’ whilst others were convinced of Jenny’s psychic abilities.
‘”Archie would suit him.” Jenny is psychic #Gogglebox’ one viewer added.
Speculation was rife, and it prompted Gogglebox creator Tania Alexander to set the record straight.
Taking to Twitter, she confirmed Jenny’s guess was genuine, telling fans: ‘I would just like to confirm that our Jenny did genuinely guess the name Archie before it was announced @leegogglebox #gogglebox #geniusjenny.’
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex revealed the news hours after they introduced their firstborn into the world.
Archie is a shortened version of the name Archibald, a name of German origin which means ‘true and bold.’
It is also a shortened version of the name Arthur – a favourite of the bookies for the new baby’s name, and is of Celtic origin meaning ‘bear.’
The little boy’s middle name, Harrison, quite fittingly means ‘son of Harry.’
Googlebox airs Friday nights at 9pm on Channel 4.

With that in mind, here are 10 shows to help you through the TBBT withdrawal as the final season draws to a close.
Mom
Anna Farris and Oscar-winner Alison Janney star together in this sitcom as single mom Christy and her mom Bonnie.
The show follows Christy as she tries to navigate sobriety as her estranged, passive-aggressive and recovering alcoholic mother re-enters her life.
If you’re looking for a dysfunctional family comedy with a stellar cast and the ability to handle more serious topics with aplomb, then Mom is the show for you.
Modern Family
Another now-classic comedy series, Modern Family took on a mockumentary format to showcase the various trials and tribulations of three very different yet related families.
The show has been going since 2009, and has won 21 Primetime Emmy Awards and six Writers Guild of America Awards, so it’s nothing to turn your nose up at.
If you’ve got a Sky membership, you can tune in to episodes of Modern Family right now on the Sky Go app – so what are you waiting for?
If you’re after some side-splitting and highly relatable comedy with well-rounded characters to boot, then, if you haven’t already, give Modern Family a try
Brooklyn Nine-Nine
Fan-favourite show Brooklyn Nine-Nine follows a group of NYPD police detectives as they live and work in New York City, getting up to various hijinks and solving crimes.
We’re currently in the middle of season six, with new episodes airing on E4 on Thursdays.
NINE NINE!
How I Met Your Mother
How I Met Your Mother was another long-running sitcom success which pretty much did what it said on the tin.
For nine seasons, it followed the events told retrospectively by a father, Ted, to his children about – you guessed it – how he met their mother.
Chronicling Ted’s dating mishaps and misadventures with his friends, it ran from 2005 until 2014, with re-runs regularly being shown in E4.
Family Guy
As a satire of the small-town american family, Family Guy definitely goes to extremes with its take on comedy.
Seminal and boundary pushing, Family Guy is an animated comedy that errs on the side of twisted, but for those of you you are looking for something more irreverent in the wake of TBBT, then this could be the show for you.
Definitely not one to watch with the kids, you can catch late-night episodes on ITV2.
The Goldbergs
The Goldbergs transports viewers back to the 80s, as the outrageous antics of family life are told through the eyes of 11-year-old Adam.
If you like your family comedy with a health dose of nostalgia, then this is the show for you – you can tune in on E4.
Frasier
An oldie but a goodie, Frasier ran for over a decade.
It followed neurotic radio therapist Dr. Frasier Crane, his possibly even more neurotic brother, their easy-going father and their friends as they try to deal with what the world throws at them.
You can catch reruns on Channel Four on the regular.
New Girl
In New Girl, Zooey Deschanel starred at the titular new girl who found herself in need of a new apartment sharpish after she caught her boyfriend cheating in a rather, erm, compromising position.
If you find yourself missing the dysfunctional friendship-turned-family vibe that TBBT had to offer, then the reruns of New Girl on E4 should do the trick.
Baby Daddy
This sitcom is about a carefree and single bartender from NYC whose life takes a very sharp turn when his ex-girlfriend leaves a baby girl on his doorstep.
It ran from 2012 until 2017, but never fear, because if Baby Daddy sounds like the show for you, reruns air regularly on E4.
Friends
Surely Friends, one of the most enduringly popular comedy shows of all time, needs no introduction – but you made it this far, so we’ll give you one anyway.
Friends details the various shenanigans of six, well, friends as they try to navigate love, family and their careers in New York City.
Of a similar ilk to Seinfeld, if you haven’t given Friends a try yet, then frankly, it’s a little bit worrying, but you can tune in on Netflix or on Comedy Central.
Even if you have seen it already, if you’re missing the likes of The Big Bang Theory, you can’t go wrong with a bit of Friends.
The Geordie duo are trying to find long lost family in New York (Picture: Splash News)
Ant and Dec have been seen filming their new ITV show in New York, and the pair looked positively thrilled to be there.
So would we if we were being paid to go on holiday.
The new programme is said to take inspiration from BAFTA-winning BBC show Who Do You Think You Are? as the Britain’s Got Talent pair meet experts and research their family trees to find out whether they are descended from any royals.
If one of them does happen to have blue blood, does that mean they’re also related to Danny Dyer? We hope so.
Their quest takes them across the pond to America to take advantage of some of the most cutting edge DNA technology in existence.
Of their journey, the pair have said it has been ’emotional’ and ‘fascinating’ and are looking forward to sharing their findings and family secrets with their fans.
Ant and Dec have recently reunited on BGT (Picture: ITV)
Part of the show was filmed last year but production was put on hold when Ant McPartlin checked into rehab and took a break from work.
‘We have discovered some amazing things which have shocked and surprised us and we still have hundreds of years to uncover!’ Added the presenters.
Ant and Dec recently reunited on telly for Britain’s Got Talent, and fans were happy but very emotional too see their favourite Geordies back together with one young contestant capturing the nation’s hearts when she told him she had ‘missed’ him.
While the presenters are gallivanting around the Big Apple, they seem blissfully unaware of the tragedy unfolding back in the UK.
Hopefully the mistake will be noticed before they take their seats, otherwise who knows what will happen.
Ant and Dec’s DNA Journey is due on ITV later this year. Ant and Dec can be seen presenting Britain’s Got Talent on ITV at 8pm on Saturdays

