I’m A Celebrity 2019: Jacqueline Jossa greeted by Dan Osborne as she’s crowned winner in emotional finale

Jacqueline Jossa has been crowned the winner of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! 2019 after an emotional finale.

They were voted in by the British public (11 million votes were cast during the finale, if you were wondering), after three weeks of intense times in the Australia jungle.

Jacqueline was up against Andy Whyment in the finale, but was deemed the ultimate last one standing on Sunday evening.

Hooray for no more Bucktucker Trials, right?

As her new title was announced, Jac was speechless as Andy was crowned runner-up.

‘I hope she gets everything she deserves in life…I’m so chuffed for her,’ Andy said. ‘She means the world to us.’

During her time in the jungle, the soapie star was voted to take part in several Bushtucker Trials, and ‘can’t believe’ how many of her fears she faced.

But the star says that despite her journey being ‘harder’ than she expected, she’s ‘grown in confidence’ thanks to the experience.

She explained: ‘I can’t believe I did all that stuff. It was not what I expected, it was a lot harder than I expected. But also I just didn’t think it was going to be such a turning point in life. I went in and was one person and I feel like I’ve come out as a different person. I feel like I’ve grown in confidence and found who I am as a person a little bit more.’

Jacqueline then professed her love for husband Dan Osborne, as her fellow campmates gathered to cheer her on.

In between tears, she said: ‘Thank you so much for voting for me, I love my family so much, I love Daniel, I love my kids, I love my mum and dad, my best friends…’

Extra Camp’s hosts Adam Thomas, Emily Atack and Joel Dommett then handed down the crown as Jacqueline screamed in delight.

She was greeted by Dan as she wore her jungle crown, the emotional reunion coming after drama circled the pair while Jac was busy winning the title in Australia.

It was reported earlier today their reunion scene would be axed, after it became somewhat of a tradition to welcome the loved ones of campmates into the camp before the finale.

While we didn’t hear Jac or Dan talk in tonight’s finale, it was reported

It comes after Roman Kemp was earlier booted from the camp in third place.

The radio presenter was put in a pit with over 50 snakes in his final Bushtucker Trial but even that wasn’t enough to save the 26-year-old.

Jimmy Fallon, Paul Rudd and James Corden rip fake Trump in Mean Girls-style Nato Summit SNL skit

Jimmy Fallon, Paul Rudd and James Cordon got all Mean Girls as they dressed up as European leaders for the latest and hilarious Saturday Night Live skit.

Stepping into the shoes of President Macron (Fallon), Prime Minister Justin Trudeau (Rudd) and UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson (Cordon) the trio acted out what could only be described a Mean Girls-style cafeteria face-off.

Claws at the ready, boys.

Acting out what we imagine to be the aftermath of the real-life hot-mic incident that rocked the international community, SNL introduced the scene with a voiceover saying: ‘Some dismissed it as petty high school gossip.

‘But you should have seen what happened in the Nato cafeteria.’

Fallon, Rudd and Cordon, or should we say our European leaders, labelled themselves the ‘bad boys’ of Nato and even gave themselves a whole cool kids table before ripping into fake Trump.

And of course SNL had to have actor Alec Baldwin back again to play Trump because let’s face it, who else does it better?

‘Did you see him speak for 45 minutes the other day? It was just supposed to be a photo,’  Rudd exclaimed getting into character.

To which Fallon’s Trudeau chimes in: ‘Well, if I looked like him, I’d try to distract the photographer, too.’

As Baldwin’s Trump enters into the lunchroom with his stack of hamburgers ready to sit with fake Macron, Trudeau and Johnson, the Mean Boys shun him in classic ‘you-can’t-sit-with-us’ style, claiming that they don’t want to see the president ‘talk and chew at the same time.’

Resigned to take his lunch elsewhere, the Baldwin president finds himself having to share a table with the less popular leader of Latvia with the trio laughing at the sneaky ‘Impeach Me’ sign on his back.

‘Oh, my God, I’m at the loser table!’ the Baldwin Trump realises. ‘I can’t believe they made me sit with the foreign kid.’

Kate McKinnon also appears in the skit as German chancellor Angela Merkel, while Cecily Strong’s Melania Trump urges people to stop bullying and ‘Be Best’.

