It’s been one of the most controversial Netflix shows of recent years – and now 13 Reasons Why is returning to the streaming platform for a third run.

The new series picks up eight months after the events of series two, with a new murder mystery for viewers to get to grips with as Hannah Baker’s suicide from season one continues to have repercussions.

Expect fans across the globe to be binge-watching this one when it drops on Friday – but what time can UK viewers tune in?

Here’s what you need to know…

What time is 13 Reasons Why season 3 released on Netflix?

The third season of 13 Reasons Why will be available on Netflix on Friday morning at 8am.

That’s in keeping with the usual release times of series and new episodes of series on Netflix – in line with their release at midnight San Francisco time, where Netflix HQ is located.

It’s not been confirmed how many episodes will be in the next series of the show.

However the previous two ran for 13 episodes – hence the series title – so it’s likely you can expect the same from the new season.

What is 13 Reasons Why season three about?

There’s a whole new plot strand in the latest series of the show, with the trailer having revealed that Bryce Walker (Justin Prentice) is dead.

The season looks likely to focus on this murder mystery – with a number of Liberty High students potential suspects.

The synopsis tells us thus: ‘Eight months after preventing Tyler from committing an unthinkable act at Spring Fling, Clay, Tony, Jessica, Alex, Justin, and Zach find ways to shoulder the burden of the cover-up together while helping Tyler move toward recovery.

Expect there to be plenty of suspects and even more drama (Picture: Netflix)

‘But when the aftermath of a tumultuous Homecoming game culminates in the disappearance of a football player, and Clay finds himself under police scrutiny, it’s up to a shrewd outsider to steer the group through an investigation that threatens to lay bare everyone’s deepest secrets.’

‘The stakes are raised in this riveting third season of 13 Reasons Why, as the consequences of even the most well-intended actions can alter a life forever.

Season two of the show ended with Bryce being given only three months probation for sexually assaulting Hannah (Katherine Langford) and Jessica (Alisha Boe)

Will there be a fourth series of the show?

There will be – with Netflix having already confirmed that 13 Reasons Why will return – but the fourth series will be its last.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, production is already underway on season four, which will focus on the graduation of the core characters at Liberty High.

A Breaking Bad movie is on the way (Picture: AMC)

Filming on the Breaking Bad movie spin-off has been completed already, according to Bob Odenkirk.

The 56-year-old actor, who plays corrupted lawyer Saul Goodman in Breaking Bad and spin-off Better Call Saul, has casually claimed filming on the planned movie has already wrapped – expressing his surprise at how no one knows about the news.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter about the movie, Odenkirk said: ‘I don’t know what people know and don’t know.

‘I find it hard to believe you don’t know it was shot. They did it. You know what I mean? How is that a secret? But it is. They’ve done an amazing job of keeping it a secret.’

It’s surprising considering how little we know about the Breaking Bad movie, regarding the cast, plot, setting, or how it connects to the main TV series.

We only have previous teasers from stars Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston indicating they’re both returning in some capacity, although it’s unclear if Bob Odenkirk will reprise his role.

One person who won’t be returning is Walt Jr, after actor RJ Mitte ruled himself out of the project. Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan will helm the movie project.

If you’re unfamiliar, the original series follows chemistry teacher Walter White as he turns to the drug trade in a desperate bid to earn money for his family.

The Breaking Bad movie is expected to release in 2020.

Big Narstie mistakes Richard Madeley for Coronation Street actor as he takes over Good Morning Britain

Big Narstie left Richard Madeley lost for words on Good Morning Britain after mistaking him for Coronation Street actor Nigel Havers.

The British rapper appeared on the show alongside Jamaican rapper Spice, ahead of the pair heading into the recording studio together.

Speaking to hosts Richard and Ranvir Singh, Big Narstie kicked off the interview in hilarious style by mistaking the former with the actor who played Lewis Archer in the soap.

