It was up to Tim Wilson and Ella May to choose who was to leave, after they were made influencers, with the blocking seen on Thursday night’s show and the aftermath on the live show on Friday night.
It was Ella’s first time as an influencer and the fourth time in a row for Tim.
When it came time to decide who to block, Tim said: ‘We have chosen the player we think sadly has no more to give to The Circle. The player we have chosen is Jay.’
Who was Jay from the Circle?
‘Jay’ was really 43-year-old Katie Roe Carr, the real-life Jay’s mum who had been secretly playing the game as her son.

The gripping story is brought back to life in the first episode of Mark Of A Killer, which aired on Friday 4 October on Sky’s new channel, Sky Crime.
In the summer of 1990, the college town of Gainesville in Florida was terrorised when five female students were murdered in quick succession.
The victims were all fatally stabbed, with some assaulted before their bodies were left in lewd positions. One was found decapitated.
Quickly dubbed the ‘The Gainesville Ripper’, the serial killer initially avoided capture…

Britain’s Got Talent contestant reveals what goes on BTS (Picture: Rex / ITV)
Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions is about to wrap up with a spellbinding finale after celebrating some of its best acts throughout the years.
But despite the pre-recorded special being a hit with fans, it turns out the cast and crew were left exhausted after filming the entire series in just one week.
British magician and soldier Richard Jones, who didn’t quite make it through to the final round, opened up on what went down behind the scenes.
And to be frank, we’re tired just hearing about it.
When chatting to The Sun, he explained: ‘It was all in one week. I think it was Wednesday to Tuesday.’
He said Ant and Dec were left exhausted (Picture: Rex)
Richard Jones praised the cast and crew (Picture: Getty Images)
The star went onto discuss how Ant and Dec as well as the judges Simon Cowell, David Walliams, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden held it together.
‘The Britain’s Got Talent team are amazing,’ he confessed to the publication: ‘I don’t know how they do it but they hardly sleep at all in that week because they’re so busy.’
The contestant added: ‘But they’re always on form, always lovely and they’re a really switched-on team. I don’t know how they manage it.’
Richard dedicated his act to war veteran and magician Fergus Anckorn.
Fans hoped he would receive the golden buzzer (Picture: ITV)

But while fans cheered on for David Walliams to give the star his golden buzzer, the comedian held off and instead decided to send the salsa dancers Paddy and Nicko through to the final.
‘There are very few acts you can watch with a smile on your face and tears in your eyes,’ the 48-year-old told the dancers after they received a standing ovation.
‘This is one of the most joyous, most beautiful, most life-affirming acts we’ve ever had on Britain’s Got Talent.
‘So let’s not mess about. Let’s do this for everybody here.’
Speaking about the buzzer, Paddy said: ‘Just incredible. David, thank you so much. David is a very special name to me, it was my husband’s name, thank you so much.’
Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions final airs tonight at 8.30pm on ITV.

After receiving the infamous golden buzzer from David Walliams, the ballroom dancers Paddy and Nicko have pulled out all the stops for their performance.
Despite being 85-years-old, the salsa star has decided to take on the iconic Dirty Dancing routine with her fellow professional.
Starting off their act, Nicko can be heard shouting: ‘No one puts Paddy in the corner.’
They then take centre stage and show off a number of twists, with the judges watching in anticipation for the iconic lift.

However, we guess we’ll just have to wait and see if they manage to pull it off, as the preview cuts short mid-way through their act.
After watching them dance away to a standing ovation just last month, David Walliams said: ‘There are very few acts you can watch with a smile on your face and tears in your eyes.

David rushed around the desk to hit the golden buzzer, sparking a shower of confetti and a particularly grateful Paddy and Nicko.

