After fighting back at haters, Sophie – who starred as Sansa Stark since episode one of the fantasy epic – has revealed what she wanted from the finale before it was done and we couldn’t agree more.
‘I thought Arya would kill Cersei,’ the 23-year-old told The Wrap. ‘And I would like to have seen Sansa and Cersei reunited, or Arya and there were so many ways the story could have turned out.’
Although, ultimately, she’s delighted with Sansa’s ending, which is understandable as she was among one of the few heroes of the past eight seasons to be left standing.
‘I felt very passionately about the ending for Sansa, and I was very happy with the ending that turned out for her,’ she continued. ‘I suppose it’s not really the Iron Throne anymore. I think it’s true what Tyrion was saying: Bran holds all of our stories, and we can’t move on unless we remember our history.
Sansa was among the few heroes left standing (Picture: HBO)
‘Daenerys had to die. Cersei was a mad queen. Arya is too much of a free spirit. Sansa probably wouldn’t want to rule the seven kingdoms anyway – she wanted to stay in the North and defend the North. I really think Bran might be the perfect person for the job.’
Game of Thrones seasons one to eight are available to stream on NOW TV.

The trailer for Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions has dropped and we honestly couldn’t be more excited.
Celebrating the finest talent to come out of Simon Cowell’s global competition franchise, the new all-stars series will begin on 31 August and see our favourite contestants from the past 13 years (and some fresh faces) compete to be named champion of champions.
In the trailer, we are treated to glimpses of the death-defying stunts, phenomenal performances and hilarious judge reactions we can expect from the upcoming series.
And it promises to be impressive, as we hear David Walliams tell one act, ‘I could watch that forever’, while Simon Cowell declares ‘this was by far the best performance I’ve ever seen.’ High praise indeed from the big man!
A number of BGT’s most successful winners are set to return to the stage, including singer Paul Potts, comedian Lost Voice Guy and dancer George Sampson.
Audience faves Twist and Pulse and Stavros Flatley (remember them!) will also compete, alongside new acts from the global Got Talent franchise.
The series promises to be a subdued affair… or not (Picture: ITV)
And just in case all of that wasn’t extra enough, there’s also Ant and Dec holding British flags while surrounded by blazing fire. You know, nice and low key.
The series, which was pre-recorded at Wembley Arena, will air over six weeks, with two acts each week going through to the grand finale for the chance to compete for a cash prize and the coveted Champions Trophy.
One new face hoping to British audiences is ventriloquist Paul Zerdin, who revealed that he would be joining the all-stars series after winning America’s Got Talent – along with his puppet Sam – back in 2015, and earlier this year competed on the US Champions series.
However, the 46-year-old Brit admitted that performing for a UK audience was a much more exciting concept.
‘‘They did the America’s Champions show and kind of learnt their lessons from that, and they’ve made the British one even bigger,’ he said on Good Morning Britain.
‘It’s bigger and better. Wembley Arena, it’s a big deal and it’s great to be a part of it.’
Britain’s Got Talent airs Saturday 31 August on ITV 1.

Davina McCall and Rochelle Humes were forced to intervene after an ‘aggressive’ guest blew up over a debate on online shaming on This Morning.
It all got a bit heated.
The show featured a debate about online shaming after former Apprentice star and podcast host Luisa Zissman filmed an air stewardess on a flight, claiming her manner was ‘aggressive’.
Meanwhile, Liz Brewer was on the other side of the debate, claiming Luisa had ‘no right’ to film the stewardess.
‘I just was honestly flabbergasted at her manner,’ Luisa said, explaining that she posted the video after speaking about the issue on her podcast.
Luisa (L) claimed Liz (R) was getting ‘aggressive’ (Picture: ITV)
‘She kept going on the tannoy, threatening to fine people,’ she added, later describing the woman’s manner as ‘aggressive’.
However, Liz thought she was completely out of order, arguing that she knew she had a big audience and that the video would be seen by a lot of people.
‘First of all, when you buy a ticket on an aeroplane, you’re actually agreeing to their terms,’ she reasoned.
‘You actually have no right to criticise an aeroplane hostess for doing her job.’
She went on to add: ‘You’re not just defaming the air hostess…you’re actually causing a huge amount of damage to the airline.’
However, things got a bit out of hand when the pair started talking over each other, leading to hosts Davina and Rochelle intervening and telling them to let each other speak.
Luisa went on to tell Liz: ‘Your manner’s aggressive now.’
When asked if she thinks it was responsible to post the video, Luisa admitted: ‘I think possibly not and I recognise that but I stand by posting it. It’s the age we live in, you whip out a camera phone.’
ITV confirmed Davina’s return to the This Morning on Twitter with the declaration: ‘The host with the most is rolling into the hot seat. Screen queen Davina McCall is back as your guest presenter’ and a video of her previous times on the show.
Davina is the latest in a run of stars who have been stepping in to fill in the Friday void while Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby take a summer break.
This Morning airs every weekday on ITV at 10.30 am.