Colin Thackery brought the house down on BGT (Picture: ITV)
Chelsea pensioner Colin Thackery melted the hearts of everyone watching Britain’s Got Talent with a heartwarming dedication to the love of his life.
The 89-year-old former soldier spoke of Joan, who passed away in his arms in December 2016, as ‘the wind beneath his wings’ throughout their marriage.
As the soundtrack to Pixar movie Up played in the background, Colin and Joan’s 66-year marriage was played out on the screen, and he praised her for changing his life forever.
Calling her a ‘really lovely lady, who I love very much’, Colin said: ‘Everywhere I got, I got entire due to her, and her gentle support all the time.’
Things then took a sombre turn as he revealed that in her last moments, Joan died in his arms.
‘I miss her like mad. I talk to her all the time, tell her what’s happening,’ he said.
‘If she knew I was on this stage, I think she’d be really chuffed really! I will be very proud to sing to her.’

Now living at the Royal Hospital in Chelsea, Thackery was supported by a number of his fellow pensioners who cheered him from the audience, during the emotional rendition of the classic Wind Beneath My Wings.
Earning a standing ovation, Thackery was seen looking overwhelmed by the positive reaction, beaming as he bowed at the end.
Meanwhile viewers at home were emotional wrecks, praising him for his performance and crying over what he had lost.
‘Who’s cutting onions? #BritainsGotTalent,’ one commented.
‘Full on just cried when he said about his wife passing away in his arms #bgt #BritainsGotTalent’ another replied.
While a Twitter user posted: ‘Colin the Chelsea Pensioner is making me an emotional wreck, singing about his late wife.’
At the end of his performance, all four judges gave him a yes, sending him through to the next round.
Ant and Dec were seen crying from the wings, struggling to keep themselves together as they listened to his critiques.
Thanking him for his service as well as his vulnerable tribute, viewers will now have to wait to see if he reappears in the semi-finals.
Britain’s Got Talent continues Saturdays at 8pm on ITV1.

Chapter 13 have been put straight through to the live shows (Picture: Syco/Thames)
Amanda Holden has finally slammed her golden buzzer and given the last guaranteed ticket to the semi-finals to 15-year-old rock band, Chapter 13.
The four boys, who all first met while performing School Of Rock on the West End, were left jumping for joy with a live full band performance that won Amanda’s attention.
Paying homage to funk legend Stevie Wonder, Jacob, 14, and Noah, Tom, Jake, all 15, got the audience up on their feet to end the auditions in style.
They created a medley of classic tracks including Sir Duke, Superstition and Signed Sealed, Delivered (I’m Yours).
Earning a standing ovation from the audience and the judges, Amanda took her moment and said: ‘I just think you are absolutely incredible, and now you’ve just got to win the whole show.’
Slamming down the golden buzzer, the stage was rained in glitter and confetti as the four mates ran into each others’ arms.