Amanda Holden revealed the most dangerous act in Britain’s Got Talent history (Picture: ITV)
Amanda Holden brands Bello and Annaliese Nock the most dangerous act in Britain’s Got Talent history.
The father-daughter daredevil duo landed in the final thanks to their death-defying stunts that left everyone hiding behind their hands.
And the judge reveals their terrifying performance had her on the edge of her seat, in tonight’s instalment.
Which only had a little something to do with the intricate gown she rocks on the night.
The 48-year-old tells them: ‘Oh, my God! That, more than anything I’ve seen in the history of Britain’s Got Talent, which has been running for 13 seasons, was the most dangerous thing I have ever seen.
‘I literally, for the dress and other reasons, was on the edge of my seat.
‘You’re so brave!’
While Simon is left similarly breathless by the act, and takes a second to check his heart rate before telling the pair they deserve to be in the final.
Bello and Annaliese Nock left us all terrified (Picture: ITV)
The father and daughter came to fame after they competed on America’s Got Talent as solo acts, with stuntman Bello starring in season 12, back in 2017.
Keen to show off her own abilities, Annaliese popped up a year later, before they decided to team up and stress us all out even more.
But have Bello and Annaliese done enough to be crowned champions?

Strictly Come Dancing professional Dianne Buswell has tweeted her thanks to fans and defended dancing partner Dev Griffin after she was landed on her head after an eight-foot drop.
Taking to Twitter, she shared: ‘Morning everybody thank you for all the lovely msgs of concern.
‘We had an accident keyword being accident it was not devs fault at all these things happen.
‘But great news is I’m fine and we both can not wait to dance tonight xxxx thanks again for your thoughts and well wishes.’
Her words of encouragement come after it was reported Dev dropped her during rehearsals and she was rushed to hospital with Dev ‘doubled over in panic’ after the dancer came crashing to the floor.

An insider said: ‘Dev let her slip from his grasp and Dianne fell and landed on her head.
‘It couldn’t have been worse. It was horrible to watch Dianne lying prostrate on the floor…
‘Dev… was praying that there was no serious damage — the worst-case scenario was that she had some internal head injuries.’
But it turns out there was no damage, and Dianne was discharged with whiplash.
Dianne and Dev have been one of the frontrunners of the competition, earning a total score of 49 points across the first two live shows.
It isn’t the only accident to have hit the competition this year, with Jamie Laing forced to pull out after injuring his foot.

Alan Sugar insists The Apprentice wouldn’t be the same without him (Picture: Getty Images)
The Apprentice is currently part way through its 15th series, and still going strong after being on our screens for more than a decade.
But despite keeping it fresh, it sounds as though Lord Alan Sugar himself is hoping to have some downtime in the next five years.
That’s right, the 72-year-old has opened up on how long he thinks he can keep up the business show, and hopes to retire on the 20th series.
After all, he would be 77 by then, this man needs a break.
When chatting to journalist Laura Harding (via The Herald) the entrepreneur revealed his plans for the future of the show.
He said: ‘I’ve often had thoughts of when am I going to give it up, Next season will be the 16th. I think I would max out at 20 years, a 20-year ceremony.
He believes he is irreplaceable (Picture: BBC)
‘I think enough is enough then, I would be 77 and I might not be compos mentis by then, you never know.’
But despite potentially leaving our screens, that doesn’t mean the show can’t go on without him – although it appears Alan believes he’s irreplaceable with the history he’s had.
‘I’ve done it all,’ the star protested when asked if there would be someone big enough to fill his shoes: ‘So I think they would find it very hard.’
The founder of the show continued: ‘If you look at some of the other business programmes that are on TV, I’m not sure there is such an all rounder there.’
Shahin Hassan was the first contestant to be fired in this series (Picture: BBC)
To give him his due, he has been grafting since he left the womb.
He boasted: ‘I’ve loaded lorries, sat on the production line, produced more goods on the production line than any of these people have ever done, done my own marketing, my own advertising, buying components, getting the prices right, designing products.’
You get the idea.
The 15th series launched last week and already saw chartered engineer Shahin Hassan fired from the boardroom.
‘I’m very disappointed to leave at such an early stage – it should have been Lewis, but ultimately it was Lord Sugar’s decision,’ he said in the taxi ride home.
The Apprentice continues next Wednesday night on BBC One at 9pm.