‘You’re the Coronation Street man,’ Big Narstie said to Richard. ‘I thought you was the Coronation Street man. But my bredrin says you were originally on GMTV.

‘But you look like old school James Bond. You know like Stingray or Pussy Galore? The old school ones, that’s who I thought you were.’

Richard, slightly baffled, said: ‘I’m not from Coronation Street mate.’

After Ranvir clarified he could mean Nigel Havers, Big Narstie said: ‘Yes it’s the jaw! You’ve got the stiffest jaw cuz.’

Laughing it off, Richard replied: ‘We get this a lot actually Nigel and I. I can only apologise, I’m not an actor.’

Things soon took an even more bizarre turn after Spice suddenly decided to bump and grind with GMB co-host Richard Gaisford.

This is too much for 8am. Back to bed.

If you wanted a beautiful reminder, Big Narstie previously created chaos on the show when he took over to present the weather – delighting everyone involved.

You can catch Good Morning Britain weekdays on ITV at 6am.

The Walking Dead has released a new poster for season ten, showing Daryl, Michonne and Carol with new retro stylings.

The show’s tenth season is set to arrive in October, which looks set to see the survivors continue to battle the Whisperers led by Alpha (Samantha Morton).

A couple of new key art posters have since arrived to promote the next season, which showcase a more distinctive look in comparison to past promo material for the show.

They show Daryl (Norman Reedus), Carol (Melissa McBride) and Michonne (Danai Gurira) all looking suitably menacing, with the fresh look possibly indicating season ten could mark a big departure for the show in some capacity.

The next season is set to be Danai Gurira’s last in the role of Michonne, confirming her departure at San Diego Comic-Con earlier this year.

‘I can confirm this will be my final season on this amazing TV show as Michonne,’ Danai said.

‘I would just like to say that this has been one of the purest joys of my life to play this role and to be amongst these people and those who are not here right now and amongst all of you.’

A trailer was also released teasing dramatic battles with the Whisperers and a surprising romance between Michonne and Ezekiel (Khary Payton).

It isn’t the only show in production in the franchise either, with a new untitled series underway and three Rick Grimes movies set to be released next year.

The Walking Dead season 10 kicks off Sunday 6 October in the US, and returns on Fox Monday 7 October in the UK.

Emma Willis transforms into multiple versions of herself for the new series of The Circle

The Circle is returning this autumn and Channel 4 has unveiled an exciting new teaser featuring host Emma Willis.

The promo shows Emma shapeshifting into an array of guises showing that anyone can be anyone in The Circle.

And it almost feels like an episode of Black Mirror.

The former Big Brother host was named as the new face of the reality series this summer, replacing Maya Jama and Alice Levine.

Now the show is set to return to screens this autumn with an extended run and weekly live episodes.

The live shows will give viewers at home the chance to influence the narrative in The Circle in different dramatic ways via the show’s app.

The Circle is the popularity game where anyone can be anyone. Players can choose to be whomever they think will make them most popular with other players.

They don’t get to know each other face-to-face, meeting each other through the profiles they choose to share through The Circle (a purpose-built, voice-activated social media site) and the information they release via chats.

Last year, contestant Alex Hobern won £75,000 catfishing as ‘Kate’.

Speaking to Metro.co.uk earlier this year, Alex said: ‘No cat-fishing this year! Last year’s contestants were all incredible, they brought something new to reality TV. So the bar is high.’

The players live in separate apartments in a single building and play games and chat with each other through The Circle. They rate each other frequently and unpopular players are blocked.

Once blocked, and before leaving the show, the eliminated players will get to meet other players in person for the first time.

Ultimately, the most popular player at the end of the series wins a cash prize.

The Circle is returning to Channel 4 soon.

Louis Theroux confessed it’s one of the ‘most upsetting’ things he’s been a part of (Picture: Amanda Benson/BBC Radio 4/PA Wire)

Louis Theroux has admitted he was duped by Jimmy Savile and wants to do more to defend alleged victims of abuse.

