Lady Nadia Essex has teased that she could be about to return to our screens after leaving Celebs Go Dating – and heading into the jungle.

The star admitted that it would be a ‘dream’ to head onto I’m a Celebrity, before hinting that she could be going Down Under sooner rather than later.

Speaking to Daily Star Online, Nadia said: ‘The jungle would be my dream! I’m scared of almost everything… spiders, the dark, you name it.

‘But a show like that would prove how far you could push past your fears and I’d love to see whether I’d sink or swim!’

Nadia, 37, then added that she has something ‘exciting’ being announced in the next couple of months.

Colour us intrigued, Nadia!

Nadia throwing her hat in the ring for the much-loved Australian reality show comes as rumours about who will enter this year’s line-up begin to surface.

Coronation Street’s Alan Halsall sparked speculation yesterday with a picture of himself on a hike joking: ‘It’s a jungle out there’ with a caterpillar emoji.

Rugby player James Haskell is also said to be in advanced talks, with the hope being that he’ll discuss behind-the-scenes of performing for England and his in-laws Richard and Judy.

Other rumours have included Rak-Su star Myles Stephenson, fresh from his split with Gabby Allen.

Paul Hollywood’s ex Summer Monteys-Fullam shut down rumours that she was offered a shot at the jungle crown.

Blue singer Duncan James has also denied rumours that he was set to enter the jungle too.

I’m a Celebrity returns later this year on ITV.

The cast of Top Boy descended on London for the premiere ahead of the season three launch on Netflix.

Drake and Ashley Walters led the charge as the stars and some famous faces walked the red carpet to promote the show.

The former So Solid Crew star definitely stood out in an eye-catching bright yellow jacket, which he wore over a dark top and trousers.

And while we’re properly into September, Ashley held onto the last moments of summer by wearing stylish sunglasses.

Drake oozed glamour wearing a dark blazer over a high-neck jumper, finishing his look off with a silver chain.

His smart outfit could signal the God’s Plan rapper’s foray into television, and he definitely looks the part.

Season 14 is just weeks away (Picture: FX)

The first trailer has been released for It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia season 14, which is set to kick off this month.

After posting a number of behind-the-scenes clips and cameo teases, the show’s Twitter account released the first official trailer for the next season.

So what can we expect? Well it seems business as usual for the gang, with Mac, Dennis, Charlie, Sweet Dee, and Frank all popping up suitably loud and proud.

In the emotionally surprising season 13 finale, Mac (Rob McElhenney) came out as gay to his father by performing a five minute contemporary dance – reducing Frank (Danny DeVito) to tears.

While it’s not clear from this trailer where the follow-up will lead, it’s likely we won’t be seeing many jokes revolved around Mac’s suppressed sexuality – which became a running theme throughout the show.

What we can expect is an actual appearance from Dolph Lundgren, after showing him behind-the-scenes on the set.

It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia season 14 kicks off on 25 September in the US, with episodes available to stream now on Netflix.

Could Christian Navarro be the Little Mermaid’s Prince Eric? (Picture: Metro.co.uk)

Netflix’s 13 Reasons Why’s Christian Navarro took his shot to be Little Mermaid’s Prince Eric in the reboot – and it might have actually worked!

The actor, best known as the sensitive and level-headed Tony on the controversial Netflix show, spoke out on Twitter about his desire to be part of the Disney reboot.

A couple of weeks ago, following the news that Harry Styles had turned down the role, he declared to his fans: ‘So I heard Harry Styles passed on Prince Eric, well…I can sing. Black Ariel/Latino Prince.

‘No one’s called but Season 3 drops next week and I think it’s one hell of an audition.’

Fast forward to this week, and Christian revealed that following a fan campaign to get him noticed by the movie company, he’s actually been given a shot at the hunky prince in question.

‘Idk what happened to the other tweet. But! @disney saw this, saw your support, and gave my team a call.

‘They wanted to see what I could do. Tapes sent. Fingers crossed. Let’s make some history. #iloveyou3000 #PrinceEric #TheLittleMermaid’

13 Reasons Why
Christian has been dealing with hard-hitting subjects in 13 Reasons Why (Picture: Netflix)

Questions over who’s been cast on the show has been rife after the announcement that Halle Bailey will take on the role of Ariel.

It’s also been rumoured, but not confirmed, that Melissa McCarthy will play Ursula.

But it’s the casting of Prince Eric that people are dying to know, with a social campaign backing BTS’s Jimin to take on the part.

Bookies have also thrown their odds behind Timothee Chalamet, Jordan Fisher, Shawn Mendes and Niall Horan.