Stranger Things fans love a conspiracy theory so David Harbour’s recent Instagram profile picture change has definitely got tongues wagging.
The end of season three, of course, saw his Jim Hopper sacrifice himself so that Joyce could close the gate to the Upside Down.
However, it’s long been thought that Hopper is not dead because his body never turned up – and that post-credits scene about ‘The American’ led to more theorising about where Hopper has been and what he has been up to.
Now, Harbour has changed his profile picture to a piece of fan art he originally shared in July which shows Hopper and Eleven hugging
In his profile, however, he has flipped the picture upside down and tiled it so that it now looks like Hopper staring at himself and Eleven hugging.
Is Hopper trapped in the Upside Down after all?
David Harbour’s Instagram picture has fans raising eyebrows (Picture: Instagram)
The trippy Netflix series, which has been renewed for season four, closed with Joyce (played by Winona Ryder) sacrificing Hopper (David Harbour) to spare Hawkins being taken over by the Mind Flayer and the USSR.
Once the credits rolled, we were given another headache as it turned out someone we know only as ‘The American’ is being held captive and will likely be the centre of the story when Stranger Things returns next year.
Now all the signs are pointing to Hopper (or Barb!), but one eagle-eyed fan noticed a hidden message in the title credits which quite literally spells out ‘Hopper is alive’.
Coincidence? Possibly, but showrunners The Duffer Brothers are notorious for leaving trails of telling breadcrumbs in the unlikeliest of places.
Richard Madeley’s wife Judy fell off sofa laughing as he flirted on The Circle (Picture: WireImage)
Richard Madeley flirted up a storm with Fatboy Slim’s son Woody when making a guest appearance on The Circle.
The Good Morning Britain presenter entered the competition to cause chaos, and was voted by the public to play a 27-year-old girl called Judy.
And it seems the broadcast journalist’s wife Judy Finnigan found his efforts to uphold the persona just as hilarious as we did, as she fell of the sofa laughing when watching him on the show.
During Friday night’s episode, the 63-year-old spoke to Emma Willis about his time on the reality game.
‘Judy fell off the sofa laughing,’ Richard explained: ‘She was watching at home alone. She said she literally fell off the sofa. We should have had a camera in the corner of the room’

He added: ‘She thought it was hilarious. She approved but she didn’t think I could do it.’
Addressing his relationship with Woody, the star joked about his age and realised it could have ended disastrously if he played himself.
‘Now that would be seriously pervy, wouldn’t it?’ he laughed: ‘Woody had a little flirt with Judy.’
He sure did. After Richard/Judy sent him a donut tree on his arrival, Woody slid into his DMs to thank him for the present.

And the famous catfish knew what was happening immediately.
He said: ‘I’m guessing being a young, testosterone-fuelled 18-year-old, if that’s who is he, he wants to private message me, to Judy, because he fancies her.
‘If he gets a bit fresh, I think I’ll know how I’ll play it.’
Not wasting any time at all, Woody went straight in for the kill and complimented ‘Judy’s’ profile picture, declaring: ‘Venice isn’t the only thing beautiful in that photo.’
‘Oh Woody…if only you knew,’ Richard laughed from the safety of his apartment.

Sorry but you won’t be getting your Tim fix tonight, Circle fans (Picture: Channel 4)
The Circle’s been fair dominating the Channel 4 schedules since it launched at the end of last month, with viewers flocking to watch the antics in the apartment block.
The second series of the show – which is now hosted by Emma Willis – follows a bunch of contestants living in separate apartments who communicate only via the titular social network, choosing either to play as themselves or catfish the others.
Last night’s live edition saw Katie – who had been playing as her son Jay – leave the complex after being blocked, while new arrival Paddy Smyth was making his mark big time.
We can’t wait to see what happens next – but is there a Saturday edition of the show to look forward to?
Is The Circle on on Saturdays?

We hate to be the bearers of bad news, but for those you wanting your next fix of The Circle, you’ll just have to wait a little bit longer as it’s not on on Saturdays.
The show is currently airing six nights a week from Sundays to Fridays – so it seems only fair for those involved to get themselves a day off during the week.
The series will return to screens on Sunday night at 10pm.
If you’ve missed any episodes so far you can catch up via 4od.