Curtis Pritchard may be home from Love Island, but there’s one thing he’s not quite keen to ditch – the phrase ‘young lady’.
During an appearance on Lorraine – to discuss the latest showbiz news and gossip – the 23-year-old voiced his thoughts on Margot Robbie, following the release of Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.
But he took the opportunity to brand the Oscar-nominated actress an ‘attractive young lady’, making us all cringe in our seats.
‘I’m not gonna lie she’s a very attractive young lady as well,’ the professional dancer told Christine Lampard, who was filling in for Lorraine Kelly.
‘So it’s going to be a good watch for everyone.’
Anyone else really wishing he’d left that phrase in the villa?
Curtis Pritchard divided viewers on Lorraine (Picture: ITV)
He branded Margot Robbie ‘an attractive young lady’ (Picture: Rex)
However, that’s not the only thing that appeared to grate on viewers, as Curtis kept repeating the phrase ‘I’m not gonna lie’.
Flocking to Twitter to discuss his presenting debut, one wrote: ‘How many times does @CurtisPritchard want to say “I’m not going to lie?” on @GMB.’
‘@lorraine @GMB Can you please ask @CurtisPritchard to stop saying “I’m not gonna lie” … it’s every other sentence almost – quite irritating, not gonna lie,’ another begged.
‘All of the Love Island contestants ‘landing’ presenting roles is just winding me up now. Curtis presenting the showbiz news on #Lorraine and calling Margot Robbie “a very attractive young lady” is not what I need on a Friday morning x,’ a fan posted.
While a viewer suggested: ‘A game to play this weekend: Rewatch this @reallorraine episode and drink every time Curtis Pritchard says “I ain’t gonna lie” #Lorraine.’
Curtis has joined the Greatest Dancer team (Picture: Syco)
We absolutely do not endorse that….
Curtis finished Love Island in fourth place, alongside Maura Higgins, last month.
And it looks like we’re going to be seeing a lot more of him on our screens, as he landed a part on The Greatest Dancer, alongside Cheryl, Oti Mabuse and Matthew Morrison.
‘Early next year, I am going to be on The Greatest Dancer, and I’m going to be taking on the receptionist role,’ he announced, while on the Scott Mills Show.
‘I’m there to build them up and have fun with them.’
Hopefully he steers clear of calling anyone ‘young lady’…
Lorraine continues on weekdays, at 8.30am, on ITV.

Sheen will play TV host Chris Tarrant in drama Quiz (Picture: Getty)
Michael Sheen is set to play Chris Tarrant in a dramatic retelling of the Major Charles Ingram coughing scandal from Who Wants to Be A Millionaire.
Quiz, which will tell the story of how Charles and his wife Diana attempted to win the TV quiz show through a series of coughs to give away the answer, will be a three-part drama on ITV and AMC.
Charles fronted the TV appearance in 2001 and it’s been alleged that Diana, alongside their pal Tecwen Whittock, would cough from the audience to tell him which answer was the right one.
Their plan initially paid off, and they walked away with the million pound jackpot until people started figuring out what they had got up to.
Matthew McFadyen will be playing the disgraced contestant, with Fleabag’s Sian Clifford playing his wife.
Peaky Blinders’ Helen McCrory will also be in the series as Sonia Woodley QC, who defended the Ingram’s at trial.

ITV’s Head of Drama Polly Hill said of the new drama: ‘I am delighted to be bringing James Graham’s wonderful play Quiz to screen on ITV.
‘It’s testament to James’ brilliant scripts that Stephen Frears is directing, which together with Left Bank Pictures producing, promises to deliver a very special drama.
‘It’s an extraordinary and thoroughly British story and is going to be a real treat for our audience.’

Quiz was initially a play written by James Graham, who is also behind the screenplays of Brexit: An Uncivil War and Labor of Love, and had a West End stint before being adapted for TV in this new mini-series.
Filming has already begun in London
Speaking of his involvement in the show, James Graham said: ‘I was gripped by this story over 15 years ago, and I’m still gripped now. It’s a very English heist.
‘Putting it onto stage at Chichester and the West End was such a lot of fun, and with a new team we now get to re-imagine the whole story afresh for television.
‘I have to pay credit to the late investigative journalist Bob Woffinden, who along with James Plaskett wrote the book Bad Show that kicked the whole creative process off by asking the question – what if the Major is innocent?’
Quiz will air on ITV in the UK and AMC in the US at an unconfirmed date.