The documentary maker described filming his 2001 documentary When Louis Met…Jimmy as ‘the strangest and most upsetting thing I’ve ever been involved in’.

Speaking at the Edinburgh TV Festival, Louis said he was unsure of Savile’s guilt when they met and even went on to say that he had ‘friendly feelings’ towards him at the time.

In 2011, following Savile’s death, more than 450 alleged victims reported incidents to the Metropolitan police.

The experience rocked Louis, who was shocked by Savile’s tactics to avoid being labelled a paedophile.

‘The hallmark of his offending was he was weirdly brazen in his ability to address it and take the position that is completely bizarre.

‘He had an ability not to be nobbled by it. When he was confronted about his offending, people did come to confront him and he had the ability to brazen it out.’

In the TV show, it was Savile who raised the subject of children, boasting about how he told people he hated children to put ‘salacious tabloid people off the hunt’.

‘Does it work?’ Louis asked.

‘It works a treat,’ Savile replied.

Unable to get it of his head, Louis has sought therapy the old fashioned way by writing down his thoughts and has devoted seven chapters of his upcoming book to Savile.

‘I felt I had a little bit of a responsibility. Having had – without seeking it out – an education in how grooming works and how abuse often takes place,’ he added.

It’s time for a new series of the hit teen drama 13 Reasons Why, and you can expect things to get even more sad and tense.

As with past seasons, there are 13 episodes in this one, and it’ll be focused on the death of Bryce, which was teased in the promo.

In this trailer, we saw a picture of Bryce placed on top of a coffin, which really doesn’t leave much to the imagination – he’s dead.

We’ll see further repercussions of the suicide of Hannah Baker, with this iteration picking up eight months after we left them last time.

If you’re more than ready to see what the high-schoolers have been up to, here’s everything you need to know.

A new clip has been released from Peaky Blinders series five, placing Tommy Shelby’s son Charlie in a dangerous position.

The BBC series is set to return for a two-night sprint across Sunday 25 August and Monday 26, which picks up as Tommy Shelby (Cillian Murphy) becomes MP for Birmingham South.

In a new three-minute clip released on Twitter, Tommy approaches a scarecrow on a field adorned in Peaky Blinders garb – uncovering a note beside the display.

‘Look down on earth and see the seeds you have sown,’ the note reads.

Tommy soon notices a landmine is placed nearby, only for his son Charlie to call him from afar alerting him to a phone call he’s received.

The footage cuts off as Charlie presumably heads onto the field and Tommy runs to stop him – so could this foreshadow a terrible tragedy for his young son?

It also correlates with past clips where Tommy is seen holding someone in the aftermath of an explosion, so there’s growing evidence to suggest series five is going to dark places.

The fifth season will also see Tommy face new adversary in fascist leader Oswald Mosley (Sam Claflin), who represents the rise and spread of fascism across in Europe in the 1930s.

Peaky Blinders series five kicks off on 25 August on BBC One at 9pm.

Rochelle Humes sympathises with mother forced to breastfeed on dirty train floor on This Morning

This Morning’s Rochelle Humes sympathised with a mother forced to breastfeed on the floor of a train when no one offered her a seat.

The presenter was shocked when 22-year-old Sophie Molineux told the story of how she had to breastfeed her son Chester on the dirty floor while travelling with her boyfriend.

‘I got on the train and it was full so we didn’t really have a choice at all,’ Sophie explained on the show.

When asked about the demographic on the train, she recalled: ‘In the priority seats there were teenagers and we didn’t feel like we could approach them.’

She described others on the train as ‘pretending we weren’t there,’ before a shocked Rochelle asked her: ‘Not even another mother offered you a seat?’

‘It had gone past that point,’ Sophie said.

Journalist and author Lottie Daley recalled that the same thing had happened to her three weeks ago.

‘I sat down and I waited for someone to offer me a seat and they didn’t,’ she recalled.

She went on to describe Britain’s attitude to breastfeeding as ‘disgusting’ and called for more education on the topic.