13 Reasons Why is available now on Netflix.

The Walking Dead has finally shown us how to know if we’re at risk of turning into zombies

Picture: AMC The Walking Dead finally explain the difference between a fever and zombie infection
We must listen to this unqualified Doctor (Picture: AMC)

In case anyone was worrying, we are finally able to tell the difference between a regular fever and a zombie infection.

The Walking Dead published a 1950s style PSA on Twitter to help all apocalypse survivors understand the difference between the two very distinct problems.

Doctor Eugene Porter –portrayed by Josh McDermitt – hosts the videos and says: ‘Hello. My name is Doctor Eugene Porter.

‘I may not have a doctoral degree in medicine but I can diagnose normal cranial discomfort versus the mortal contraction of the pathogen of unknown origin.’

Now, here’s how to tell you’re not becoming one with the undead.

If you’re feeling dehydrated, you probably have a fever, as explained by the ‘doctor’, but if your temperature is over 43 degrees Celsius, you may be turning into a zombie.

Hmm, the distinction doesn’t seem too obvious.

The PSA continues on and claims if you’ve had bad food and get food poisoning, you may get a fever.

However, if the condition worsens over the next 12 hours, you might want to tell your friends and family.

It seems like being part of The Walking Dead just means always assuming any illness may result in ‘turning’.

The Walking Dead
This wouldn’t have happened if they monitored their fevers (Picture: Fox)

The informational video is released ahead of the zombie drama’s Season 10 premiere next month, where we will see Eugene be part of a ‘love quadrangle’ (what?) with new mother Rosita, baby daddy Siddiq and Rosita’s boyfriend Gabriel.

Speaking on Eugene’s interest in Rosita during an April appearance at Walker Stalker Con London, Josh said: ‘I think he’s ready to settle down.

‘I think if this were pre-apocalypse, he was always girl-crazy, but he might not have ever thought, “Oh, I have an opportunity to settle down with someone and build a life with them”.

‘But what’s kind of crazy is all of a sudden he’s found himself in this position where he’s like, “I’m a different person than I was, and here’s someone that I love, and I would love to spend my time with them, but they don’t love me back in that way.”

‘And so it’s really hard for him.’

It looks like Eugene needs to be prescribed a good dose of rebound.

The Walking Dead season 10 kicks off on Sunday 6 October in the US, and returns in the UK on Fox Monday 7 October.

Gemma Collins fans were horrified on Diva Forever’s finale when Jonathan Cheban mocked the star’s clothing store and labelled her a ‘chubby brat’.

The pair were already on rocky ground when they met up at a swanky LA restaurant, with Matt Evers and Jonathan’s mum Galina joining them for a peacemaking/goodbye dinner.

But after they seemed to be make nice with each other, viewers couldn’t believe Jonathan as he started knocking down Gemma’s success.

When she told him that she was getting tired of being filmed non-stop for months, Jonathan told her: ‘You could be owning a freaking store selling overweight clothes for women.

‘The cameras are a pretty could trade off. You could be, “hello gals, this morning I have a XXXL, beautiful pink charmeuse for all you ladies!”,’ mocking Gemma’s Essex accent as he did so.

‘That could be your every day.’

…You do know she still owns that store, Jonathan?

He later labelled her a ‘chubby brat’ for her demanding ways

Viewers were mortified – because no one talks to the GC that way.

Gemma ended Diva Forever tonight with her attempting to make it in Hollywood – with little success.

But she definitely gave it her all – arriving at a Hollywood premiere for Godzilla and demanded the paparazzi took photos of her…only to skip out the back instead of actually watching the film.

She later was joined by bestie Charlie, and they went off on holiday together.

While she may not have made it over there yet – she’s not willing to give up just yet.

Love Island winners Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea squash split rumours by planning cute reunion in Ireland

Amber and Greg have squashed split rumours by planning a cute reunion (Picture: Instagram)

Love Island winners Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea have found themselves at the centre of split rumours recently.

It’s been a while since they’ve been pictured together (cue fans being sent into meltdown that it’s already all over for the pair), but that doesn’t necessarily mean the pair have broken up.

In fact, new reports have revealed that Amber and Greg have planned a cute little reunion over in Ireland this weekend.

You’ve got to remember the winning couple have been dealing with long distance since leaving the Love Island villa, as Amber is based in Newcastle and Greg is based over in Ireland.

Amber Gill
Amber told boyfriend Greg she was ‘missing him’ as they battle long distance (Picture: Instagram)

A source told MailOnline: ‘It has been difficult for them both doing long distance but they’re much together and Amber is really looking forward to seeing Greg again and spending time with him in Ireland.’