Jimmy Kimmel’s show used the presidential tone without permission (Picture: ABC/Getty)
Jimmy Kimmel Live! has been slapped with a $395,000 (£326,000) fine for illegally using the presidential warning tone in the sketch.
The sketch, which aired in October 2018, aired the alert sound, which is only meant to be activated by President Donald Trump in case of an emergency, on the same day it was tested around the US.
President Trump launched the new notification service in case of a national emergency, such as impending missile attacks, terrorism acts and natural disasters that could affect citizens of the United States.
Approximately 200million phones within the States were sent the alert on 3 October as a test run.
By using the tone in the sketch to mock the system, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) stated that the show had been in breach of broadcasting rules which banned its use to ‘avoid confusion’ should people hear it.
ABC Network, who air Jimmy Kimmel Live, defended the use of the tone and said that they weren’t aware there were rules in place not allowing it.
As a result, they’ve paid a fine and promised not to use the tone again.
They added in a statement they ‘take regulatory compliance seriously, and we are pleased to have resolved this issue’.
AMC, who own the Walking Dead, Discovery and Meruelo have also been fined for using the tone as well.

But, but – California! Here we come! No? Ah, OK then (Picture: Warner Bros Tv/Kobal/REX)
The sun-kissed teen drama The O.C. was only on the air for four years back in the mid-00s – but doesn’t it, and the endless T4 repeats, only seem like yesterday?
You’ll no doubt recall the names Ryan, Marissa, Seth and Summer, who were just some of the characters who became synonymous with the hugely popular teen drama during its four-season run between 2003 and 2007.
Given the current trend among TV and film executives to indulge in popular nostalgia by commissioning reboot after reboot after reboot, the big question is inevitably going to be asked: should The O.C. be brought back?
The O.C. ran for four glorious seasons in the 00s (Picture: Warner Bros Tv/Kobal/REX)
For those of you who answered that question with ‘YES! CALIFORNIA, HERE WE COME,’ well, we’ve got some rather bad news to break to you from the show’s creator, Josh Schwartz.
‘We were asked about doing a return to The O.C. to see those kids grown up,’ Schwartz revealed earlier this month during the 2019 Television Critics Association summer press tour.
‘For us, that was a very, very singular story. We felt like we completed that tale by the end.’
California? Nope. Sorry, everyone: we’re not going. Cancel all your travel plans.
Guys, this is no laughing matter (Picture: Sipa Press/REX/Shutterstock)
Fox Entertainment boss Charlie Collier, though, didn’t entirely close the door on the prospect of a reunion.
‘There’s no plan right now to revive Prison Break or any of the other franchises,’ he acknowledged, in reference to classic shows like The O.C.
‘But when the creators come with a story that they think is the right time to tell, we are so ready to listen because those are some franchises of which I’m so proud and feel so fortunate that they’re in our stable.’
You heard him, folks: all you need to do is come up with a killer idea for an O.C. reunion, successfully pitch it to Schwartz and the Fox bigwigs, and then you’ll get that revival.
Will The Boys season 2 pick up from where we left off? (Picture: Instagram)
*Warning: This article contains spoilers for season one of The Boys on Amazon Prime including its ending.
The Boys is already filming season two after becoming undoubtedly the biggest success story on Amazon Prime.
Adapted from the comics of Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, The Boys follows a corrupt team of superheroes who behind closed doors are actually sexual predators and cold-blooded killers with a well-oiled PR machine keeping their popularity afloat.
Amazon confirmed the Seth Rogen produced show would be returning for a second run at San Diego Comic-Con earlier this year after becoming an immediate hit. And now Karl Urban, who stars as British vigilante Billy, has shared the first look at his hero from the set of season 2.
With his face bloodied possibly shooting from exactly the moment we left off, Karl posted an Instagram snap with the caption: ‘Totally Butchered that one 😜!Up to our old tricks. Shooting season 2 of The Boys.’
When we last saw Billy, he’d been transported to a cosy neighbourhood with Homelander (played by Antony Starr) and was confronted with his wife Becca (Shantel VanSanten), who was presumed dead after she went missing.
Last time we saw Billy he was in a seriously bad way (Picture: Amazon)
Turns out, she’s given birth to Homelander’s baby and was in hiding this whole time.
Looking at Karl’s photo we could be about to pick up right from the moment Billy looked at Spice Girls megafan Becca and her grown-up kid for the first time.
Showrunner Eric Kripke recently promised The Boys season 2 would go ‘deeper’ than its predecessor, which is as terrifying as it is exciting to hear.
‘I don’t want season 2 to go bigger, I want it to go deeper,’ enthused Eric. ‘A more intense, more insane, more wrenching, more character-driven season. ‘It’s my one and only goal to make season two even better than season one.’
The Boys season 2 is expected to drop on Amazon Prime in 2020.