Rochelle, who has two daughters, agreed, explaining that she had struggled to breastfeed her first child.

However, she went on to say that breastfeeding is ‘the most natural thing in the world’ and argued that mothers shouldn’t judge each other, no matter how they decide to feed their children.

‘I hope we get to a point where, as mothers, we can stop judging other mothers,’ the 30-year-old pointed out.

Sophie previously spoke out about having to sit on the floor to feed her son, saying: ‘I was so shocked. There were around 50 people in the carriage and not one person moved.

‘We were stood in the aisle with seats either side of us so both sides of the train could see us stood there and no-one moved.

‘Chester’s now at an age that when he wants to breastfeed he just tugs at my top and makes it very obvious, it was one of those where I just had to breastfeed him.

‘Obviously I’d rather not sit on the dirty floor of a moving train breastfeeding him, it wasn’t the nicest place, but I didn’t really have much choice.’

This Morning airs on weekdays at 10.30 on ITV.

Jennifer Aniston was almost written out of Friends and thank goodness it didn’t happen

Jennifer Aniston almost had to let go of her iconic role as Rachel Green from Friends.

Can you imagine Friends without Jennifer Aniston?! We can’t.

And yet it almost happened. A new book on the show, Generation Friends, written by Saul Austerlitz revealed that Jen almost missed out on the opportunity to play the ditzy waitress-turned-fashionista due to a conflict with another project.

The claim suggested that Jen was already connected to a comedy called Muddling Through for another network at the time.

Austerlitz claimed that the show almost had to recast Rachel Green after Jen auditioned for the show in 1994. This was because producers were anxious about losing her during the first season if Muddling Through was picked up after the pilot.

According to The Sun, the network wanted Aniston so badly they buried Muddling Through by running TV movies around it to push ratings down.

After the show was cancelled the budding actress could focus on Rachel Green, and thank goodness for that.

Saul’s book, which will be released next month to coincide with the show’s 25th anniversary, reveals Friends show secrets, including that there was almost a ‘seventh’ friend.

‘Pat the Cop’ was supposed to be a secondary character interacting with Rachel, much like Gunther, before producers axed the idea.

Another interesting, ‘did you know?’ fact Saul’s book revealed is that the show was originally called Friends Like Us, and that Courtney Cox’s character Monica Geller had been initially cast as Janeane Garofolo.

The programme’s 25th anniversary is almost upon on us and as a present to fans, Fathom Events and Warner Bros will be bringing 12 classic episodes of the show to select theatres.

In an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, she said: ‘Okay, why not?’

‘You know what, because listen, I told you this. I would do it. The girls would do it. And the boys would do it, I’m sure.

‘Listen. Anything can happen.’

Lisa Kudrow, who played Phoebe Buffay in the comedy told Extra TV earlier this year said: ‘We should all get together!’

Dwayne Johnson’s epic comedy Ballers will end after fifth series, read it and weep

It is a sad state of affairs after Dwayne Johnson announced that Ballers will come to an end after the upcoming fifth series.

Can you hear that? It’s the wailing of fans across the world.

The 47-year-old actor admitted his heart is ‘full of gratitude’ for the success of the HBO show – in which he plays retired NFL pro Spencer Strasmore, who becomes a financial advisor after quitting the game – and says the programme has been the channel’s ‘highest-rated comedy in the past five years.’

Speaking in a video on Instagram, he said: ‘I felt like it was an opportunity not only to embrace culture, not only to embrace ambition, not only to embrace success as we do on the show but also to embrace the failures, which is a key and critical thing in life – to embrace those failures and learn from them.

‘Here we are five years later and you, the fans have made Ballers HBO’s highest-rated comedy the past five years.

‘Which is just incredible considering the tremendous comedies that have been on HBO.’

The Jumanji actor – who is also an executive producer on the show alongside Mark Wahlberg, Peter Berg and Andy Garcia – thanked the channel, cast and the supporters for helping to make the show successful and said it has been an ‘honour’ to work on the series.