Amber is reportedly flying into Ireland on Friday night and it seems like absence has only made the heart grow fonder, as three days ago she shared a sweet post about her rugby player boyfriend on Instagram.

Sharing snaps of the duo on a boat together, Amber told Greg she missed him. She wrote: ‘My babes // Squinty squinterson. Miss ya.’

Her poking fun at Greg not being able to open his eyes in the photo didn’t go unnoticed by him, as he commented: ‘How you kept your eyes open I’ll never understand… is there anything you can’t do?’

So far it seems all of the Love Island couples that made the final – Amber and Greg, Ovie and India, Molly-Mae and Tommy and Curtis and Maura are still together.

And if we’re not seeing much from our islanders, it’s because they seem to be keeping things more private this time round.

Maura and Curtis were also rumoured to have split, but she insisted they are very much still together, they just don’t want to be publicising their relationship 24/7.

In an interview with The Sun, she said: ‘I’m not going to just to prove to other people we’re happy. We know we’re happy.’

One couple that have called it quits, however, is Chris Taylor and Harley Brash. After finding love quite late on in the villa and given the boot just a mere few days before the final, the pair have decided they’re better off as friends.

Breaking his silence on the break up, Chris revealed: ‘We both have the upmost support and respect for one another and the decision was made amicably.

‘I will be very proud of everything she has done and everything she’ll do.’

Celebrity MasterChef blunder as Neil Ruddock makes ridiculously huge ‘asteroid’ eatballs

Neil Ruddock made some mammoth sized meatballs (Picture: BBC)

Celebrity MasterChef contestant Neil ‘Razor’ Ruddock got a a bit over enthusiastic with his meatballs on the latest episode.

Neil and fellow contestants Joey Essex, Oti Mabuse and Zandra Rhodes were divided into two teams for their next challenge.

This week they were tasked with making lunch for over 100 members of staff at London Zoo.

Neil and Joey created a menu that consisted of beef meatballs in tomato sauce with pasta, and bread and butter pudding for dessert.

The former footballer had the great idea to put cheese in the middle of each meatball as a nice surprise for the diners.

Unfortunately he had made his meatballs so big that you’d need two hands to lift each one.

Celebrity MasterChef
Neil was paired with reality TV star Joey Essex (Picture: BBC)
Celebrity MasterChef
The meatballs were ‘like asteroids’ (Picture: BBC)

And not only that, but he gave up with the whole ‘cheesy middle’ thing halfway through as he feared he would run out of time to fill them all.

So he ended up with a ‘cheesy lucky dip’ where some people would get cheese inside and some wouldn’t.

But what struck everyone was the size of the meatballs.

Judge John Torode said: The meatballs aren’t meatballs. They’re massive. They’re huge things. And they could go dry on the outside and not be cooked on the inside. I hope they’re cooked on the inside.

‘I have never seen meatballs that big in my life. They are like asteroids.’

However the meatballs went down a storm as one staff member commented: ‘They were epic. Don’t think I’ve ever eaten anything that big in my life. I dare say I won’t need to eat again until Saturday. That was amazing.’

Gregg Wallace added: ‘Hasn’t got a great deal of finesse but I guess that’s not what we expected from Neil. It’s a crowd pleaser. It went down really, really well.’

Celebrity MasterChef airs continues Friday at 9pm.

Jamie Redknapp reveals he soiled himself in front of Thierry Henry

Jamie Redknapp has recalled the very embarrassing times he had a toilet mishap in public.

Jamie usually comes over cool, calm and collected, but he has moments when the nerves have got to him a bit too much.

On the upcoming episode of A League Of Their Own, the former footballer gets asked if he has ever been nervous.

As he revealed that he has had nerve-wracking moments, Jamie confessed that he has accidentally soiled himself in public on two occasions.

Presenter Clare Balding asked what was the most nervous he’s ever been in his life.

Jamie replied: ‘I used to get nervous playing football, and it’s taken 14 series to tell this story. It was the town championships, in Bournemouth. Under 11s. 100m final.

‘I was feeling good, I was the favourite. Mum and Dad were there. I got into my position, and as I’ve gone down I pooed my pants.

Jamie Redknapp
Jamie made the gross confession on A League Of Their Own (Picture: Sky)

‘Should I put my hands up in front of all the kids in Bournemouth and say “I pooed my pants”? I had white shorts on.’

When comedian Romesh Ranganathan asked if that was only time that had ever happened to him, the 46-year-old confessed the second time was in the same room as Thierry.

‘It was Thierry Henry’s first day at Sky and he was sitting next to me. I had a really bad tummy. Same thing [happened],’ Jamie recalled.