Dave Chappelle is indisputably one of the biggest names in comedy – so much so that he can probably call on whoever he likes to help promote his next stand-up TV special.
And so he did, calling on none other than Morgan Freeman, who whimsically narrates the trailer for the special, which doesn’t feature any hilarious excerpts from the show itself but instead follows a sunglasses-wearing Chappelle as he walks across a desert.
‘How did we get here, I wonder,’ Freeman ponders on the voiceover as Chappelle walks alone.
‘I don’t mean that metaphorically. I’m really asking: How did Dave get here? I mean, what the f*** is this?
‘Ah, what do I know,’ he then adds. ‘I’m just Morgan Freeman…’
You rang? (Picture: /FilmMagic)
Dave Chappelle: Sticks & Stones is set to premiere on Netflix on 26 August, and a short bio promises that the comedian will be ‘unflinching and boundary-pushing’ in his fifth on-screen comedy special.
‘Dave gives his provocative perspective on the tidal wave of celebrity scandals, the opioid crisis and more – in trademark Chappelle fashion,’ the official description declares.
Freeman’s narrative omniscience (or rather lack of) is a bit reminiscent of his role as God in both Bruce Almighty and its later spin-off, Evan Almighty – albeit with a bit more swearing.
All in all, it makes for a mighty fine teaser for what’s surely set to be another Chappelle classic.