‘Bullying is a serious problem, especially against President Trump,’ she says in a solo speech. ‘It’s not nice. He would never do it to you. So please, European leaders, be best.

‘And I’d also like to tell you about Peloton,’ ‘Melania’ added. ‘Are you scared? Why not imagine biking away from it all on Peloton. Merry Christmas to me.’

Fans felt all of the emotions watching I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here stars Andy Whyment and Jacqueline Jossa being overrun with emotion in almost every sentence they uttered during tonight’s finale.

During their final interview with hosts of the show Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, they were both asked a series of questions that they just couldn’t get through without choking up.

And our hearts can’t handle it.

Andy was up first with the questions and the heartwarming reactions on Twitter were plentiful.

One fan of the show tweeted: ‘Omg if Andy doesn’t win I’m going to be so so sad, poor bloke can’t stop crying. can see how much it means to him bless him.’

While another noted: ‘Oh my god Andy I am crying. you’re the best mate’.

And another tweeted: ‘If you’d have told me 3 weeks ago I’d be crying at Kirk from Corrie being interviewed in Australia, I’d have laughed in your face. Andy is the most genuine man.’

While another remarked: ‘Jacqueline Jossa’s speech after I’m a celeb has brought me to tears. What a beautiful person… she really has no idea. Self doubt causes so much heartache… you got this girl!’

And another tweeted: ‘[Jacqueline] had me in tears just then. What an amazing women bless her’.

Then Jacqueline was crowned queen of the jungle and true to form, they were both getting choked up.

Jacqueline said through tears: ‘I have no words. I love everybody there so much.

‘Thank you so much for voting for me. I love Daniel [Osborne, her husband], I love my kids. Thank you so much!’

Then, when she crossed the I’m A Celeb bridge at the end, she was greeted by her husband Dan and yep, you guessed it, started crying.

Anyone else need to go out and replenish their tissue supply?

Outrage as no one meets Roman Kemp on bridge following I’m A Celebrity exit

As Roman Kemp was voted in third place in tonight’s I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! finale, fans were outraged as they wanted to know why no one was there to meet the radio presenter.

Previously Caitlyn Jenner’s bridge walk caused controversy when none of her famous family members, nor her friend Sophia Hutchins, met her, as per the tradition of booted celebrities.

Now fans want to know if this is a recurring thing by showbosses, with Roman walking alone and posing for pictures without being greeted by family members or his girlfriend of two years, Anne-Sophie Flury.

Guess we suppose his loved ones might be there –  perhaps they were waiting behind the scenes for their Roman to return?

It comes after the radio presenter was put in a pit with over 50 snakes in his final Bushtucker Trial but even that wasn’t enough to save the 26-year-old and he bowed out of the competition tonight.

‘ARE U TELLING ME NO ONE MET ROMAN AT THE END OF THE BRIDGE,’ one viewer fumed as they saw Roman flash some peace signs at the end of the bridge.

Another rightly added: ‘Nobody at the end of the bridge to meet Roman?!! Ha! It’s a scandal!’

Heading to the Australian camp to give Roman his marching orders earlier tonight, hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly shared the news, after the British public voted for their favourites to win the crown.

‘I’ve never had more fun… I couldn’t be more grateful,’ Roman told the hosts as he left the jungle and a sizzle reel of his best bits played.

He said it was the best experience of his life, as he added: ‘It’s a strange place down there, it’s an unnatural thing that forms a family within three weeks.’

Roman did have cause to celebrate, as Ant and Dec revealed he’d won the most stars of any camper in the last five years.

‘I was always so shocked, there are people out there that would do the trials and say “prepare to get nothing”,’ Roman said, of his warnings by past celebrities.

Of who he thinks will win, he admitted that while he loves Andy, he’d love to see Jacqueline take the crown. Spoiler alert – it was Jac who won in the end.

Earlier tonight the gang did their final Bushtucker Trials, with Jac acing a particularly heinous challenge that saw her tied down and being covered in creepy crawlies and guts – as well as Huntsman spiders.

A woman had zero shame as she had a dirty phone conversation in a hospital waiting room in tonight’s episode of 24 Hours In A&E.