He said: ‘I want to thank HBO for being tremendous partners, and I also want to thank the cast. We have all become great friends and family.

‘[They] have committed their time and talents to this show. It has been an honour to do, it has been an honour to produce, and it has been an honour to deliver to you guys, the fans.

‘Thank you for the support. Thank you for the love. Thank you for rocking with us, thank you for ballin’ with us. And enjoy this final season of Ballers starting this Sunday.’

You made us HBO’s highest rated comedy for years and most importantly, you helped create and sustain a platform for other actors to have the opportunity to work hard, grow and become household names. To me, the opportunity Ballers created for so many others, is the real gold of our show.

‘I love you, I thank you and enjoy our final season of BALLERS. This SUNDAY on @HBO (sic)’

Despite the end of Ballers, the Rock is reaching stratospheric levels of success. Not only did he marry long-time girlfriend Lauren Hashian in a gorgeous surprise ceremony in Hawaii but he is as of 2019, the highest-paid Hollywood actor right now, with earnings hitting £73.2 million.

Talk about a Midas touch.

Strictly Come Dancing class of 2019
The class of 2019 will be hitting our screens soon! (Picture: Catherine Tyldesley/Instagram)

The countdown to Strictly Come Dancing 2019 is on, as the date of the opening show was finally revealed.

It’s nearly time to dust off your dancing shoes, as a new bunch of celebs will be shimmying their way onto our screens on Saturday 7 September for the launch show.

We can’t believe how quickly it’s come around again!

The countdown begun on Instagram, with the official Strictly account sharing a video of celebrity contestant Michelle Visage writing out a number 15 with her finger (Disney Channel style!), to mark the 15 days until the show kicks off. Eek!

Eagle-eyed viewers will notice that there are 15 celebs competing on the new series, meaning that we can probably expect our Strictly stars to count down the wait until the show airs for us over the next few weeks.

Referencing Ru’s famous catchphrase, the video read: ‘Start your engines, #Strictly is back in 15 days! Saturday 7th September @bbcone ✨’

https://www.instagram.com/p/B1gJqabFOMl/

So we only have to wait two weeks until the series kicks off with its explosive launch show, which will feature incredible performances from the professional dancers and a show-stopping medley from pop superstar and queen of Glastonbury, Kylie Minogue. We can’t wait!

Most importantly of all, the launch will see our celebrities find out who they will be dancing with in the competition and we can find out if our predictions came true…

The celebs and pros met for the first time earlier this week, with Viscountess Emma Weymouth documenting their first rehearsal on Instagram.

https://www.instagram.com/p/B1cTsMODykT/

It’s been a jam-packed week for Strictly news, after the behind-the-scenes look at the Strictly trailer aired and it was revealed that Gorka Marquez and Graziano Di Prima would not be getting celebrity partners in the new series.

While they’ll be missed, don’t worry, as we’ll still be seeing them perform in the group numbers and on It Takes Two!

It could also mean that this is the year we finally see Neil Jones and Johannes Radebe dance with a celeb partner… only time will tell.

Strictly Come Dancing airs Saturday 7 September on BBC One.

This Morning was thrown into chaos as an unexpected helicopter landed right next to set live on air, nearly sending John Torode flying and causing Davina McCall and Rochelle Humes to have a bit of a meltdown.

Safe to say, they were blown away by it all. We’ll see ourselves out.

The usually pretty tame cooking section, which saw John whipping up crab linguine outside, all started to go downhill as a helicopter flying overhead began drowning out the audio.

Before we knew it, John’s ingredients were gone with the wind and he was clutching on to his linguine for dear life.

Presenters Rochelle and Davina broke down giggling as they pointed out: ‘It’s landing! It’s blowing everything away!’

Luckily, John took it all in his stride as he casually continued with the recipe, despite most of his ingredients being completely destroyed.