As fans know, leaving The Walking Dead doesn’t always mean the end – with Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) returning for a trilogy of movies set within the same universe following his exit.
This has opened speculation over whether Michonne could also return considering she’s Rick’s significant other, and while show producer Denise claims the decision is with chief content officer Scott Gimple who oversees the franchise, she wasn’t exactly ruling out the possibility.
Speaking to Metro.co.uk, Denise said: ‘I can’t say a whole lot but Michonne is such an important character, along with Rick obviously.
‘As a fan myself there’s always that I want to see both of them again however we get to do that. She’s a hugely significant part of this upcoming season, and the overall universe and the stories planned all exist in the head of [chief content officer] Scott Gimple. He has his plans of what will happen and we don’t always even know how it’s going to go.
Could Michonne reunite with Rick in the movies? (Picture: AMC)
‘But for me personally as a fan, if there’s a chance of seeing Michonne again either here in the movie, or whatever else they come up with, I would be very excited to see that happen.’
A big indicator of whether Michonne could return depends on when the Rick Grimes movies will be set in the timeline, with his initial departure followed by a timeline jump in the show of six years.
Michonne hasn’t seen Rick throughout that whole period, so unless they use flashbacks or the movies are set beyond events in season 10, it could be tricky for her to make a return in a logical way.
A trilogy of movies around Rick, however, would feel odd without Michonne’s inclusion considering how important they’ve been to one another, so we’ll just have to see if Danai’s departure will hold some answers on the matter.
Danai’s exit marks the third major departure from the show in recent years following Rick and Carl (Chandler Riggs), which has drastically changed the material the show pulls from Robert Kirkman’s comics.
‘Those are three hugely important characters in the comic book that made it basically to the end,’ Denise said. ‘So to have those iconic characters not here, it definitely changes how the writers approach the story, and looking at what stories we can tell from the comics [that] we can adapt to a different character; how we can evolve a story from the comic book to make sense without those very important characters here.
Michonne, Judith and Rick in The Walking Dead (Picture: AMC)
‘It’s hard of course, I miss all of them. It’s weird not to think of them being here all the time. But it also is kind of exciting because it opens up possibilities for the storytelling and I think anytime we can adjust the comic story and evolve it and change it, it’s exciting as a fan.
‘The comics always exist as the comics, that story never changes. It’s always there to go back and be reread and be enjoyed, so it gives us freedom and flexibility with the show to surprise audiences and maybe do a different character in a different way because we can tell a story from the comic in somebody else’s eyes. That’s always really cool to do.’
The Simpsons set to recreate Queen’s iconic Live Aid performance (Picture: Fox)
Rami Malek needs to watch his back as Homer Simpson is about to pull out all the Freddie Mercury moves on us.
That’s right, in Sunday’s episode of The Simpsons, it’s said the much loved yellow family will be taking on Queen’s legendary Live Aid gig at Wembley Stadium – and we can’t wait.
While not much is known about the plot, Brian May, who plays guitar in the rock band, sent his approval as he shared a still on his socials from the upcoming performance.
And fans went wild in the comments section, with one saying it looked better than the 2018 Queen biopic.
‘Better than Bohemian Rhapsody already,’ they wrote while another added: ‘How Freddie would Love this.’
Others mimicked Homer, joking: ‘It’ll be impossible to supplant the greatest live performance in history! D’oh!’

It has a mixed reaction from Freddie fans (Picture: Redferns)
But while there was much joy, a number of Queen fanatics were worried the cartoon would tarnish Freddie’s legacy.
‘If Freddie isn’t ridiculed, it’s ok,’ they said before adding: ‘Be careful with that, is very delicate.’
Queens iconic 1985 show has been hailed as the ‘greatest live performance of all time’, however that didn’t stop director Bryan Singer trying to recreate it in Bohemian Rhapsody.
Rami took on the role of Freddie in the blockbuster and must have studied the frontman’s every move as he captured the late star’s routine perfectly.