‘We were on air. I can’t turn round to Dave Jones and Thierry and say “look do you mind if I just go to the toilet?”. I had no way out.’

Romesh joked: ‘So you sat there and thought, “I need a s**t but there’s no way I’m gonna have time to go to the toilet so I’m just gonna do it here”.’

Flustered, Jamie replied: ‘I didn’t mean it, it just came…can we move on? This is Clare’s first show.’

This week’s guests on the sport-themed show are Rob Beckett, Harry Winks and Chemmy Alcott.

A League Of Their Own airs Thursday at 9pm on Sky One and NOW TV.

Dancing On Ice bosses have reportedly ditched Love Island winner Amber Gill from the lineup of the show’s new series.

The skating show will be back early next year and rumour had it that Amber would be representing Love Island on the ice, as she tried her hand at figure skating just like ex-islanders Wes Nelson and Kem Cetinay.

But, new reports are now suggesting show bosses have now ditched the Newcastle beauty because they want Maura Higgins to sign up instead.

Sources told The Sun: ‘Dancing On Ice producers were always going to sign a Love Island star for next year’s series and they wanted a girl this time after having two guys in the past.’

‘It was looking hopeful for Amber, but Maura pipped her to the post with her sense of humour and personality,’ they added.

It comes after an insider told the publication that they were ‘delighted’ to snap up Amber, after falling in love with her ‘gutsy’ personality.

Can they not just have both instead? We’d be all over that.

Metro.co.uk has contacted a spokesperson for ITV and reps for both Amber and Maura.

Amber won this year’s series of Love Island with rugby player boyfriend Greg O’Shea.

The adorable couple stole the hearts of the nation, after Greg swooped in and picked up Amber again, after her pretty brutal rejection from ex Michael Griffiths.

Maura, meanwhile, is still dating Curtis Pritchard and made sure to hit back at split speculation recently, insisting the couple are consciously choosing not to share all of their relationship on social media.

The Handmaid’s Tale’s book sequel set to get its own TV series on Hulu

The Handmaid’s Tale fans can rejoice, because they’re about to get a whole lot more of Gilead.

The Testaments, Margaret Atwood’s upcoming sequel to her groundbreaking 1985 dystopian book, is getting made into a TV series.

Although it hasn’t been published yet, MGM and Hulu are already developing the book into a show, Deadline reported.

The Testaments picks up more than 15 years after The Handmaid’s Tale and is narrated by three female characters that fans are already familiar with – including Aunt Lydia.

MGM and Hulu are currently in talks with The Handmaid’s Tale showrunner Bruce Miller about how The Testaments ‘can become an extension of the series’.

Elisabeth Moss fans are already being spoiled, what with a fourth season of The Handmaid’s Tale in the works for Hulu next year.

the handmaid's tale
The Testaments, which hasn’t been published, is already being developed into a series for Hulu (Picture: Getty)

And now this?

Seriously guys, blessed be the fruit.

US rights for The Testament, which will be published on September 10, were acquired by Doubleday and Anchor Books last year.

They noted at the time that The Handmaid’s Tale has become a ‘symbol of the movement against’ Donald Trump,  and stands for ‘female empowerment and resistance in the face of misogyny and the rolling back of women’s rights around the world’.

The series has received a number of accolades including Golden Globes and Emmys for its story following the life of a woman forced to bear children for the sterile in the totalitarian regime of Gilead.

While the series has remained a critical success, season three has received backlash with viewers divided over its unrelentingly bleak scenes.

Elisabeth, 36, recently revealed that she almost turned down the role of June – which has since become one of the defining characters of her career.

The actress admitted she wasn’t keen to commit to another TV show after Mad Men, but ‘pure jealousy’ that another star could take the role prompted her to say yes.

‘I was thinking about whether to do the show one evening and I remember having an almost nightmarish experience of waking up in the middle of the night imagining not taking it and someone else doing it,’ she told Heat magazine.

‘I pictured that in my mind and then I thought to myself, “No, no, no, no, no someone else is not getting their hands on this.” So I said yes.

‘That’s why I did it – pure jealousy and competitiveness.’

If you thought Love Island’s Maura Higgins and Curtis Pritchard have already called it quits, think again.

They may have sparked split rumours among fans recently, but Maura has confirmed she and her dancer boyfriend are still very much together.

Fans were left a little concerned that it was all over for the Love Island couple, after noticing neither Maura or Curtis had been posting much about each other on social media.

And while that’s usually a pretty good sign of break up, Maura has hit back in a new interview insisting that the couple ‘don’t need to prove they’re happy’ by flooding Instagram with loved-up snaps.