Amanda later joined them and said that she ‘couldn’t resist’ giving them the buzzer after seeing them perform.
‘Congratulations, honestly the musicianship I just saw was outstanding, your skill level is so impressive,’ said Alesha.
David Walliams told them they had ‘came and conquered’ the show.
‘That was so well deserved, what you just had,’ said Simon.
‘I think what’s really exciting, is the last time I remember seeing and hearing something like this was a band called Busted. That was fantastic.’

The group will now be one of five select individuals with a guaranteed space in the live semi-finals, when it will be send over to the viewing public to decide who heads to the Royal Variety Show.
After winning over audiences with his dance moves, Ant and Dec chose 13-year-old Mumbai performer Akshat Singh.
Britain’s Got Talent continues next Saturday at 8pm on ITV1.

The 15-year-olds want to crack the music industry (Picture: Rex)
Tonight, boyband Chapter 13 got Amanda Holden’s Golden Buzzer in Britain’s Got Talent.
Their Stevie Wonder medley – featuring Signed, Sealed, Delivered, Sir Duke, and Superstition – wowed the judges and got them straight through to the semi finals.
Amanda commented on the drumming and guitars, and even the faces they made while performing, before smashing that buzzer while the boys’ parents cheered in the audience.
Interestingly, though, it’s not the first taste of fame the budding rock stars have had, as they all met while they were acting in a West End musical.
Here’s everything you need to know about the band.
Amanda loved their act (Picture: ITV)
Jake Slack, Tom Abisgold, Noah Key and Jacob Swann make up Chapter 13. All of the boys are 15, except for Jacob, who is 14.
They met while starring in the musical, School of Rock, where Jake and Tom both played Zack, and Jacob played Matthew in the Andrew Lloyd Webber production.
Noah has also starred in the stage show of Elf, and even portrayed Simon Cowell in the musical I Can’t Sing.
On top of all this stardom, you may have noticed Jake in the Sky Atlantic series Britannia. All before they’re old enough to drive!
One of their big influences are McFly, and they got to meet singer Tom Fletcher a while back when they provided vocals for a musical children’s book he made.
Given that Simon compared their audition to Busted, there could be big things in store for these pint-sized rockers.
Britain’s Got Talent continues next week at 8pm on ITV.
The four-piece band – made up of Jacob, 14, and 15-year-olds Noah, Tom, and Jake – began their audition by telling the ITV judges they all met while performing in School Of Rock, on the West End.
Starting out with Signed, Sealed, Delivered, by Stevie Wonder, they then rocked their way through a medley of Steve Wonder’s biggest hits.
And, to be fair, they absolutely smashed it.
Amanda clearly agreed, telling the group: ‘I honestly don’t think I’ve ever seen four young musicians so together, the drummer was amazing, the guitar playing was spot on. Some of the faces you were pulling were fantastic.
‘I just think you are absolutely incredible and now you’ve just got to win the whole show,’ she told the youngsters, before slamming straight on her golden buzzer and running up on stage to celebrate with them.
While David Walliams branded Chapter 13 ‘faultless’, Simon Cowell added it was ‘so well-deserved’.
Amanda celebrated with Chapter 13 (Picture: ITV)‘I can imagine kids watching the show, saying: “I would love to be in that because that’s more exciting than being at school,’ he said.
‘The last time I remember seeing or hearing something like this was a band called Busted. That was fantastic!’
However, viewers at home weren’t as impressed as the judges in the studio – and flocked to Twitter to brand the show a ‘farce’ as the band had already been on School Of Rock.
‘Yes they were good but don’t agree being a golden buzzer act when they have just been in a west end show,’ a fan commented.
‘Of course they’ve got the talent otherwise wouldn’t be in it. Unfair on other talent out there. Pros getting gold buzzer… wrong #BritainsGotTalent.’
‘Golden buzzer for an act that’s already been in the west end, absolute farce,’ another fumed.
‘That band didn’t deserve the golden buzzer #BritainsGotTalent,’ a Twitter user posted.
While a fan said: ‘I agree that they were a pretty good band but it was unfair for them to get a golden buzzer after literally being in a west end musical and having that much of an advantage…
‘Just my opinion not saying they didn’t deserve it but still not that fair #BritainsGotTalent.’
Eeeek…
But it wasn’t all bad for the boys, as others tipped them to win the show altogether.
‘Chapter 13 are gunna win #BritainsGotTalent, yep, I’ve called it,’ a viewer wrote.
An impressed follower added: ‘I’ve got to say that I would have pressed my golden buzzer for Chapter 13 too!!’
Britain’s Got Talent continues next Saturday at 8pm on ITV1.