‘I asked it to come in about half an hour to pick me up,’ the presenter laughed, with Rochelle and Davina dubbing his efforts to keep the show going ‘heroic’.

Understandably, viewers found the whole thing hilarious, with one tweeting: ‘I love it when live TV goes wrong! That was so funny! @JohnTorode1 you are a true professional.’

Another viewer wrote: ‘Actually creasing at a helicopter flying over John Torode and blowing half his ingredients away.’

The helicopter landing on @JohnTorode1 on #ThisMorning is one the best things I’ve seen on tele this year!!!’ another pointed out.

And fans might be set to get more of the beloved daytime TV show, with it recently being reported that This Morning will fill in for the Jeremy Kyle Show with a ‘bumper’ time slot.

The Mirror reports that a ‘bumper This Morning’ time-slot will see the hosts Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield awarded with significant pay increases.

The proposed rejig will see 30 minutes of news kick things off at 6am, before a handover to Piers Morgan and Susannah Reid on Good Morning Britain at 6.30am.

Lorraine usually starts at 8.30am but will be moved to 9am before handing over to Holly and Phil at 10am.

Bosses are hoping to see the various hosts interact with each other for ‘more of a live event’.

This Morning airs weekdays at 10.30 on ITV.

Sean Spicer defends himself over Dancing With The Stars backlash

Sean Spicer may be the least popular contestant ever to be announced by Dancing With The Stars but he’s calling for TV viewers to give him a chance.

It might be falling on deaf ears given that #BoycottDTWS was trending seconds after Donald Trump’s former White House press secretary’s name was read out.

Even the show’s host Tom Bergeron released a statement alluding to his disappointment with the decision.

Now the self-confessed ‘spin-meister’ has given an interview where he says he will make sure the popular ABC show will be ‘a politics-free zone’, regardless that he will be forever linked to Trump in the eyes of many Americans.

After all, he seems to be following Trump’s strategy of all publicity is good publicity, even if it involves wearing spandex and sequins.

‘My hope is that at the end of the season, Tom looks back on this and realizes what a great example it was of being able to bring people of really diverse backgrounds together to have fun with each other, engage in a real civil and respectful way, and maybe show millions of Americans how we can get back to that kind of interaction,’ Spicer said in an interview with Access Hollywood.

He refers to a lengthy Tweet that Tom posted after Spicer was confirmed to be taking part.

The Dancing with the Stars host told his 264,000 followers he had hoped Season 28 ‘would be a joyful respite from our exhausting political climate and free of inevitably divisive bookings from any party affiliation.’

He went on to say while he might disagree with producers choices of casting, everyone wanted what was best for the franchise.

Season 28 looks set to be a memorable one with some top names already confirmed including Khloe Kardashian’s ex Lamar Odom.

Dawson’s Creek legend James Van Der Beek will also take to the floor with Queer Eye‘s Karamo Brown and veteran model and actress Christine Brinkley.

Don’t Tell The Bride teases Game of Thrones themed wedding with DRAGONS

Don’t Tell The Bride is back, with a new series that includes a Game of Thrones-themed wedding and a bridesmaid who drops out on the day of the wedding. Gulp!

The popular E4 reality show returns to our screens on 1 September, with a new bunch of grooms waving goodbye to their brides-to-be for three weeks and planning their dream weddings on a £14,000 budget.

Most brides’ worst nightmare, the show is the ultimate cringe-watch, as we see these future husbands organise hen and stag dos, the ceremony and yes, even the dress, without their wives’ input.

And this series, the drama looks to go up a notch, as one fiancé attempts to hold his ceremony at a medieval castle and themed around the HBO fantasy series Game of Thrones. What could possibly go wrong?

To be fair, the roaring dragon does look pretty cool, although we are slightly less impressed by the wedding party dressed as knights…

This wedding will join a long line of unusually themed weddings to come out of the show, including Beauty and the Beast, Peaky Blinders and, um, Titanic-themed ceremonies. Surely they were setting themselves up for failure with that last one?