Who do you think will pair up for this year’s competition? (Picture: Getty; Rex; BBC)
Strictly Come Dancing is just around the corner and now it’s just a waiting game until we find who’s coupling up with who for the competition.
But we here are Metro.co.uk are an impatient lot, and so with that in mind we’ve got our thinking caps on to come up with our own predictions.
Who’s going to end up with the show’s beloved Anton? Which of the pros will finally get a stab at taking part in the dance-off? Which glamorous couple is Craig Revel-Horwood going to scowl at for the duration of the series?
After calculating the stats of the pros heights, ages, and past partners, here’s how we reckon this year’s pairing is going to turn out.
Let’s get ready to starrrrrt dancing!
AJ and Saffron look like a sure fire dream team (Picture: BBC)
AJ Pritchard – Saffron Barker
As the youngest pro currently participating on the series, 24-year-old AJ has typically always been paired with the youngest celebrity on the show.
Saffron Barker, 19, would therefore be the perfect match for him, not only in age, but in height as well.
Coming in at a tiny 5ft 3in, Saffron would be a good professional fit for AJ, who comes in at 5ft 7in.
Can Kevin and Michelle team up and stomp the competition? (Picture: BBC)
Kevin Clifton – Michelle Visage
Kevin Clifton’s seven years on the show has proven to be a mixed bag in terms of partnerships, and he has a title to uphold as last year’s winner.
If anyone can put on a show, it’s Michelle Visage, thanks to her years as a popstar and her ever-standing position in the drag community.
But having previously had a much-loved partnership with Susan Calman, who comes in at 4ft 11in, back in 2011, it’s clear that won’t be too much of an issue for him.
Can Anneka help Anton finally win the glitterball? (Picture: Getty)
Anton Du Beke – Anneka Rice
Much like AJ is always partnered with the youngest star on the show, traditionally, 53-year-old Anton has always been partnered with one of the eldest.
After a swift exit last year after being partnered with Susannah Constantine, Anton will definitely want someone to fight for their place in the competition.
Professionally, Anton and Anneka are of similar age, with the can-do TV presenter being 60, and there’s also a solid 5in height difference between then, which is good for Anton’s leading form of dance, ballroom.
Can Anneka rise to the challenge and finally get Anton that glitterball?
Catherine is the same height and build as Giovanni’s partner from last year, Faye (Picture: Getty)
Giovanni Pernice – Cath Tyldesley
Giovanni came achingly close to the glitterball last year with Faye Tozer – who is the exact same height as this year’s competitor, Catherine.
Over the years, Giovanni has placed runner-up three times, only missing out on the final once with Laura Whitmore back in series 14.
Now, with a determination like the Coronation Street star, there’s every chance that he could finally be a winner.
Can Emma be Aljaz’s winning ticket to the glitterball once again? (Picture: BBC)
Aljaz Skorjanec – Emma Barton
As one of the tallest female participants this year, Eastenders’ star Emma would need one of the tallest guys.
So it makes sense that long-standing favourite, 6ft tall Aljaz, should be able to waltz her around the dancefloor.
Aljaz has already lifted the glitter ball once, winning series 11 with Abbey Clancy, and was runner up with Gemma Atkinson two years ago.
After placing eighth last year with Kate Silverton, who was 5ft 10in, 5ft 7in Emma might have the extra wiggle room needed for a magic pairing.
Could Alex and Gorka burn the dancefloor as a partnership? (Picture: Getty)
Gorka Marquez – Alex Scott
Only 5ft 6in in height, Gorka is surprisingly one of the shorter pros, so it would make sense to match him with a partner who’s also shorter than average.
Commentator and former football pro is 5ft 3in, and could give him the kick he needs to hot step it through the competition.
Previously, his partners have also been around the same height as Alex – Katie Piper is 5ft 2in, Tameka Empson 5ft 3in and Alexandra Burke is 5ft 4in.
Can Graziano and the Viscountess be the perfect pair? (Picture: Getty)
Graziano Di Prima – Viscountess Weymouth
While the Viscountess’s height is currently unknown, she stands taller than average alongside her friends on Instagram.
With Graziano at a solid 6ft, it appears likely she could find herself partnered up with the Italian hunk for the show’s duration.
Graziano’s latin flare would mean she would have her work cut out for her, but we’re sure she can rise to the challenge.
Dianne and Jamie could be one mischevious pair in the competition (Picture: Getty)
Dianne Buswell – Jamie Laing
Dianne’s bubbly nature won her a boyfriend, if not a trophy, in last year’s Strictly Come Dancing.
She’s also one of the shortest competitors and Jamie comes in at 5ft 5ins.
Throw in the fact that they’re both the same age, it could make them a pretty magical pair on the dancefloor.
Can these two become worthy team mates for Strictly glory? (Picture: Getty)
Karen Hauer – Karim Zeroual
Little is known about Karim Zeroual but thanks to CBBC we already know he has high energy – and wants to get into some cuban heels.
That, if anything, is Karen Hauer (former Clifton’s) specialty, so if anyone’s going to being the best out of him in that section, it’ll be her.
Karen is known for her daring routines and big pay-offs, which takes someone with some guts to do.
Karim should fit the bill just fine.
Can Will do what it takes to get to the final? (Picture: Getty)
Janette Manrara – Will Bayley
Will Bayley is a triple-medal Paralympic table tennis champion, and wants to inspire those with disabilities to achieve their goals.
He has arthrogryposis, a rare condition which affects all four of his limbs, causing curved and/or stiff joints and muscle weakness.
As a result, he will need someone who will know when to push him, and when not to, in order to be his best.
So resident pocket rocket Janette Manrara could be the one for this. As the smallest member of the female squad, she can be lifted easier, and has proven in the past to not be too harsh on her partners.
But she’s also not one to be messed with, and creates routines that always have a fair bit of flare in them.
Dev and Oti could be fierce competition (Picture: Getty)
Oti Mabuse – Dev Griffin
DJ Dev Griffin has thrown himself into a lot this year – most notably in SAS: Who Dares Wins at the beginning of the year.
Oti is known to take no prisoners when it comes to creating their routines, and could be considered one of the strictest teachers.
It always, without fail, pays off – and she has created some of the most notable routines the show has created to date as a result.
(Graeme Swann flying through the air on a cricket bat anyone? Danny Mac ripping his shirt off and earning a perfect 40?)
If Dev can make it through SAS training, then Oti should be a breeze, and with the added pressure of her sister Motsi now on the judges panel, he’s going to need to keep his head down in order to get the best results.
Will Amy have more luck whipping Chris into shape on the dancefloor? (Picture: Getty)
Amy Dowden – Chris Ramsey
Speaking on his podcast S****ed, Married, Annoyed with wife Rosie, Chris admitted than in the practice dance, he didn’t want someone that would yell at him while dancing.
Amy Dowden has proven in the past to work well with comedians and keep an upbeat persona when things get tough.
Both Chris and Amy a similar frame which is also useful in a dance partner, with a similar height to potentially make them a perfect pair.
Will Luba get her first shot at the competition with David James? (Picture: Getty)
Luba Mushtuk – David James
Luba has yet to appear as a professional dancer, but in terms of height matches up better with 6ft 4in David James than remaining female pros, Nancy Xu and Katya Jones.
So this could be Luba’s first year in the competition, after having joined last year alongside Graziano and Johannes.
She already won the 2018 special of the series with Boyzone’s Shane Lynch in aid of Children in Need, so it’s clear she’s got the fighting spirit.
Let’s just hope that David is as fancy-footed in shoes as he was in football boots.
Do these two have what it takes to be the champions? (Picture: Getty)
Nadiya Bychkova – James Cracknell
At 6ft 3in, it’s pretty easy for James to have the height needed to stand taller than his partner – which is often necessary in ballroom.
Nadiya is going to need one of the taller participants as one of the tallest females on the show – even though she’s only 5ft 8in.
With that in mind, James and Nadiya could be an electric coupling.
But could that mean that they rise head-and-shoulders above the others in the competition?
Strictly Come Dancing launches later this year on BBC One.