David says his whole life revolves around his son (Picture: ITV)
David Walliams has opened up about his struggle with depression and credits fatherhood with helping him cope.
Appearing as the latest guest explorer on Bears’ Mission with Bear Grylls, the Britain’s Got Talent judge revealed he struggled with his mental health in the past, finding himself feeling ‘ very, very down and it’s been very long lasting’.
He went on to explain how he’s in a ‘much better place’ now, and attributes part of his recovery to becoming a dad to his 5-year-old son, Alfred.
‘One great thing about becoming a parent.. your whole life starts revolving around them and you do stop dwelling on your own problems so much, because you don’t have time to,’ the 47-year-old told Bear.
When the asked him what triggered his bouts of poor health, Simon Cowell’s pal replied: ‘A variety of things, end of relationships… all kinds of things can take you to a very bleak place.’
The children’s author broke up with Alfred’s mum, model Lara Stone, in 2015 after five years of marriage.
David and Lara were married for five years before their split in 2015 (Picture: Getty Images)
David told Bear that anyone who feels like they can’t cope should ‘seek help’ and ‘not feel ashamed’.
‘I did and that really, really helped,’ he added.
During the episode David and Bear scale a bridge, abseil down a cliff and eat a rat – despite the comedian claiming he had decided he was vegan just a minute before they tucked in.
We wouldn’t be too keen either, David (Picture: ITV)
The head judge told Mirror Online: ‘In the same way Pete Waterman made Kylie and Jason musical stars, and what I did with Robson and Jerome, I’d like to think through the process we’ll find someone who can sell records rather than just doing the show as a stunt.
‘I think David [Walliams] might enter, seriously, that would be amazing.’
We don’t know whether we’d rather watch David Walliams eat a rat or perform My Way on a celebrity version of X Factor, but it looks like we’ll be treated to both anyway.
Bear’s Mission with David Walliams is on ITV on Tuesday 14 May at 9pm.

She was joined by her partner of 21 years, Jade Jones, who said he was excited to take their children – Tate, 8, and Beau, 11 – along to the show as they were only babies when the band first reunited in 2007.
‘He cried in rehearsals the other day,’ Emma told Bradley of her partner’s soppy reaction to the girls’ moves, while Jade laughed and denied everything.
He later joined Emma for a performance of You’re All I Need To Get By on the show.

The Spice Girls reunion hasn’t all been dance routines and crying boyfriends, however, as the band were rocked by the shocking revelation that Geri Horner and Mel B had sex back in the day.
The story came to light during Mel B’s stint on Piers Morgan’s Life Stories, when she admitted: ‘[Geri’s] going to hate me for this because she’s all posh in her country house and her husband.
‘They’re alright – we love the drama, we’re having a ball,’ she revealed while discussing the reports.
‘We watch all that happening in the press and we think it’s quite funny.’

Jenna explained: ‘We don’t know yet. It’s definitely going to take a break, bit of a breather and then we’re working out… there’s a lot of conversations, do you start at the Crimean War, or do you start later?
‘I mean there’s too much story, unless I literally did commit until I am 63.’
She added that eventually Victoria will come to a point in the monarch’s story where it ‘becomes not realistic anymore’ for her to play the charatcer.
‘I’ve just caught up with her age and my age. We’re beginning “jowl conversations”. We either jump cut or we need to get those jowls in the grain.’

Series three will conclude tonight as Prince Albert (Tom Hughes) tries to put his Great Exhibition together.
The series has also seen the arrival of the queen’s half sister Feodora (Kate Fleetwood) and the Foreign Secretary Lord Palmerston (Laurence Fox).
The Grand Tour is struggling to find somewhere safe to send James May, Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond (Picture: Amazon)
Jeremy Clarkson has spoken about how The Grand Tour series four’s travel plans have been scuppered by Isis.
The Grand Tour team held a production meeting with Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May to decide where to send the trio for their next special.
But they had to rule out a lot of places due to ‘sporadic and vicious terrorist attacks’ that had taken place there.
In his column for The Sunday Times, he explained they had the idea to follow in the footsteps of Lawrence of Arabia from Saudi Arabia to Cairo.
Clarkson said: ‘This would be an epic journey, except it would mean crossing the Sinai peninsula and, thanks to Isis, the chances of us all arriving on the other side with heads were slim.’
He went on that the Andaman Islands, off the coast of Thailand, was also put forward, but ‘there’s a tribe on one of these islands that will kill anyone who lands.’
The presenter then suggested Australia but it was decided it wouldn’t be interesting enough, and the ‘relentless paparazzi’ would spoil everything that was going on.