She told The Sun: ‘We just don’t put everything on social media – and I’m not going to, just to prove to other people we’re happy.

‘We know we’re happy. We spend so much time together. We make time for each other,’ she said.

In fact, Maura and Curtis were seen looking pretty loved-up as they arrived hand-in-hand to Tommy Fury’s Boohoo launch just two days ago.

Maura has actually landed a deal with Boohoo herself and it seems the Irish reality star has found herself in huge demand, with Ann Summers reportedly snapping her up too.

Maura has reportedly landed a six-figure deal with Ann Summers, after they were left impressed by her pro-sex attitude.

She has been hailed as a sex-positive icon thanks to her openness when it comes to talking about sex so unashamedly both in the villa and in the public eye.

‘I think a lot of women are afraid to talk about sex, but it’s a natural thing,’ she told Grazia.

‘Why not talk about it? I grew up always being able to talk to my mammy and daddy. I don’t feel ashamed.’

A Naked Attraction contestant spoke frankly about the dating challenges he faces as someone who is HIV positive.

Pablo, originally from Spain, appeared on the show to break the stigma surrounding his condition, hoped to find romance in the process.

As ever on the show, he was faced with six completely naked singletons who he had to choose from based on naked attraction alone.

The 30-year-old was diagnosed as HIV positive when he was 19.

Pablo said ahead of his appearance: ‘The minute you disclose you are HIV positive, people run for the hills.

‘When I tell people that I’m HIV positive, people think about Freddie Mercury. In fact I’ve been told I look a little bit like him.

‘The positive thing about Naked Attraction is that, we see each other naked before we go on a date. There will be no awkward conversations.’

Speaking to presenter Anna Richardson, he added: ‘I find that it’s difficult to meet people. I like to be open about people. When you bring that up it kills things off. There’s a lot of fear out there.

‘It’s perfectly fine to date someone who is HIV positive, to have sex with someone who is HIV positive. This is a good way to have it all in the open even before they see me.’

The men he met included one with a rather sizeable piercing, and another who was rocking gorgeous painted nails.

But he chose to go on a date with 26-year-old admin assistant Matt, and the pair got on so well that they decided to see each other again for a second date.

Viewers praised Pablo for speaking frankly about the condition and helping to bust some myths about it.

A Twitter comment read: ‘love #NakedAttraction generally & Anna Richardson especially, but tonight’s episode featuring an HIV+ man talking frankly about the challenges & stigma positive people face when dating was really powerful & important telly. Bravo @Channel4 & all involved, most of all Pablo.’

One viewer tweeted: ‘Pablos honesty about being HIV positive coupled with his lust for life and the fact he had everyone dancing to Mi Chico Latino, completely starkers, makes him hands down my favourite #NakedAttraction person EVER.’

‘Proud of u @C4Naked to actually talk about HIV not many people know about the drug PREP,’ another said.

Another comment read: ‘Love naked attraction and showing a man who’s HIV positive and him trying to date! Normalising these things!’

Naked Attraction airs Wednesdays at 10pm on Channel 4.

Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield’s funniest moments as they celebrate 10 years presenting This Morning together

Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield on This Morning
Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield have presented This Morning together for 10 years (Picture: ITV)

Today marks 10 years since Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield began presenting This Morning together.

Over the past decade, the king and queen of daytime television have brought us some of the best moments to ever grace the small-screen and for that we are thankful.

We can’t count the number of times Holly and Phil have erupted into a fit of giggles or how many times their infectious laughter has had us tearing up watching them.

So in celebration of this milestone, we’ve dug out some of Holly and Phil’s most iconic moments from the show that will have you chuckling to yourself in no time.

Holly and Phil turning up to present after the NTAs in 2016

In 2016, Holly and Phil turned up to present the daytime series not having slept.

Looking worse for wear the duo had been out celebrating their NTA win the night before, dropping by Ant McPartlin’s house to party well into the early hours.

Determined to enjoy their victory instead of getting 40 winks, they came straight in to host This Morning still in their attire for the awards ceremony.

‘So obviously you might have noticed, we’re still wearing the same clothes,’ Holly told viewers. ‘I haven’t been home yet.’

Working on a hangover never looked so good.

Holly bringing This Morning to a standstill after making a weird noise as she laughed

The presenters brought the whole show to a standstill three years ago when Holly made an odd noise as she giggled.

‘What the hell was that? What was that noise?’ Phil demanded as he sat dumbfounded. ‘You’ve never made that noise before.’

They were so in bits by the sound that they grabbed tissues to wipe away their tears of laughter, but still couldn’t contain themselves and carried on.

We challenge you not to crack up watching this.