In an exclusive clip shared with Metro.co.uk, the woman spoke loudly to a mystery man much to the shock and amusement of onlookers and staff.

Starting off quite innocently, she began: ‘Hello. Where are you now honey? Are you on a bus? What have you got for me then? Is it all still wrapped up?’

However, things took a dramatic and X-rated turn when she started branding the anonymous caller a ‘naughty boy’.

‘I’m going to have a word with you, you’re a very naughty boy,’ the woman continued. ‘Can you hear me? You’re a very naughty boy.

‘You’ll have to start to prove yourself now. I’m going to keep you at your word.’

But that wasn’t the tip of the iceberg, oh no.

‘I’m going to have to spank you, yes. You wait, you wait until I see you,’ she added.

We applaud this woman’s bravery but also, has she not heard of WhatsApp?

Elsewhere in tonight’s episode, young mum Clarissa and her daughter paid a trip to the hospital after the child ran into the corner of a table.

Clarissa talked candidly about her past and being involved with gangs, explaining that she managed to turn her life around.

‘I had a turbulent time growing up, I fell in with the wrong crowd,’ she told the cameras. ‘This is when gang culture was on the rise and murders and things like that were happening.

‘There was always some sort of issue that I was creating.’

24 Hours In A&E airs tonight at 9pm on Channel 4.

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! winner Jacqueline Jossa claims a spider weed in her mouth during a Bushtucker trial.

In Sunday night’s final, the actress had to hold a live spider in her mouth for a minute in order to win a special treat for herself on the last night in camp.

Having collected all the other stars to give herself, Roman Kemp and Andy Whyment starters at dinner, she bravely clasped the creature between her lips for the remainder of the trial.

Appearing on Extra Camp after being crowned queen of the jungle, host Emily Atack asked her what it felt like to hold the live spider.

Jac said of the Stake Out trial: ‘I knew I was gonna spiders on the head but not in the mouth.’

Emily asked: ‘What was it like having a spider in the mouth? Was it furry and wriggly?

The soap star confessed: ‘Okay so I think it weed in my mouth.’

As the Extra Camp studio freaked out she added: ‘I’m telling you I felt dripping, dripping slowly. It was really terrible. The worst thing I’ve ever done in my life.’

In the trial the actress was covered in jungle critters including cockroaches, green ants, crickets, scorpions and mealworms.

Jacqueline also spoke openly about her time in the jungle giving her a boost of self-confidence.

‘It’s easy to care so much about what other people think of you. It just doesn’t make sense. In here you have no choice, you have to be you,’ she told hosts Ant and Dec after leaving camp.

‘I’ve always been known as Lauren from EastEnders, like a doormat or whatever you want to call it. I’ve proved myself. People now know me as Jacqueline. Sometimes I worry that I come across harsh.’

Jac was greeted by husband Dan Osborne on the bridge after winning the show. It followed reports that their reunion scene would be axed given the drama surrounding the couple while she was in Australia.

Coronation Street actor Andy finished in second place with DJ Roman coming third.

I’m A Celeb winner Jacqueline Jossa breaks down in tears over fears of being seen as a ‘doormat’

Jacqueline Jossa broke down in tears while speaking about her I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! experience, as she feared people wouldn’t like her and would see her as a doormat.

The former EastEnders star wanted to be seen as something more than a soap star and brush off controversy around her personal life and had hoped throwing herself into the jungle would do exactly that.

Speaking to show hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly ahead of this year’s I’m A Celeb winner being announced, Jacqueline was shaking and tearing up, as she spoke about her fears going into camp.

‘Will they like me? I do have resting bitch face, sometimes I worry it comes across harsh,’ she laughed, while adding she wanted to thwart misconceptions about her that labelled her a doormat.

‘It’s so easy to care so much what other people think of you, people who say nasty things for the sake of it,’ she said.

‘I try to change their opinion and it doesn’t make sense, but in here, you have no choice. You have to be you. I’ve had amazing people constantly bigging me up,’ she said of her campmates.

Jac, who is married to Dan Osborne (the former Towie star has denied cheating on the star as accusations cropped up while Jacqueline was in the jungle), said: ‘I’ve always been known as Lauren from EastEnders, or a doormat, whatever you want to call it.