From the look of the 40-second teaser, we can expect even more of the drama we’ve come to expect from the Don’t Tell The Bride, which first aired on BBC Three in 2007 before moving to E4 in 2017.

Between a groom who forgets the rings, a bridesmaid who pulls out on the day and lots of crying, it looks to be a seriously explosive, stomach-turning series.

We can’t wait to watch through our fingers in horror, then tell our SOs that they can NEVER do this to us.

Don’t Tell The Bride airs on Sunday 1 September on E4.

Martin Freeman tapped into real-life detective for chilling moments in true-crime drama A Confession

Martin Freeman has revealed he actually texted the detective he’s playing in new drama A Confession while on set to find out how he felt at chilling moments.

The Sherlock actor is set to star as Steve Fulcher in the series, which will tell the true story of the detective who breached police protocol to catch a killer. However, the move ended up costing him his career and reputation.

Speaking about the series, the 47-year-old explained the role is a little different from what he’s used to.

‘I’m playing a real person I actually have access to – I was able to meet him,’ he said on This Morning.

‘From an actor’s point of view it was really useful,’ he added, explaining that he was able to ‘get inside’ the detective’s head.

With Davina McCall and Rochelle Humes asking if he ever messaged the real-life Steve, Martin affirmed: ‘I would do exactly that.’

‘Occasionally on the way to work or at work I would send him a quick text, just to get an idea of how he was feeling at this particular point in this meeting, with these people who were about to haul you over the coals, how were you feeling there, were you feeling scared or excited?’

The star explained that he sympathises with Steve, acknowledging: ‘The primary tragedy in this is the death of two young women.

‘But behind the tragedy, something pretty bad happened to this guy. I think he did something that most of us, most lay people would think “What a logical, common-sense approach to trying to get a killer.”

Speaking about acting alongside Harry Potter star Imelda Staunton and Happy Valley’s Siobhan Finneran, Martin admitted they made his job easier.

‘You are reacting to each other, I wasn’t having to go into scenes with them and rev myself up to feel emotion,’ he explained.

And he’s passionate about the series being as true to the real life events as it can be, reasoning: ‘The truth is horrific enough without us having to layer on loads of melodrama.’

The actor previously spoke out the new drama, and about how he sympathises with Steve.

‘My sympathy and my empathy is certainly with Steve Fulcher, let’s put it that way,’ Martin told Digital Spy, ‘and not just because I’ve played him. I don’t know how anyone could say he did the wrong thing, morally.

This Morning airs weekdays at 10.30 on ITV.

Watch Vikings cast pretend to be trees swaying to invisible breeze in bizarre BTS moment

The cast of Vikings decided to act like swaying trees in the breeze on set during filming in what is a bizarrely satisfying clip.

As far as internet content goes, it’s pretty good.

Vikings stunt actor Michael Redmond uploaded a video of some of the stars dressed in full costume, swaying gently to an invisible breeze.

It’s not clear whether they’re waiting for food or if the stress of season six has finally got to them, but whatever it is, we are here for it.

The video is captioned: ‘When you give up on life and decide to be a tree 🥴 #vikings @historychannelcanada @historyvikings #stunt #ontheedge #setlife #actor #acting #losingit #lostit #lalaland #throwbackthursday’.

Fans of the show descended to the comments section, where they let loose their amusement.

‘You guys look like you have so much fun. Love it!’ one wrote.

‘Coolest trees ever,’ another added, whilst a third wrote: ‘Blowing a gale out there!’

Others suffered withdrawal symptoms. ‘Ohh Vikings come back!’

The final season of the epic History show will be arriving to screens later this year and fans are beside themselves with theories about what will happen.

Viewers are convinced Ragnar – played by Tavis Fimmel – will be coming back when one fan claimed he may have made himself immune to snake venom after developing a fascination with the creations back in season three.

A Reddit posited: ‘Starting at least in season 3 Ragnar starts becoming fascinated with snakes. In the season that he lasts raids Paris we even see he has a house full of them.