Phil and Holly getting told off by Kim Woodburn

Phil and Holly were at the receiving end of Kim Woodburn’s wagging finger after her stint in the Celebrity Big Brother house in 2017.

‘I may be 74, don’t mess with me!’ the reality star warned as a scared Holly replied: ‘I wouldn’t, I’m terrified. Not a chance!’

‘You don’t know what you’re talking about Phil,’ the cleaner then slammed as he asked her about her feud with Coleen Nolan.

‘I don’t like you to have an attitude that I’m to blame when you know damn all about it.’

Cue the nervous laughter from us.

Holly insulting Gino D’Acampo’s spaghetti

We all know that This Morning cooking segments tend to be quite dry, but once in a blue moon there’s havoc in the kitchen and this one is a classic.

One of the greatest moments took place when Holly hurled an insult at Gino D’Acampo’s spaghetti and honestly, this will never not be hilarious.

‘If it had ham in it, it’s closer to a British carbonara,’ she commented as Pihl preemptively sensed chaos would ensue and was all of us as he whispered to himself: ‘Oh no, oh no!’

‘If my grandmother had wheels, she would have been a bike,’ Gino quipped, causing Holly to drop to the floor in hysterics and Phil to choke on his pasta.

Who knew Holly’s culinary criticism would lead to quite possibly the funniest clip in live television history?

Phil escaping the studio to slide down a helter skelter

After complaining that he hadn’t been invited to slide down a helter skelter that had been built outside the studio, Phil finally got his request granted halfway through a show back in 2013.

The host mysteriously left Holly’s side after an ad break but was later seen from the set’s window whizzing down the ride.

Like an overexcited manchild, Phil waved both hands in the air as went round and round causing a babble of laughter from the crew.

It literally looked like he was having the time of his life.

Holly stumbling over the world shitake

Slipping over words on the autocue is bound to happen at some point and Holly, unfortunately, stumbled over the word shitake back in 2012.

As she teased what was coming up on the show she almost dropped an expletive when talking about the veggie – and to make matters worse Phil snorted at her error.

Holly immediately realised her mistake and of course, a giggle attack followed, causing her to announce the rest of her lines with her hands covering her mouth.

This Morning airs weekdays at 10.30am on ITV.

Drake was seriously humble about playing a key role in the return of gritty drama Top Boy at the new Netflix season’s premiere last night.

The God’s Plan rapper, who bought the rights to the Channel 4 series in 2017, thanked the cast and crew for allowing him to be a part of its revival and all the behind-the-scenes team for pulling it off.

‘I think September 13th is a really big UK heritage moment that you should be proud of,’ Drake said as he addressed audience members. ‘You all made it happen, I just wanted it to happen.

‘To the cast new and old, the crew, the writers, the production team, everybody that pulled this all together, I really do appreciate it.’

He continued: ‘I just want to say thank you so much for allowing me be a part of it.

‘I know a lot of the time people are like, “Yo, you’re not even from there, don’t ever forget you’re not from there.”

‘I’m so proud of the growth of everybody.’

Drake and Ashley Walters, who plays Top Boy’s Dushane, led the charge on the red carpet at last night’s London premiere in Hackney.

The star-studded event took place just a few hours after Netflix shared new imaged of the reboot, getting fans all excited for the six-year wait to be over.

The next chapter of the show consists of 10 episodes and will also see Ashley and Kane Robinson (Sully) reprise their roles from the first two seasons, while the likes of Dave and Lil Simz have joined the cast.

Top Boy launches Friday 13 September on Netflix.

The Loudest Voice episode one review: Russell Crowe anchors the rise of Fox News

The Loudest Voice
Russell Crowe as Roger Ailes (Picture: Sky)

Russell Crowe transforms into former Fox News CEO Roger Ailes for new drama The Loudest Voice, a pedestrian exploration of one of America’s most despicable figures.

Based on the book by Gabriel Sherman, this new Showtime series charts the birth of Fox News in the 1990s, as Ailes enforces his vision of a new kind of news broadcast which prioritises entertainment over the facts.

Before you settle into the world of fired up media organisations, Russell Crowe’s alarming appearance as Ailes might be a cause for distraction in the opening episode. Sporting a fat suit and a head-ballooning bald wig, his transformation isn’t quite as eloquent as recent triumphs like Gary Oldman in Darkest Hour — and you might find yourself working out where Crowe begins and Ailes ends during camera close-ups.

The attempts at ageing other actors, notably Simon McBurney as Rupert Murdoch, also give the show an artificial, rubber feel. Like you’re watching actors replicating these media executive moguls for a Saturday Night Live skit, with the presence of Seth MacFarlane as Fox News vice-president Brian Lewis only adding to the sense everyone’s about to burst into a parody sing-along.