‘I feel like I’ve come in here and proven myself.’

Before the winner was announced, Jac said of potentially taking the I’m A Celeb crown: ‘It would mean the world, but I’ve come so far and made my family proud and that’s all I wanted to do.

https://www.instagram.com/p/B51IsGhlIJE/

‘I learnt so much in there, it’s been amazing.’

Moments later, Ant and Dec revealed that Jacqueline had beaten her co-star Andrew Whyment to be crowned the new Queen of the jungle. Capital FM’s Roman Kemp had finished in third place, earlier in the show.

Jac’s husband Dan was quick to gush about his jungle queen on social media and shared a snap of the couple sitting on her I’m A Celeb throne.

He wrote: ‘My jungle Queen!! words can not describe how proud I am of this woman!

‘She absolutely smashed it from day 1 and deserves this sooo much!! Well done baby.’

Kate Garraway enjoyed her first bath since leaving the I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! jungle.

Kate finished fourth on the show and wasted no time in getting back to normality.

The Good Morning Britain presenter took a luxurious bath after leaving camp to wash away the jungle filth.

She shared a bathtub selfie on Instagram as she took a dip with her wet hair slicked back over her head.

Kate captioned the photo: ‘FIRST BATH! Clean hair , clean body HOT WATER! The things you take for granted eh! Never again!! #teamkate #sograteful #loveyouall❤️ #iamaceleb.’

There was also a lovely moment with her husband Derek and two children Darcey and Bill.

One gorgeous pic showed the presenter hugging her kids on her hotel room bed, and in another the four of them go out to eat together, clearly happy to have her back. Even if Darcey did have a bet on Ian Wright to go all the way.

Kate finished fourth in this year’s series, leaving Jacqueline Jossa, Andy Whyment and Roman Kemp to battle it out for the jungle crown.

In Sunday night’s live final Jacqueline went on to become queen of the jungle, with Andy finishing second and Roman in third place.

The last episode saw the final three take on a Bushtucker Trial on their own to win a slap up meal that evening.

Jac’s trial was probably one of the worst as she faced her fear of spiders once more, having to hold one in her mouth for a minute.

Kourtney Kardashian bites back at fan who says she’s not entitled to more privacy (Picture: E!)

Kourtney Kardashian has grown a little tired of sharing her life on camera and she’s got no time for anyone saying she is obliged to, as she stars on a reality TV show.

The mum-of-three has starred alongside her family on Keeping Up With The Kardashians for years now, but recently announced she wanted to take a step back from filming to spend more time with her kids and gain a little more privacy.

Her decision to do so seems to have sparked a bit of a feud, though, between Kourt and her sisters Khloe and Kim.

Taking to Instagram, Kourtney shared a clip from Sunday night’s episode of KUWTK, where she’s seen venting her frustration to mum Kris Jenner over her sisters not respecting her decision to not share as much on camera anymore.

https://www.instagram.com/p/B51UoBmllP-/

Kourtney says: ‘They can’t give me one second to breathe. I shared everything from my relationship with Scott. Everything. To where all these people were involved in my relationship, it was horrible for our relationship.

‘I would fight for them if they said these were their boundaries, I would stick up for them. So I’m like, “Why would you not stick up for me?”‘

The clip prompted one fan to hit back at Kourtney and suggest that ‘contractually’ she is obligated to share her private life, and if she doesn’t want to then she should quit the show altogether.

‘then don’t be on the show! Contractual she cannot pick and chose….especially a relationship….sorry she’s gotta go (sic),’ the fan commented.

‘No special exceptions…no fair to the others complying with the contract!

‘If she now wants privacy she can have it….exit left…..but not while E is cutting a check and their core fan base is watching! (sic)’

Calling out the fan, Kourtney replied: ‘have you seen my contract? “Contractually”,’ while adding a crying laughing face emoji.

Kourtney biting back comes after an earlier preview clip of Sunday’s KUWTK episode did the rounds online.

The 40-year-old could be seen clashing with Khloe and Kim, as they called out Kourtney for not sharing as much on camera anymore and claiming that by her pulling back, they have been forced to share more.

‘Our job is about being open and honest and sharing a lot of ourselves and it just seems like for the past few years now, Kourtney hasn’t really been open about her personal life on camera,’ Kim argued.