Molly-Mae Hague has insisted that Love Island producers forced her to create drama and that they were ‘more involved’ than she initially thought they would be.
The former islander has left the villa to a lot of backlash amid claims that she is fake and is not invested in her relationship with Tommy Fury.
But now the 20-year-old has claimed that show bosses told her to tell Anna Vakili about the moment that Anton Danyluk gave his phone number to the shop assistant, in order to move that storyline on.
‘There were loads of things that I wish weren’t shown, or things that I wish were shown,’ she said.
‘For example, there was one point where Tommy told me a little secret about Anton giving his phone number to a shop assistant and when he told me that one of the producers came up to me and said, “You need to tell Anna about that. You need to make sure you tell Anna that that happened”,’ Molly claimed.
‘But I was like “But he just made me promise that I wouldn’t say”.
‘She said, “don’t worry, we won’t show that bit, it will be fine, just tell Anna”. I was like “okay, fine”.
Molly added: ‘So I told Anna and I know I got a lot of backlash saying I was being unfaithful to Tommy but sometimes you have to do things in there that you don’t necessarily want to do but for the storyline it just makes it work.’
A Love Island spokesperson told Metro.co.uk: ‘The opinions they have, decisions they make and the relationships formed are completely within the control of the Islanders themselves.
‘It is always our intention to produce a show that is a fair and accurate representation of life in the villa.’
The Love Island finalists (Picture: Rex)
Her comments come after the show’s narrator Iain Stirling said that show bosses are looking to break couples up but that this year they were left concerned they may not have any couples by the final.
‘Normally we want to break couples up but this year no one wanted to stay together,’ he said of the Casa Amor twist which led to splits between Curtis and Amy Hart, Michael and Amber Gill and Jordan Hames and Anna Vakili.
Speaking to Christine Bleakley on ITV show Lorraine, he added: ‘We thought we weren’t going to have four couples for the final at one point, just a bunch of bitter people giving daggers to each other.’
Metro.co.uk has contacted reps for Love Island for comment.

Hey, if you get Killing Eve first, we’re keeping our Peaky Blinders as payback.
The show is due to return on 25 August pride of place on the BBC One primetime slot, but Netflix will be fast on their heels and dropping it all shortly after the season ends on 5 October.
This time round, Tommy (Cillian Murphy) and Arthur (Paul Thomas Anderson) will be facing a new level of bother as the stock market crash of 1929 sends their business into turmoil.
With Michael (Finn Cole) returning to Birmingham from Boston, with a mystery lady in tow, it’s not long before they are back to their dodgy dealings to end up back on top.
With two more seasons confirmed to go, we all know that no matter what it leads to a major historical moment – the start of World War II.
Seeing as Tommy is still recovering from the effect of the war on his psyche ten years on in this season, we don’t know how well this will end up for anyone.
Peaky Blinders returns 25 August on BBC One and 5 October on Netflix.

Olivia’s new character has a thing for married power plant workers (Picture: Getty/Fox)
The Crown’s Oscar-winning star Olivia Colman has become the latest star to lend her voice to The Simpsons – and Marge better watch out.
The actress, who is about to make a star turn as Queen Elizabeth II, has been confirmed to be heading to Springfield in the upcoming 31st season.
In the episode, she will be playing ‘the most down home femme fatale ever’ who is used to getting her own way when it comes to the opposite sex.
Yet, despite getting any man she wants, for some reason that will become apparent soon enough, she finds herself falling in love with married slob Homer.
Knowing Homer, he will be completely oblivious to it all…but for how long?
The Simpsons executive producer James L Brooks confirmed the news to Entertainment Weekly and declared her guest spot as ‘one of the best in Simpsons history’.
This won’t be the first time that Homer’s loyalty is put to the test after getting dangerously close to fellow factor worker Mindy Simmons in The Last Temptation of Homer.
The episode, which first aired in 1993, saw Homer bond with curvy Mindy over their shared love of junk food, before getting close during a work getaway.
She was voiced by Michelle Pfeiffer, and after Homer turned her down and returning to Marge, hse apparently ‘hit the bottle pretty hard’ and was barely seen again.

We are ready to see what chaos Olivia brings to the table. Hopefully the heartbreaker will let her down a little more gently this time.
Other a-listers, including Jason Momoa and Chrissy Teigen, will also be heading to the town to get in on the shenanigans of our favourite yellow family.

Thankfully we’ll all be getting our fix of Midge Maisel soon because the cast hit the streets of New York to commence filming this week.
Rachel Brosnahan, who plays the titular character, looked every inch the retro dream in a mint-green A-line dress with a bow-adorned waist that we want to buy and wear right now.

The star was clearly feeling the August heat and we don’t blame her for the hand fan (Picture: Startraksphoto.com)
The 29-year-old finished off her look with a green hat, a blue wool coat and pale blue pumps and it’s just all too sartorially perfect.
She was joined by Alex Borstein, who plays Midge’s long-suffering manager Susie Byerson, for a take that saw them struggle out of a building’s revolving doors while carrying about ten thousand cardboard boxes.
They then made their way into a bright yellow cab in what was possibly the most New York scene ever.
Seems Rachel was feeling the heat of filming at the height of summer in a wool dress, as she kept herself cool with a hand fan and somehow even managed to make that look sophisticated.