The Loudest Voice new
The look of Ailes on Russell is slightly distracting (Picture: Sky)

Beneath the questionable exterior (let’s not mention the distorted banners introducing each character like video game fighters), there’s an efficient if unremarkable drama to enjoy. The opening episode is essentially a countdown to the launch of Fox News — as tensions rise over Ailes’ vision as his lust for ratings comes at the expense of journalistic principles.

While it’s engaging, with the best scene seeing Crowe let loose when Ailes shouts for control during a board meeting, the show feels oddly out of step with the personalities in the story. Tom McCarthy, who also directed Spotlight, brings a sharp, thorough precision to the business angle here, but the show struggles to pop when it turns attention to the private lives of character’s themselves.

Of course, future episodes will likely connect to Ailes’ ties to Donald Trump and the sexual harassment allegations which ended his career — but the show’s approach so far feels too restrained for a show about a news organisation known for shooting wildly, and dangerously, from the hip.

As the first episode ends with the launch of Fox News, there’s a chance The Loudest Voice is merely warming up to its true intentions. Based on the evidence here though, it feels like a show struggling to find its own voice between dodgy hair pieces and the relevance of its subject.

The Loudest Voice releases on Sky Atlantic and NOW TV 5 September.

Susanna Reid unimpressed by Paul Hollywood’s organ innuendo on Great British Bake Off

Susanna Reid has revealed that she was left with a sour taste in her mouth after hearing Paul Hollywood’s innuendo on the Great British Bake Off.

Tuesday’s episode of the Channel 4 competition show saw the judge ask contestant Henry how big his organ was as he began making his 4D showstopper biscuit shaped like the instrument he plays at his local church.

‘How big’s your organ going to be Henry?’ Paul joked.

The amateur baker then stifled a, ‘well….’ before the whole crew cracked up laughing and Paul especially seemed pretty pleased with himself.

And the fun didn’t stop there either as Henry later got a telling off about the size of his organ, with Prue Leith and Paul saying they expected it to be taller.

Although viewers had a good old giggle over the double entendre, Good Morning Britain presenter Susanna expressed she was rather unimpressed by the whole shebang.

Paul Henry - Bake Off
Paul Hollywood left Henry a little red-faced after he asked about the size of his organ (Picture: Channel 4)

‘I do just think, I’m not even sure that’s funny,’ she told co-host Ben Shephard during a heated debate. ‘That just felt like, oh come on Paul.’

Broadcaster India Willoughby and Jane Evans also joined the segment to discuss whether innuendo is appropriate in family shows like Bake Off.

Jane admitted that she felt ‘discomfort’ by play on words during family shows and doesn’t want to have to explain what they insinuate to her children.

‘It’s very inappropriate,’ she quipped. ‘I feel for the parents, parents have enough to do. They’re under enough pressure.’

But India shot these remarks down, saying: ‘Oh, come on. You’re all losing your sense of humour. It’s part of our heritage.’

Susanna interjected and pointed out that despite the argument, Bake Off has made use of playing on words since its conception in 2010.

‘To be fair, Bake Off has always had this,’ she said. ‘And it doesn’t seem to be knocking their viewing figures either.’

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.

The Handmaid’s Tale sequel The Testament is getting adapted for TV by Hulu and it’s not even been published yet

The minds behind the acclaimed adaption of Margaret Atwood’s The Handmaid’s Tale are already preparing to bring the novel’s new sequel, The Testament, for the small screen. The book itself has not yet even been published yet.

Atwood’s sequel to her acclaimed dystopia is set 15 years after the original and picks up from the perspective of three different women of Gilead, a tantalising change from the singular narrator of the original, Offred (played in the TV adaption by Elisabeth Moss).

Going into its fourth season, the Hulu series has already moved past the events of the source novel, and it’s the reported that showrunner Bruce Miller is already working with production company MGM and Atwood herself to see how her new book will compliment the already-established world of the series.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly about plans to integrate plot points from the new work into the already existing series, Atwood said: ‘What I have given them, in the locked writers’ room that nobody’s allowed into — including me — is a whole new whiteboard and a bunch of new characters.’

She went on to state that ‘the story of the characters in the show at the moment is left open, so it’s up to [showrunner] Bruce and the highly competent writing team as to how they get those people into position [for the sequel].’