‘All the days Kourtney isn’t filming, Khloe and I are picking up the slack and having to share more.’

She claimed that Kourtney is so ‘secretive’ with them now, that she finds out things about her sister by reading them online, but Kourt, who is rumoured to be dating her ex Younes Bendjima again, told her sisters to ‘respect’ her boundaries, as she would do the same for them.

‘This is crazy,’ she says. ‘If they wanted privacy, I would never follow them or expose them.’

Watchmen’s Doctor Manhattan killed off after backstory with Angela Abar finally revealed?

**Warning, this story contains spoilers for Watchmen episode 8.**

Watchmen just dropped its penultimate episode A God Walks Into A Bar which took a deep dive into how Doctor Manhatten and Angela Abar came to meet.

The chapter kicked off with the superhero, who has been masquerading in human form as Cal Abar (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II), approaching Angela (Regina King) as she sat alone in a Vietnam bar.

Doctor Manhattan told her about their future together and low-and-behold they were soon living as a couple, later moving to Tulsa in Oklahoma after Adrian Veidt (Jeremy Irons) gifted him with the ability to short circuit his awareness of his powers and to live amongst humans.

But the present from Veidt had an expiry date and after 10 years, tragedy would strike. And of course, like clockwork, it did.

In unbelievable scenes in the present day, Doctor Manhattan and Angela’s house was surrounded by members of the Cyclops (or Seventh Cavalry).

After saving Angela from being shot dead and killing off all the attackers, the blue man was obliterated by a piece of equipment and sucked into an unknown vortex.

Is this the last we’ll ever get to see of the character? Has he been killed off or will he reappear in the last episode?

Just one episode remains in the series before we could be kissing goodbye to it for good.

Watchmen showrunner Damon Lindelof told Metro.co.uk that he hasn’t yet made plans for the second season of Watchmen.

‘I think there’s a fair amount of hubris in planning multiple seasons of a television show in this day and age’, Lindlof said.

‘Every single idea we had is represented in these nine episodes, there was no time where we were like, “Let’s save that for later.”’

He added: ‘I haven’t had any ideas of what subsequent series of Watchmen would be. Until those ideas come, I’m content with just letting this one sit out there for a while.’

Watchmen airs Sundays on HBO in the US and is available to stream on Sky Atlantic and NOW TV in the UK.

We’re living for Kate Garraway’s post-jungle Instagram feed (Picture: Instagram)

Kate Garraway’s Instagram has been the gift that keeps on giving following her I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! exit.

The Good Morning Britain presenter narrowly missed out on a place in the I’m A Celeb final, after finishing fourth this series, but it wasn’t anything a good ol’ hot bath couldn’t fix.

Kate’s first port of call when she left the jungle was to freshen up and she decided to document the moment she reacquainted herself with hot water for all her fans out there.

Sharing a selfie from the tub, Kate looked pretty pleased with herself as she took a soak. She captioned her snap: ‘FIRST BATH! Clean hair, clean body HOT WATER! The things you take for granted eh! Never again!!’

After a quick reunion with her family, Kate was back on the I’m A Celebrity set and reuniting with her campmates to celebrate this year’s winner.

It was former EastEnders star Jacqueline Jossa that was crowned the champ and Kate couldn’t have looked more pleased with the result, as she fangirled over her campmate in a sweet post.

Cuddling up to Jacqueline, just moments after she was named the new Queen of the jungle, an excited Kate wrote: ‘She did it!!! All hail the jungle queen – love ya @jacjossa… now go cuddle your babies!’

Jacqueline beat runners-up Andrew Whyment and Roman Kemp, who finished in second and third place respectively, and was overcome with emotion as she told hosts Ant and Dec how much winning I’m A Celeb means to her.

Tearing up, she revealed she was fearful of being seen as a ‘doormat’ and wanted to squash any pre-conceived ideas people may have had of her before she entered camp.

Jacqueline said: ‘I do have resting bitch face, sometimes I worry it comes across harsh… It’s so easy to care so much what other people think of you, people who say nasty things for the sake of it.

‘I try to change their opinion and it doesn’t make sense, but in here, you have no choice. You have to be you… I feel like I’ve come in here and proven myself.’