Even down to the wink, which in the film was aimed at Freddie’s mum, Jer Bulsara.
The team rebuilt Wembly Stadium and invited a number of Queen fans down on the day to enjoy the show.
Discussing the scene, Rami told Triple J radio: ‘To get hyped up for that we went to an air-strip, we built this thing. We built an old Wembley.
‘You’re usually putting flyers for background actors and you never know who’s gonna come. But when you say Queen fans at the top of that list – you get a lot of people out and I’ll leave the rest to the imagination.
‘Getting out there and performing Live Aid for Queen fans is the biggest rush I could have asked for.’
The Simpsons Queen themed episode will air Sunday 6 October on Fox TV in the U.S.

The Walking Dead has a new addition to the cast (Picture: AMC)
The Walking Dead has cast Paola Lázaro as character Princess in the show’s tenth season.
The casting was announced at the show’s New York Comic-Con panel, which had showrunner Angela Kang, chief content officer Scott Gimple, creator Robert Kirkman, Danai Gurira, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and more in attendance.
She’ll join a number of new additions in season 10, including Thora Birch as Whisperer Gamma and Juan Javier Cardenas as Dante.
The introduction of Juanita Sanchez aka Princess, however, could mark the arrival of a key storyline from the comics (turn back now if you don’t want spoilers).
Princess in The Walking Dead comics (Picture: Image Comics)
In the comics, Princess meets the group as Michonne leads an expedition to a new community, tagging along as they venture towards the Commonwealth.
The show has previously hinted at the introduction of the Commonwealth, with the radio communications in season nine and those helicopters, so it seems like the tenth season could finally introduce them into the show.
It’s also interesting considering this is one of the final arcs in Robert Kirkman’s comics, so could this mean The Walking Dead TV show is similarly heading towards an end?

The show’s tenth season will see Danai Gurira’s Michonne depart the show after seven years, following Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and Carl (Chandler Riggs) in recent seasons.
The Walking Dead producer Denise Huth recently teased whether we could see Michonne return in the planned Rick Grimes movies, and she didn’t exactly rule out the possibility.
The Walking Dead season 10 kicks off on Sunday 6 October in the US, and returns in the UK on Fox Monday 7 October.
Sam Warburton is very afraid of spiders (Picture: Getty Images)
Rugby star Sam Warburton turned down an offer to walk into the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! jungle because of a fear of spiders.
The former Wales and British Lions captain said he would never go into the reality TV jungle because of all the creepy crawlies although admitted he has been asked to appear on the upcoming season.
Warburton, 31, said that off the pitch he is terrified of arachnids and would never be crowned King of the Jungle.
‘I’m always being asked to do TV and I’ve always turned then down as I’m not really into all of that,’ he said, revealing he was approached by producers of the hit ITV show to take part in the 19th series, which is due to air next month.
‘I was asked to go into I’m A Celebrity this Christmas – I love that programme and it’s the one thing I watch every hour, every night.
‘I said to them, “I can’t do it”.’

The show sees celebrities having to survive in the Australian outback while submitting to Bushtucker challenges for food, often pitting them against spiders, rats and snakes.
The former flanker, who retired from playing last year, made the revelation while speaking at the Cheltenham Literature Festival to promote his new book, Open Side.
Warburton explained that while playing for Wales he had changed hotel rooms once because he had spotted a spider.
‘I said to them that I physically can’t go on. I’d be great telly – I’m not being arrogant – because I come across as a normal guy,’ he added.
‘But there’s this pretty big rugby player who is terrified of spiders and would be screaming at stuff. And they were like, “That’s why you’d be so good”, and I was like, “Yeah for you, not for me.”
‘I turned them down and they were like: “Please come to London and have the meeting.”
‘So, I said I’d have the meeting but then two days before I got cold feet and thought I can’t do it, and if I do it, I’d have to have hypnotherapy. They said they do that and give contestants hypnotherapy.’
Warburton added: ‘I’m not doing it but I say this now… but next year you’ll all be voting for me and I’ll be looking back thinking, “I wish I had never mentioned it”.’
He retired aged 29 after winning 79 Test caps for Wales, holding the record for most caps as captain.
The married father-of-one said he did not live a ‘celebrity’ lifestyle and enjoyed being able to take his dog out for a walk, see his friends and family and go for a curry at his local Indian restaurant.