The Marvellous Mrs. Maisel cast began filming season three – which was confirmed last April – this week after wrapping their final table read.
Characters lined up to return to the Emmy-winning show are Michael Zegen’s Joel, Tony Shalhoub’s Abe, Marin Hinkle’s Rose, Kevin Pollak’s Moishe, and Caroline Aaron’s Shirley.
Viewers will also be treated to some newbies, like This Is Us star Sterling K. Brown, who is set to appear in three episodes.
Stranger Things star Cary Elwes and Set It Up actress Stephanie Hsu will also be getting amongst the ’50 glamour.
As for last season’s heartthrob Zachary Levi – who played Midge’s love interest Dr.Benjamin Ettenburg – it’s all a bit up in the air.
Zachary told The Hollywood Reporter: ‘If there’s an opportunity to come back and wrap [Ben and Midge’s] storyline up, I would love to.’
We can only hope and pray.
The Upper West Doctor’s romance with Midge was left on the ultimate cliffhanger in season two, as she turned down his proposal and decided to leave New York to go on tour.
The Marvellous Mrs. Maisel has nabbed two Golden Globes and a whopping five Emmys for season one, as well as three nominations and one win at the 2019 Golden Globes for season two.

Great British Bake Off has tasked bakers with some difficult technical over the years and now judge Paul Hollywood has admitted that they’ve been a bit too harsh on previous contestants.
The last nines series has seen hopefuls challenged to make tasty but complex treats ranging from pretzels, jam doughnuts, chocolate souffle and raspberry blancmange.
But this year’s Channel 4 show will see the panel scaling down their requests.
‘It’s been interesting to come up with some unusual things this year – the challenges I think have been scaled back a little bit,’ Paul said.
‘I thought sometimes we’ve been running away with some of the challenges being too difficult.’

He continued: ‘On series one, people could approach them and make them and want to enjoy making them.
‘But if you make them too difficult people will go not interested, “I was with you right up until that point and then you’ve lost me.”‘
Prue Leith says even the best bakers struggle in the technicals (Picture: Mark Bourdillon)
Co-host Prue Leith added that sometimes the most seasoned baker finds themselves stumped when tasked with the show’s difficult technicals.
‘Sometimes you can see a baker in the beginning and you think he or she will be fantastic and will just walk it’, she said.
‘And it’s quite worrying because you don’t really want somebody to just gallop ahead.
‘[But] they all at some point do really badly, so there’s a sort of seesaw and it’s really confusing.’
Will the judges be switching up the rogue campfire pita bread from last year’s final to something like a basic fairy cake? Only time will tell…
The Great British Bake Off returns Tuesday 27 August on Channel 4.

Alexander Ludwig and his co-star girlfriend Kristy Dawn Dinsmore (Picture: Getty)
Vikings stars and real-life couple Alexander Ludwig and Kristy Dinsmore have shared a cute throwback clip ahead of the upcoming sixth season.
The sweethearts, who play Amma and Bjorn in the History Channel series, are no strangers to celebrating their love on social media and posted a gif from the backend of series five getting us all excited for what’s to come.
The quick snippet saw Bjorn give his other half a pep talk by whispering in her ear, causing Amma to erupt with fighting talk in response.
‘Mum and dad at work,’ Kristy captioned the snap for her 52,500 followers on Instagram.
The post has garnered a load of traction on social media with Prison Break star Tasya Teles replying: ‘Hi mom.’
The 27-year-old, who went public with his relationship at the end of last year, gushed: ‘The greatest thing that has ever happened to me is you @_kristydawndinsmore.
‘I love you forever. Thanks for sticking by me through it all.’
And the feelings were definitely mutual, as Kristy uploaded the same picture, adding: ‘Love you so much! @alexanderludwig.’
Although the character’s death has neither been confirmed or denied by the cast, it seems there’s too much evidence to suggest she gets out of the finale alive.
Actress Katheryn Winnick, who plays Lagertha, has previously hinted that her character might not escape the season alive and teased that there will be ‘one last battle’ for the warrior in scenes to come.
Looks like we’ll have to sit tight and discover the truth for ourselves.
Vikings will return to the History Channel and Amazon Prime in Autumn.