Which of these couples has made it through to the Strictly final and whose dancing dream is over? (Picture: PA)

Strictly Come Dancing 2019 has its finalists following Saturday night’s semi-final, which saw yet more triumphant 10s as well as Kelvin Fletcher nabbing the second perfect 40 of the series.

This year’s final will see only three couples take to the dancefloor instead of the usual four after Will Bayley sadly departed the series midway through due to a knee injury.

And there was everything to play for this weekend with each of the four remaining celebrities delivering two routines in their bid to win a final place and come within touching distance of the 2019 Glitterball trophy.

But who missed out on next week’s show – and who’s made it through to next weekend?

Here’s what you need to know…

Who left Strictly Come Dancing last night?

Sunday night’s results show saw comedian Chris Ramsey dance his last, missing out on a place in the final.

The funnyman lost out in the dance off to Karim Zeroual and dance partner Amy Dowden, after they had reprised their American Smooth and Chris and dance partner Karen Hauer had danced their rumba once again.

And after both had performed again the judges chose unanimously to send Karim and Amy through to the final.

Afterwards Chris – who broke down in tears after his performance on Saturday night – said: ‘Wow, I am just very proud of myself.

‘I never ever thought I would make it past week two, genuinely I had no expectations whatsoever, I am astounded and I’ve got to thank Karen, she is just amazing and so patient it’s crazy! She is awesome. I had sleepless nights in the build up and there is no-one else who can have made it what it has been.’

Meanwhile Karen said of Chris: ‘This has been a giggle fest. Thank you judges for being so amazing to us.

You are an amazing family man who I admire and you are awesome and I appreciated you literally from week one, not knowing how to walk, and now you are a semi finalist and you have made all of us proud and have inspired all of us and I want to thank you for being awesome.’

With Chris and Karen gone, here’s who’s made it through to next weekend.

  • Emma Barton and Anton du Beke
  • Karim Zeroual and Amy Dowden
  • Kelvin Fletcher and Oti Mabuse

The final will see each of the remaining couples perform their favourite routine from the series, as well as one chosen by the judges – and of course their showdance.

You can also look forward to a special performance in the final from Taylor Swift before the winner is crowned.

The Strictly Come Dancing final is next Saturday on BBC One from 7.05pm.

Peter Kay is in talks with the BBC about returning to the spotlight with a brand new TV series after a two-year hiatus.

According to reports, the comedian has met with the broadcaster to discuss an exciting new project which will no doubt be welcome news for Car Share fans, which ended last year with a final special.

Could Peter finally be bringing us that Phoenix Night reboot that Paddy McGuinness teased last month?

‘A conversation has been had between Peter and the BBC,’ a source said. ‘There is no rush and whatever happens will always be dictated by Peter but a new project has been discussed.

The insider continued to The Sun: ‘It’s exciting news for Peter’s fans, who have yet to see the void left by Car Share filled.’

Funnyman Peter has been taking a break from the spotlight over the past 24 months after cancelling his tour at the end of 2017 over ‘unforeseen family circumstances’.

Last month, he fell victim to another cruel death hoax as RIP Peter Kay trended on Twitter.

Fans were left furious, quickly flooding the hashtag with messages begging people to stop creating upsetting rumours about the 46-year-old’s health.

Before then, Peter made a brief return back in September to promote the screenings of his beloved TV series, Phoenix Nights – in aid of Cancer Research UK.

The much-loved sitcom – which also starred Dave Spikey and Neil Fitzmaurice – was originally aired on Channel 4 between 2001 and 2002.

‘To celebrate that very special anniversary, both series of #PhoenixNights will be shown on the big screen for the first time in aid of @CR_UK.’

In November, Top Gear’s Paddy revealed that the entire cast of Phoenix Nights is game for a revival, including Peter.

‘It was great. There’s always talk about doing another one,’ Paddy told Daily Star. ‘It’s just time, it’s just getting everyone together. But everyone is up for it.’

Piers Morgan ‘doesn’t know who Jacqueline Jossa is’ after I’m A Celebrity win

Piers Morgan has admitted that she ‘doesn’t know who Jacqueline Jossa is’ as he discussed her I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! win.