The Walking Dead has confirmed Lauren Cohan’s Maggie Rhee will return in the show’s tenth season.
The announcement was made at the show’s New York Comic-Con panel, where Lauren appeared on stage in a hockey mask disguise before her identity was revealed to attendees.
We last saw Maggie in season nine episode What Comes After, where she was seen comforting Michonne (Danai Gurira) after seeing the bridge explode where Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) was stood.
That episode ended with a six year time jump, where we later revealed Maggie and her son Hershel Jr travelled to Georgie’s community to learn about their ways.

At the panel, showrunner Angela Kang also announced the show will return for an eleventh season – so it’s likely Maggie’s return will pan out towards the end of season 10.
Danai Gurira is also leaving the show in the upcoming season, so it’s likely Maggie will step forward as a key character replacement of sorts.
Lauren took a break from the show to star in ABC show Whiskey Cavalier, which was cancelled after one season in May earlier this year.
The show also revealed new character Princess is joining the show next season, which could mark the arrival of a significant storyline from the comics.
Saffron is well-accustomed to the spotlight with four million subscribers on YouTube, a best-selling book titled Saffron Barker Vs Real Life, and three successful homeware ranges at Primark.
Despite her successes, the 19-year-old previously managed to raise eyebrows with comments made surrounding suicide in a historic video.

The social media star and other travellers faced delays after someone was hit by a train.
In the video, she can be heard saying: ‘[The journey should have taken] 50 minutes, but instead it took me found and a half hours. So that was amazing.
‘So basically, obviously it’s really sad, someone did get hit by a train, but it meant that I couldn’t get home and it wasn’t just I couldn’t get home, it was the most stressful thing.
‘They weren’t doing no buses to help anyone, I was in an hour taxi line, stood in the cold for an hour taxi line.’
After the video came to light, a representative for Saffron told Metro.co.uk in a statement: ‘Saffron sincerely apologised straight after this incident, it’s a comment she regrets and it’s now in the past.’
‘Your light will continue to shine in this world because of the way you lived your life: with class and grace. May your family and loved ones find solace and peace.
‘Thank you for bringing your intelligence, warmth and wisdom to the Big Brother house Season 1. You are in my thoughts and in my prayers. May God Bless your soul.’
The first season of Big Brother US aired in July 2000, with Cassandra finishing sixth out of the ten housemates.
Cassandra worked as the Director Of Communications for the International Fund for Agricultural Development at the United Nations, and was living in Rome when the accident occurred.
Her funeral is set to take place next weekend in Maryland, US.
The pair have made a good showing in the first fortnight of competition, winning praise from the judges for their quickstep in the first week and salsa in week two, despite the challenges they’ve already faced.

And of course her other half is a regular fixture on the series too – but just which of the Strictly pros is she married to?

Janette is married to fellow Strictly pro Aljaz Skorjanec, who also joined the series in 2013 – and won it that year with Abbey Clancy.
The pair met while they were both starring in stage show Burn The Floor and got engaged in 2015, with Janette posting a pic of the pair celebrating together in a restaurant shortly after the Slovenian dancer had proposed.
They were married in 2017 in front of celebrity guests including Louise Redknapp, Daisy Lowe and 2016 champion Ore Oduba, as well as Strictly dancers Anton du Beke, AJ Pritchard and former show pro Chloe Hewitt.
Janette later shared a snap on Instagram in which she described the wedding as ‘the happiest weekend of my life’.

Aljaz revealed earlier this year he’d love to start a family, admitting in June he was feeling broody ahead of fellow pro Gorka Marquez becoming a dad.
‘I’ve always felt very broody for the last 10 years,’ he told This Morning.
‘I’ve always wanted kids but it’s just never [happened yet]. We’ll see what happens. 50 per cent is down to me.’
Aljaz is partnering Viscountess Emma Weymouth on the series this year, with the couple making it through to Saturday’s annual movie week after delivering a cha cha in week one and a tango last Saturday night.
Strictly Come Dancing continues on BBC One on Saturday night at 7.10pm.