You know your make-up skills are on fleek when you can seamlessly transform into Stranger Things character Billy Hargrove like it’s nothing.
Artist and cosplayer TT Bret blew us all away as they filmed herself turning into the villain, played by Dacre Montgomery, in just a matter of seconds.
Displaying their incredible dab hand with a kohl liner, the Instagram user literally brought the character back to life with their flair and honestly, we’re still shook.
‘Did a makeup test for #billyhargrove and had way too much fun with it,’ they captioned a series of photos dressed Billy before sharing a mindblowing clip.
Netflix soon caught wind of the video and shared it on their social channels, writing: ‘Who knew a little makeup could bring Billy Hargrove back to life? This transformation by @ttbret is BLOWING my mind.’
Unsurprisingly, fans were completely stunned by the post and showered TT with complements, with the official Stranger Things account simply commenting: ‘Flay me.’
‘This is absolutely amazing. Best thing I’ve seen all day wow,’ wooed one user.
Echoing a similar sentiment, another wrote: ‘This is f****** insane! You even got his mannerisms perfect! So impressive.’
The third season of Stranger Things landed on Netflix last month and sadly paved the way for Billy’s exit.
The character was sadly killed off in the finale episode after being taken by the Mind Flayer.
Since the heartbreaking episode aired, diehard fans have discovered that Billy might have prevented a huge tragedy that could have brought down the whole of Hawkins and killed off Mike Wheeler and the gang.
Early on in the season the character resisted the Mind Flayer and one Reddit user believes this move significantly altered the story and helped save a bunch of people from the monster.
Not all heroes wear capes.
Stranger Things is available to stream on Netflix.

Charlotte Crosby posted a foul-mouthed tweet (Picture: MTV)
Charlotte Crosby has kicked off in a foul-mouthed rant causing rumours to circulate that her MTV series The Charlotte Show hasn’t been renewed.
The 29-year-old reality star, who is currently seeking relationship advice alongside her partner Joshua Ritchie on Celebs Go Dating, took to Twitter this morning and wrote about ‘loyalty’ in a post riddled with expletives.
Writing to her 3.1million followers, Charlotte blasted: ‘Nine years of loyalty.
‘Nine f***ing years. Thanks a f***ing lot. P*** taking f***ing c****.’
Her tweet has since been deleted with a source telling Metro.co.uk: ‘The Charlotte Show has definitely not been cancelled.’
Fans are confused about Charlotte’s uproar and are desperate for answers, with one posting: ‘If The Charlotte Show has been cancelled I will be devastated, that was one of THE best shows MTV has ever had, and the ratings were amazing.’
Charlotte has since deleted the tweet (Picture: Backgrid)
Meanwhile, another added: ‘I’ll actually be gutted if they have cancelled her show.’
Metro.co.uk has contacted Charlotte’s rep for comment.
The Charlotte Show first aired last year, with the third season of the kicking off just two months ago.
Charlotte has featured in a number of MTV shows and was first signed to Geordie Shore back in 2011 as a series regular.
Since then, she’s presented the likes of Just Tattoo Us as well as The Charlotte Crosby Experience.
‘My whole nine years with MTV I’ve had support before the show, on the show, after it, even when you’re not on the show – they’re a phone call away,’ she told us.
‘You grow a thick skin and with every negative comment there are 20 nice ones, so you have to focus on the positive.
‘It’s so easy to dwell on the negative things that happen in life, but if you don’t look around you don’t notice the positives.
‘Everyone is different and people cope in different ways so I can only talk from personal experience, I think I as a person don’t get too down about it.’

A man has sought help for ‘white lumps of jelly’ covering his body on an episode of The Skin Clinic.
Scott, 43, tasked spot destroyer Dr Emma Craythorne with obliterating his pus-filled bumps after deciding to put an end to the constant source of embarrassment his severe acne, cysts, and blackheads had brought him over the last 20 years.
Ahead of seeking help, he explained to the camera: ‘I’m covered in bumps, lumps, and it’s something I have to live with every day.
‘They are just white lumps of jelly waiting to explode. It’s getting progressively worse as I’m getting older.
‘When one cyst pops, you want to be somewhere else because the smell is awful.’

He continued: ‘During my 20s, I had acne on my back but it was very mild. As soon as I got to about 30-years-old, it just overtook my back and big lumps and bumps started appearing.
‘It’s getting progressively worse as I’m getting older.’
Scott revealed that he’d also experienced his cysts popping during client meetings at work, causing him much grief.

‘When one [cyst] pops, you want to be somewhere else because the smell is awful. Whatever I’m wearing is ruined, there’s blood everywhere, pus everywhere.
‘I’ve actually been with customers when one has popped, and I’ve just had to excuse myself and clean up.’
His wife Heather told the cameras that she would send him off to work with a couple of spare shirts in his bag just in case an accident happened.
‘It does make me gag every time,’ she said. ‘I do try and hide it but there does come a point where I need to leave the room.’
The Bad Skin Clinic kicked off earlier this week, with new spot squeezer Dr Emma talking to us about the kind of things she encounters.
‘I like doing a quick fix, like a five minute squeeze or a ten minute op if there’s more than one lump,’ she said.
‘It doesn’t take long to get the problem sorted.’
She added: ‘I find it all perfectly normal. One of the things that other people will find [not nice], is probably the large lipomas, so the large lumps of fat underneath the skin, because they can just squidge out of the body.’
The Bad Skin Clinic airs Tuesdays at 10pm on Quest Red.