The Good Morning Britain presenter was discussing the EastEnders star’s win on the jungle after yesterday’s finale, but ended up asking Susanna Reid and Richard Arnold who exactly she was.

He declared: ‘I don’t know who the winner is. Was she Jake Wood’s daughter in EastEnders?’

When confirmed by Richard and Susanna, he added: ‘Oh, ok. Was she the right winner?’

Richard then said: ‘Statistically as well, I mean, Kate said “I don’t think the game old bird tends to win”, if you look at the stats.’

Susanna then backed her GMB co-star and thought that Kate ‘had it in the bag’, causing Richard to admit that, statistically, it’s more likely younger stars like Jacqueline take home the win.

‘I think people got behind Jacqueline,’ added Susanna. ‘Early on she seemed to be the one always doing the Bushtucker trials.’

‘But she absolutely stepped up to them, she did absolutely brilliantly,’ she said. ‘She was totally up for it.’

Jacqueline beat Andy Whyment and Roman Kemp to the jungle crown on Sunday night after 23 days in the Australian Gold Coast.

The mum-of-two broke down in tears over the shock of winning, and was reunited with her husband Dan Osborne over the bridge.

She explained: ‘I can’t believe I did all that stuff. It was not what I expected, it was a lot harder than I expected. But also I just didn’t think it was going to be such a turning point in life.

‘I went in and was one person and I feel like I’ve come out as a different person.

‘I feel like I’ve grown in confidence and found who I am as a person a little bit more.’

Dan Osborne could not be prouder of his wife Jacqueline Jossa for winning I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! last night.

Despite admitting ‘smiling hadn’t always been possible’ amid cheating allegations, the former Towie star was elated over Jac becoming the Queen of the Jungle and celebrated her victory on social media.

Sharing a cosy photo of him perched on his other half’s throne while embracing, Dan wrote: ‘My jungle Queen! Words can not describe how proud I am of this woman!

‘She absolutely smashed it from day 1 and deserves this sooo much!! Well done baby.’

As the married couple arrived back at their hotel, they kissed in front of the cameras and Jacqueline led her hubby towards the entrance.

Jacqueline beat Roman Kemp and Coronation Street’s Andy Whyment to the top spot during a tense finale, with the radio presenter landing third place.

Dan was embroiled in cheating allegations during his wife’s appearance in the jungle.

It was claimed that Myles Stephenson told Jacqueline in unaired scenes that her other half had a fling with his ex-girlfriend Gabby Allen, causing Jacqueline to ‘threaten to quit the show’.

Dan has long denied having an affair with Gabby – something the Love Island star has also slammed – and he was forced to also insist he didn’t have a threesome with Celebrity Big Brother co-stars Natalie Nunn and Chloe Ayling.

He blasted reports and insisted they are ‘shocking’ while accusing Chloe of having ‘no morals’ and stating he is now seeking ‘legal advice’.

A rep for Dan told Metro.co.uk: ‘This story is not true and Dan will be seeking legal advice.’

The Good Morning Britain presenter, who came fourth in this year’s series, confessed that campmates would take it in turns to stand in the way of the equipment’s watchful eye so they could have a little bit of privacy, but they eventually gave in.

‘It started off us trying to block each other in the shower,’ Kate began. ‘By the end of it, you’re just rubbing away and shaving.’

She continued to The Sun: ‘You think, “I’m never going in that shower. It’s too embarrassing”, but it is the only way to wash. So at some point you’ve got to go in.’

Last night’s I’m A Celebrity final saw Jacqueline Jossa be crowned Queen of the Jungle, with Andy Whyment coming second and Roman Kemp landing third place.

Speaking to show hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly ahead of this year’s news being announced, Jacqueline was shaking and tearing up as she spoke about her fears going into camp.

‘Will they like me? I do have resting b**** face, sometimes I worry it comes across harsh,’ she laughed, while adding she wanted to thwart misconceptions about her that labelled her a doormat.

‘I’ve always been known as Lauren from EastEnders, or a doormat, whatever you want to call it.

Piers Morgan mocks This Morning’s ‘happy family’ as stars ‘complain about Phillip Schofield’s attitude’

Piers Morgan has taken a major swipe at Phillip Schofield and This Morning’s ‘happy family’ façade amid claims of complaints against the rival host’s attitude behind-the-scenes.