‘Now is it possible that Ragnar has slowly made himself immune to different snakes’ venom and didn’t die in the pit?’

Vikings season six is due to return to History Channel and Amazon Prime Video this Autumn.

Strictly Come Dancing pros Dianne Buswell, Neil Jones and more glam up for new trailer

The cast of Strictly Come Dancing 2019 put their best faces forward in a gender-bending new trailer for the upcoming series, which will kick off on Saturday 7 September.

Oti Mabuse, Dianne Buswell and the gang star in the edgy video, which sees our Strictly pros give us serious Camp at the Met Gala vibes.

From Giovanni Pernice glitter-fying Gorka Marquez, to Janette Manrara covered in flowers, we’re obsessed with the arty direction this video has gone in and can’t wait for Strictly to come back and pump a little (or a lot) of extra back into our weekends.

Some of our favourite looks are Karen Hauer’s awesome half dress, half suit look (very Michael Urie!) and Anton du Beke’s in-cred-ible tuxedo and full skirt combo.

We also laughed out loud at the cheeky dig at Strictly’s resident king of social media AJ Pritchard, who Karen knocks into as he’s – of course – taking selfies.

With professional rehearsals kicking off at the end of July, it’s an exciting time for our Strictly dancers, as they practice for September’s launch show where they will also find out which famous face they’ll be hitting the dance floor with this year. Eek!

While all our Strictly dancers (bar new girl Nancy Xu) feature in the video, we’re still yet to officially hear which of our pros will be getting a partner this year.

For the boys, it looks like Neil Jones and Johannes Radebe may finally be stepping up the plate and replacing new dad Gorka Marquez and Graziano Di Prima, both of whom revealed this week that they would only be performing in group numbers this year.

On the girls’ side, we’ve got Nancy and Luba Mushtuk who are yet to have compete, but will all of last year’s female dancers stay in the competition? Only time will tell.

Jeremy Kyle is set to return to ITV next year, but his potential new show will be in a different slot following the tragic death of a guest who appeared on The Jeremy Kyle Show this year.

The mid-morning talk show was cancelled in May 2019 after a guest who was due to appear on the show died by suicide after filming an episode of the show, before it was broadcast.

ITV’s director of television, Kevin Lygo told Sky’s Kay Burley that Jeremy Kyle would return to TV with The Kyle Files next year, as well as a pilot for another show.

He revealed: ‘No, I doubt he will [return to the same slot]. I can’t imagine what we would do. I have spoken to him about it, of course, and I think he feels as well that whatever he does next, it shouldn’t be in that 9.30am slot.

‘We have an ongoing commitment to The Kyle Files which is his style of journo thing which will be ready next year sometime.’

He added that Jeremy may also be fronting a new format, which they are currently working on, explaining: ‘We are piloting something with him and we will just have to have a look because he is a consummate broadcaster and it would be absolutely wrong to apportion blame of the show against the presenter of it.

‘We don’t hold him in any bad way. We will look to find another show with him but I think it is unlikely it will go in the same slot.’

Steven Dymond Jeremy Kyle guest died by suicide

The Jeremy Kyle Show had been a firm fixture in the mid-morning schedules since 2005, but was cancelled earlier this year after the death of a guest.

63-year-old Steve Dymond had filmed an episode of the show a week before he took his own life, and had taken a lie detector test on the show which had determined he had been unfaithful to his partner, which he initially denied.

Following his death, the show was taken off air before the episode was broadcast, with ITV releasing a statement reading: ‘Given the gravity of recent events we have decided to end production of The Jeremy Kyle Show.

‘[The show] has had a loyal audience and has been made by a dedicated production team for 14 years, but now is the right time for the show to end. Everyone at ITV’s thoughts and sympathies are with the family and friends of Steve Dymond.’

It’s not yet clear what format Jeremy’s new show will be, but his documentary show, The Kyle Files, will remain as before.