Janine (Madeline Brewer) has been a victim of the oppressive system of Gilead, will things get better for the Handmaid’s in the sequel? Here’s hoping (Photo by: Jasper Savage/Hulu)

The fourth run of episodes for the Hulu series has proved to be rather divisive among fans who have criticised the unrelenting grim and dark tone of the show – June was the victim of a particularly heartbreaking twist in the third series finale.

While news of a sequel may not be good news for the women of Gilead per se, it’s definitely good news for fans of both the book and its adaption. Blessed be the fruit.

The Testament is set to be published on 10th September by McClelland & Stewart. The Handmaid’s Tale seasons one to three are available to stream now via Hulu.

Eagle-eyed Friends fans spot cameraman in The One Without The Ski Trip blunder

Friends fans have spotted another gaffe (Picture: NBC)

Eagle-eyed Friends fans have spotted a member of the crew in a season three episode, shattering the perfect sitcom facade.

A cameraman can be seen in shot in The One Without The Ski Trip as Joey Tribbiani (Matt LeBlanc) asks Ross Geller (David Schwimmer) and the rest of the gang who will be traveling with who as they prepare to complete their trip.

The moment takes place just after Ross buys the gang petrol at a rest stop and gets embroiled in a spat with Rachel Green (Jennifer Aniston).

As Ross leans against Carol’s (Anita Barone) car before telling the gang to go back home, viewers can see a man dressed in a plaid shirt operating a camera.

Fans were shocked as they shared their findings on Reddit, with one commenting: ‘Damn I have never noticed that.’

A camera operator can be seen in this season three episode (Picture: Netflix)

‘There are several moments throughout the show this happens,’ another added. ‘This includes seeing the lighting equipment above the stage as well.

‘We know that Friends is in a studio, but still magic nonetheless.’

Since the sitcom was uploaded to Netflix a number of behind-the-scenes operators have been noticed working in the background.

This has been put down to the size of the frame being much larger on the streaming platform.

Back in July, Friends fans noticed a crew member in the frame during season two episode The One With The Bullies.

A random man can be seen just as the adorable yet ferocious Jack Russell is seen yapping at the car door, clearly there to aid the stunt dog.

A camera operator also makes an appearance in season six episode The One With Rachel’s Sister as Rachel’s sister, played by Reese Witherspoon, shows up.

As Monica Geller (Courteney Cox) and Chandler Bing (Matthew Perry) talk on the sofa, he can be seen stood pretty much right behind them.

Friends is available to stream on Netflix in the UK.

She’s a multi-faceted woman, this Cara Delevingne, as she showed off her impressive party trick – playing guitar behind her head.

The actress is currently on screens alongside Orlando Bloom in Carnival Row, but she’s not just talented on our tellies, you know?

Turns out she’s got some slick moves with a guitar.

Appearing on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, it was revealed her party trick riffed (pun most definitely intended) on Jimmy Hendrix’s alternative playing methods.

As Jimmy produced an electric guitar from behind his desk, Cara was more than willing to give it a shot.

Explaining her skill, Cara said: ‘I like to show off, apparently.’

She continued laughing: ‘I always think with musical instruments, it’s always fun to play them how other people don’t.’

She admitted she recently filming an episode of Running Wild with Bear Grylls where celebs spend two days in the wilderness with him. She confessed she said she could ride a scooter but then spent over an hour trying to start an old Vespa so she could ride out to meet Grylls. Elsewhere in the interview the 27-year-old revealed she ate a dead rat while filming for Bear Grylls.

Yes, the supermodel really wasn’t living her best life when she was given the rodent’s carcass for lunch. But as disgusting as it sounds, she couldn’t help but flaunt her ‘achievement’ when talking with the host.

Discussing her time on the show, the actress said: ‘I did Bear Grylls recently, so much fun!

‘He came to my school when I was nine as he was one of the youngest people to have ever climbed Everest.’

Cara added: ‘I’m obsessed with him so when he asked me to do the show, I knew that whatever Bear asked me to do, I had to do it.

‘And I ate a rat! I told you I would do anything!’

Jimmy couldn’t believe what he had just heard, as he choked up: ‘You ate a rat? How could you though?’

Explaining how the situation came about, the guest laughed off the fact that her meal ‘wasn’t fresh’.

‘But the worst part was,’ she started: ‘We had just traversed down a hill and I saw this tail sticking out and I said: “Oh is that a rat?” And he was like: “Perfect, that’s our dinner!”’

Pulling a face, she squirmed: ‘I was like: “Nooooo!” Because it was really, urgh, they don’t set it up at all.’

The megastar went on: ‘And it had been dead for, well it didn’t smell that bad but it wasn’t fresh, obviously.

‘He picked it up and went: “Oh you can put it in your bag because you don’t have a lot of stuff in there! Thank you!”’