Phillip has come under fire across the weekend over accusations that his behaviour backstage on the much-loved ITV series has caused multiple co-workers to speak out.

On Good Morning Britain this morning, Piers and Susanna Reid, who is often pit against This Morning in presenting and TV show awards, couldn’t help but make a dig at their expense.

Laughing among the panel over the idea that they should start sharing awards between them instead of one beating the other, Piers mocked: ‘I mean, I keep reading in the papers what a big, happy family we all are!’

Richard Arnold, Charlotte Hawkins and Susanna then all burst into fits of laughter over the shade.

Piers later continued: ‘Let me tell you, I’m not going to any awards show in 2020.

‘I can guarantee it, I’m not attending any of them until I guarantee in advance in writing that we’ve won. Otherwise forget it.’

‘I’m not sitting there any more with the cameras beamed on my furious head,’ he continued. ‘As Holly and Phil as “happy family members” go up and go “What? Us? Little old us? For the 145th time? Us? Our little people?”

‘No. Not doing it. Not going to any awards season until we have written undertaking that we’ve won.’

Eight big ITV presenters have reportedly spoken out about the ‘toxic’ atmosphere at This Morning over Phillip’s ‘attitude’.

The Sun claims one household name told them: ‘For so long people have been silenced because they are scared for their job.

‘If they speak out publicly about the atmosphere they fear there could be repercussions.’

A spokesperson for ITV said: ‘It’s deeply disappointing and unfair for Phillip to be the target of this sort of malicious gossip.

‘Phillip is a much respected broadcaster and colleague and this is absolutely not a description of This Morning that we recognise. Holly and Phil are great friends both on and off screen and are popular among viewers and colleagues alike.’

Our TV screens are set to look a little emptier now that I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here 2019 is over.

Sunday night’s show saw the remaining three campers undertake their final trial of the series – and be rewarded with a slap-up dinner – before the results of the public vote were announced and the winner was crowned.

With Andrew Whyment, Jacqueline Jossa and Roman Kemp having made the final after Kate Garraway was eliminated on Saturday night, there was everything to play for – but who took the King, or Queen, of the Jungle title?

Here’s what you need to know…

Who won I’m A Celebrity 2019?

Jacqueline Jossa was crowned Queen of the Jungle in the I’m A Celebrity 2019 final.

The former EastEnders actress fought off competition from runner-up Andrew Whyment to take the title – with Roman Kemp having finished third earlier in the show.

And she was visibly emotional as she thanked viewers for voting, and professed her love for husband Dan Osborne.

‘Thank you so much for voting for me,’ she said. ‘I love my family so much, I love Daniel, I love  my kids, I love my mum and dad, my best friends…’

Speaking before she was crowned winner she said she couldn’t quite believe how many of her fears she had faced in the Bushtucker Trials.

Sadly it was the end of the road for Chris Ramsey’s Strictly Come Dancing journey as he became the latest celebrity to be eliminated from the series last night.

After failing to be saved by judges Shirley Ballas, Bruno Tonioli, Motse Mabuse and Craig Revel Horwood following his dreaded dance-off against Karim Zeroual, professional partner Karen Hauer wrote a touching tribute and thanked the comedian for all his hard work.

‘Oh Friend! We did what people thought impossible,’ Karen began in her emotional post. ‘An absolute novice who took six months to learn his wedding day dance to a man who danced 13 dances in front of millions and created atmosphere and character through it all…

‘How did you get there? I’ll tell you how. You were your absolute self the whole way through this experience. You never tried to be anything other than who you are and what a fantastic trait to show the Strictly audience.’

She continued: ‘You turned up to every rehearsal with a smile on your face, even when you hated your dance, you still smiled and worked your hardest to improve and left the studio with an even bigger smile because you knew you were heading home to the love of your gorgeous family.’

https://www.instagram.com/p/B50wFEFHynL/

Karen added: ‘Thank you for always being a gentleman and burping in the corners of the rehearsal room, for making me laugh, for bringing the audience joy when they watched you perform, for blah blah blah lovey lovey other stuff, best friend for life etc.