While he didn’t reveal whether they had picked a destination, he joked that they may be stuck in the UK for series four.
But we’re sure Clarkson, Hammond and May would still find a way to make that fun.
Fans are going to have quite a wait for new episodes (not only because they can’t pin down a location yet) as the hosts are going to be off doing their own thing for a bit.
The presenter will travel the world exploring the biggest feats of engineering.
While The Grand Tour is returning, the show as we know it won’t be as they have done away with the studio audience to create a series of specials in far-flung locations instead.
The Grand Tour series four is set to air on Amazon Prime.

Fans are going crazy for the Jonas Brothers on SNL (Picture: NBC / BACKGRID)
Saturday Night Live host Emma Thompson sure knew what she was doing inviting the recently reunited Jonas Brothers to perform on the show, as fans went into meltdown at the sight of the brotherly trio.
Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas may have been away from the music scene for six years, but their fan base seems to have only gotten stronger since their reunion announcement in February 2019.
The musical brothers graced the NBC variety sketch series with performances of their new singles Sucker and Cool off of their new comeback album Happiness Begins, whilst also giving their die-hard followers a blast from the past with their throwback hit, Burnin’ Up.
Giving viewers another hit of their acting skills, the former childhood Disney stars also tickled fans’ funny bones with a spoof Judge Judy sketch that saw them play brothers who burnt down a rental home during a wild party.
The group’s appearance marked the first time in a decade that the trio had performed on the hit show, after the men last graced the SNL stage back in 2009.
Fans lost their minds at the boy band’s return with many even cancelling plans on their pals just to stay in and watch the show.

One fan wrote: ‘The Jonas brothers on SNL tonight they just took it back with burnin up and I’m in my Disney feels rn [sic].’
While another posted: ‘Sorry I can’t hang out tonight, I have to watch the Jonas Brothers on SNL.’
One fan was even left in tears at the Jonas Brothers’ return performance, commenting: ‘OH MY GOSH!!!!! this makes me so happy! @jonasbrothers just sang Burnin Up on SNL! excuse me while I go sob [sic].’
The group’s appearance on the comedy show comes just under a month before the release of their comeback album, Happiness Begins, which has already scored a Billboard Hot 100 chart number one with the album’s lead single, Sucker.
And the boys didn’t disappoint with the video for their new single, giving fans a glimpse of their personal lives with guest appearances of their other halves; Kevin’s wife Danielle Jonas, Nick’s wife Priyanka Chopra and Joe’s recently turned wife, Sophie Turner.
Joe and Sophie got hitched in LA on 1 May following the group’s first reunion performance at the Billboard Music Awards, in front of an Elvis Presley impersonator – as one does in LA.
But despite their rockstar wedding, the pair are yet to be seen wearing wedding bands.
The thrilling MI5 drama will compete against BBC’s Bodyguard, another big hitter with audiences and bookies’ favourite.
But who else has been nominated and who will win? We find out the betting odds.
Who are the 2019 TV Baftas nominees, what are their odds and who will win?
BBC One has cause for celebration this year, as it dominates several categories including drama series and leading actress.
Killing Eve co-stars Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer are set to compete against each other, but could be snubbed on the glory if Keeley Hawes (Bodyguard) or Ruth Wilson (Mrs Wilson) win.
Despite the show’s success, the Bodyguard’s lead actor Richard Madden didn’t receive any nominations.
He was booted out of the lead actor category by Hugh Grant, who is currently favourite to win thanks to his performance in A Very Special Scandal, as well as Benedict Cumberbatch, Chance Perdomo and Lucian Msamarti.

‘It was a huge year for BBC dramas and the betting suggests Bodyguard and Killing Eve will be battling it out for the best drama series, with Bodyguard our odds-on favourite to scoop the award,’ said Coral’s John Hill.
‘Jodie Comer was outstanding as the assassin, Villanelle, in Killing Eve so it is easy to see why she tops the betting to be the leading actress, while we make Hugh Grant the favourite to scoop the leading actor for his role in A Very Special Scandal.’

Calling her a ‘really lovely lady, who I love very much’, Colin said: ‘Everywhere I got, I got entirely due to her, and her gentle support all the time.’
The Good Morning Britain presenter, who is usually all about a stiff upper lip, had to admit that even he was feeling emotional watching Colin perform Wind Beneath My Wings.
Piers tweeted: ‘OK. This is what Britain’s Got Talent is all about. Congrats Colin Thackeray – you did your wife proud & brought a tear to my eye.’
He was forced to defend the BGT hopeful on Twitter as viewers criticised him.
After explaining that Colin had nearly died while at war in Korea, one follower told him: ‘Ah ok, he nearly died, so that means he must be good at singing.’

Piers fired back: ‘No, what it means is that Colin risked his life so that spoiled brats like you could continue enjoying the freedom to be a graceless p***k & mock a brave, wonderful man who sang so movingly about his wife of 66 years who recently died.’
Speaking about his wife’s death, Colin said: ‘I miss her like mad. I talk to her all the time, tell her what’s happening.
All four judges, Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams, unanimously sent Colin through to the next round as hosts Ant and Dec were seen crying in the wings as they struggled to keep it together.
Britain’s Got Talent airs Saturdays on ITV.

Russell T. Bird could be seen playing the keytar as he sang away to Make Luv by Room 5.
However, despite his best efforts, a crackling noise started to break out from the speakers, which saw Simon and his fellow judges flock to the stage to help.
Trying to overcome the technical difficulty, Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly headed to the rescue where they started to adjust the wires.
But, after getting no luck, the pair were joined by both the music mogul and David Walliams, who spat: ‘What on earth is the problem? Where’s this go?’
As if the four of them weren’t enough, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon also took to the stage where they tried to fix the problem.

Fans were not buying it (Picture: Rex)
The 71-year-old looked on as the celebs faffed around, and asked if he could have another go.
Telling him not to jiggle his keytar, Ant allowed the contestant to perform his act once again.
However, what left viewers annoyed, and claiming that the performance had been ‘set up’, was when the judges placed the blame on it being the 13th show in the series.
David went on to congratulate the hopeful adding: ‘You know what the weird thing was after all that you didn’t play it much. Just a few notes. I couldn’t believe it.
‘It was a wonderfully exuberant performance. I loved it. it was joyous.’
Taking to Twitter, fans of the show quipped: ‘Yes, because Ant and Dec would really go on stage to sort out sound issues instead of the engineers who are paid to do that #BritainsGotTalent is so bloody fake.’
Another added: ‘More than ever this year, #BritainsGotTalent seems so staged, set-up, rigged.’
‘Why did #BritainsGotTalent add on those fake a** electricity noises for Russell the keytar player? So cringe,’ said an angry fan.
Britain’s Got Talent continues next Saturday at 8pm on ITV1.

Elijah Rowen and Jack McEvoy teamed up to prank a co-star on the set of Vikings (Picture: History)
Vikings stars Elijah Rowen and Jack McEvoy found time to prank one of their co-stars in between takes on set.
Elijah, who played Asbjorn and Jack, who played Helgi, were both killed off in season five and have been sharing their memories of working on the show.
While mucking about in Jack’s trailer, they teamed up with Scott Graham to play a trick on an unnamed co-star.
Jack told Express.co.uk that they decided to write a love letter to one of the stars, knowing that one of the extras was ‘a big fan of his’.
He went on: ‘We composed the letter, for which he then runs into the trailer going “Mate, mate, you’re not gonna f*****g believe this. Look at this, she even says I love you!” And we were like yeah, yeah, we knew it man.
‘He then said “F**k what am I gonna say to my girlfriend?” And we were like, “Well it’s not your fault if people are falling in love with you!”
‘Anyway I think his heart dropped a little when he found out that it was myself, Elijah and Scott who had written it.’

The trailer for the final season of Vikings landed this month, and fans are speculating over the fate of Lagertha (Katheryn Winnick).
Season six will focus on the Battle of Kattegat which finally saw Ivar (Alex Høgh Andersen) defeated.
Referring to Lagertha’s prophecy that she will be killed by a son of Ragnar, viewers on Reddit are suspecting that she might bite the dust in the first half of the season. But we’re hoping that it doesn’t happen at all…
Vikings season 6 will air on the History Channel and Amazon Prime later this year.
